Trump turns from past to future at RNC
donor retreat

Donald Trump stood before Republican National Committee donors on Saturday to make his case for a return to the White House, arguing that he deserves another chance to finish a dramatic party transformation that he started nearly eight years ago. In his remarks to GOP elite gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel, Trump traded the election grievance rhetoric that has defined his last two years in the public eye for a different type of message — his vision for the future, while arguing that he single-handedly “saved” the Republican Party from “the establishment class” when he won in 2016.

This is a very good sign. He has a solid record on which to run, and he was not finished. Thanks for posting.

If he runs, I'll vote for him. BUT, it's too late to save the republic. He will be the captain who goes down with his ship, if we even get that far. The usurper and his cohort are doing EVERYTHING they can to leave NOTHING for Trump to build on. Education is destroyed. Medicine is destroyed. The economy is in the tank. The military is destroyed. We have millions of laws but no justice. Race relations have been destroyed, you can taste the hate now. The government is the ENEMY of its people. We now live in a quasi Chinese socially scored society which will soon convert to digital money, seizing EVERY IOTA of self direction from us. Trump, great as he is, can't change this. Ratcheting in a change here or there, executively ordering a little correction, won't even prolong the agony. It's over folks.

Poster #2 is spot on and I agree with his sentiments. I’m afraid that the darkness of his summation may be off putting to many and that they will still go the way of being influenced by pollsters, listening to the conventional wisdom crowd, and donating to “get out the vote” efforts. For the past 52 years of being an eligible voter I’ve been told each election is the most consequential election ever. The 2024 election will be rigged and stolen and on that you can bet. And why wouldn’t it? The legacy press, the judiciary, and the establishment demanded no consequences for the sham 2020 presidential election. They fear the retribution (if they don’t cheat) that will be unleashed by the MAGA Trump movement. IMHO, the best way forward is to know there is only one warrior to fight the evil and lead the nation back to some semblance of normalcy and that is Donald Trump. He will fight to the last and get in plenty of good licks on all of these terrible enemies of the people. Let him fight fire with fire and we’ll see if he/we can play the game as rough as the dims play it. It’s our last chance.

I’m happy that at this event Trump ignored the past election and talked about a future that I want and how he will get the nation there. Trump has a long hard road to trod to convince the silly “independents” that he is better for them than the senile, incompetent Biden or any other Democrat.

Poster comments thus far, as bleak, foreboding and discerning that they are, people of faith know that with God, all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) America was founded on Judeo-Christian values and most certainly blessed until leftists/liberals infiltrated heretofore once-sacrosanct institutions leaving this country with the moral depravity so prevalent today. Prayer is powerful so with utmost sincerity and encouragement, may people of faith come together on behalf of these United States of America: “...if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (1 Chronicles 7:14)

Trump's vision of our future is probably the precisely correct way to win this election. Don't dwell on the past, show a vision of a great future, like he created last time. We had the best economy in half a century or more, all races and classes doing very well, we were mostly at peace, and getting more peaceful, and then the ChiComs, working with Dr. Fraud, dumped their bioterror weapon on the world. If he can get control of the Senate and keep the House, he can do it again, reverse all the horror show stuff, the freakshow stuff that the Dems have been creating. And BUILD THE WALL.

2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy angered "CNN This Morning" host Don Lemon during a debate on gun rights for Black Americans while on-air. In the heated exchange, Lemon took offense to Ramaswamy’s recent statements at an NRA conference last week about Democrats in the south instituting gun laws to prevent African Americans from protecting their newfound rights in the post-Civil War era. Lemon reduced Ramaswamy’s point to a declaration that the Civil War was fought merely to give Black people gun rights and berated him for it, telling him the statement "insulted" him as a Black American.

With GOP House members saying their probe of the Biden family’s financial dealings has now spread to nine family members, it appears that troubled son Hunter’s entanglements may only be the beginning of the investigation. The question now is whether the House Oversight Committee will expose anything that rises to a level that would interest Department of Justice criminal investigators, or if their probe will just shine light on a world of access, favors, and self-dealing that while unsavory is probably not illegal. The committee’s chairman, Representative James Comer, disclosed that “six additional members” of the president’s family “may have benefited” from deals that could pose a “national security threat.”

Clarence Thomas is an unconquered American. He refused to let the segregation and poverty into which he was born define his life. He wouldn’t let racists impose limits on him. He also wouldn’t let leftists claim ownership of his mind or allegiance simply because they opposed segregation. They were enemies of freedom, too, only from another direction. Liberals have never forgiven him for refusing their patronage and their leash. They knew they could not count on him to support their view of abortion rights when George H.W. Bush nominated him to the Supreme Court in 1991. So they tried to stop his confirmation at any cost, using sexual allegations against him when questions

It is perhaps no surprise that Emmanuel Macron is in the middle of another big international row. France’s president likes to stir things up. It is his penchant, his trademark foible. Re-elected in 2022 despite a disappointing first term, he has four years left to make a difference. After that, political oblivion beckons – and Macron will still be under 50 in April 2027. Maybe this ticking clock helps explain why he courts danger like a bare-chested surfer riding the waves on the beach at Biarritz. At home, Macron has caused uproar in recent months by pushing through controversial pension reforms opposed by two-thirds of the population.

The post–George Floyd racial reckoning hit the field of medicine like an earthquake. Medical education, medical research, and standards of competence have been upended by two related hypotheses: that racial disparities in the demographics of the medical profession and racial disparities in health outcomes are the products of systemic racism. Questioning those hypotheses is professionally suicidal. Vast sums of public and private research funding are being redirected from basic science to political projects aimed at dismantling white supremacy. The result will be a declining quality of medical care and a curtailment of scientific progress.

One hundred days ago today, Kevin McCarthy was gaveled in as Speaker of the House. The moment marked the beginning of a new era in the U.S. House of Representatives—one that would return the "People's House" to the people and put a check on Joe Biden and the Democrats' failed agenda. In 100 short days, House Republicans have passed 60 pieces of legislation, 88 percent of them with bipartisan majorities. And two of these common-sense policies—ending the public health emergency and overturning D.C.'s radical criminal code overhaul—forced Joe Biden to cave on veto threats and sign our legislation into law. Twenty-first-century America was on a trajectory of gradual decline—until it began to implode. Was the accelerant the COVID-19 pandemic and unhinged lockdowns? Or was the catalyst the woke revolution fueled by the 2020 summer of exempted rioting, looting, arson, and violence? Or was it perhaps the deranged fixation on removing Donald Trump from the presidency and destroying the rule of law in the process? Or all that and more? Now with the election of Joe Biden, what had been a fast-tracked decline has accelerated at such an astonishing rate we can scarcely recognize our country.
