Donald Trump stood before Republican National Committee donors on Saturday to make his case for a return to the White House, arguing that he deserves another chance to finish a dramatic party transformation that he started nearly eight years ago.
In his remarks to GOP elite gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel, Trump traded the election grievance rhetoric that has defined his last two years in the public eye for a different type of message — his vision for the future, while arguing that he single-handedly “saved” the Republican Party from “the establishment class” when he won in 2016.

This is a very good sign. He has a solid record on which to run, and he was not finished.
Thanks for posting.

If he runs, I'll vote for him. BUT, it's too late to save the republic. He will be the captain who goes down with his ship, if we even get that far.
The usurper and his cohort are doing EVERYTHING they can to leave NOTHING for Trump to build on. Education is destroyed. Medicine is destroyed. The economy is in the tank. The military is destroyed. We have millions of laws but no justice. Race relations have been destroyed, you can taste the hate now. The government is the ENEMY of its people. We now live in a quasi Chinese socially scored society which will soon convert to digital money, seizing EVERY IOTA of self direction from us.
Trump, great as he is, can't change this. Ratcheting in a change here or there, executively ordering a little correction, won't even prolong the agony.
It's over folks.

Poster #2 is spot on and I agree with his sentiments. I’m afraid that the darkness of his summation may be off putting to many and that they will still go the way of being influenced by pollsters, listening to the conventional wisdom crowd, and donating to “get out the vote” efforts. For the past 52 years of being an eligible voter I’ve been told each election is the most consequential election ever. The 2024 election will be rigged and stolen and on that you can bet. And why wouldn’t it? The legacy press, the judiciary, and the establishment demanded no consequences for the sham 2020 presidential election. They fear the retribution (if they don’t cheat) that will be unleashed by the MAGA Trump movement. IMHO, the best way forward is to know there is only one warrior to fight the evil and lead the nation back to some semblance of normalcy and that is Donald Trump. He will fight to the last and get in plenty of good licks on all of these terrible enemies of the people. Let him fight fire with fire and we’ll see if he/we can play the game as rough as the dims play it. It’s our last chance.

I’m happy that at this event Trump ignored the past election and talked about a future that I want and how he will get the nation there. Trump has a long hard road to trod to convince the silly “independents” that he is better for them than the senile, incompetent Biden or any other Democrat.

Poster comments thus far, as bleak, foreboding and discerning that they are, people of faith know that with God, all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) America was founded on Judeo-Christian values and most certainly blessed until leftists/liberals infiltrated heretofore once-sacrosanct institutions leaving this country with the moral depravity so prevalent today. Prayer is powerful so with utmost sincerity and encouragement, may people of faith come together on behalf of these United States of America:
“...if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (1 Chronicles 7:14)

Trump's vision of our future is probably the precisely correct way to win this election. Don't dwell on the past, show a vision of a great future, like he created last time.
We had the best economy in half a century or more, all races and classes doing very well, we were mostly at peace, and getting more peaceful, and then the ChiComs, working with Dr. Fraud, dumped their bioterror weapon on the world.
If he can get control of the Senate and keep the House, he can do it again, reverse all the horror show stuff, the freakshow stuff that the Dems have been creating.
And BUILD THE WALL.

While I love reading about Trump, I detest reading it in Politico. IMO, appearing in Politico would be like being called ugly by a frog.
