At a rally in Waco, Texas, former president Donald Trump spoke to thousands of fans about what he believes are the biggest issues of the day. If you were to pay attention to the news cycles and the American people’s biggest concerns, you might think Trump spent hours talking about persistent inflation, a minor financial crisis, border security, the fentanyl epidemic, China, Russia, energy independence, etc. None of that really seemed to be on Trump’s agenda Saturday night, however. Instead, what we got was an airing of grievances from the former president. It was a rally focused on his personal enemies – the Department of Justice, Ron DeSantis, Joe Biden, Mitch McConnell,

I don't see that Trump is different. He attacked his opponents 2016 and 2020 too, the only difference is those he rags on now include a different crop of people. Times have changed since 2016; the world is a different place, and Trump addressed the Deep State in Waco that has become a threat to the American way of old.

Well, I would be bitter too. He has had a lot of legal battles, which were not of his own making that were built on lies and false press/news reports many of which cost the taxpayers millions. He had a vision for America and America was on a roll up hill, but with Biden it’s been all downhill. With Trump we were becoming energy independent; building a border fence, not letting it lay in fields rusting; our allies respected America; the military force was growing and supported by volunteers; and the future looked bright. Now what do we have - greed running rapid, banks failing, a stalled stock market, debt for future generations, more illegals expecting handouts, justice and the law gone astray and a wimp in the White House along with woke or senile Dims in Congress.

We watched the entire rally, and we saw him talking about a very forward looking agenda, the gross errors the Biden administration is making, he talked about China, Russia, energy, and his attackers. Don’t agree with this writer at all. Sorry, dude.

Clearly, the author did not watch the entire speech. He touched on all the topics that the author said he did not address. This is the dishonest media rearing it’s ugly head again. The second part of his speech was all about his vision for the country and it has not changed one iota since he came down the escalator in 2015. The leftist media expected Trump to be a flash in the pan. They had no idea he was a man who had put deep thought into the problems he saw created in the country by the left and political class of both parties and he believed he had a solution which proved to be the right strategy. Our country under his leadership was coming back with a vengeance and the globalists could not allow that to happen. This is when the left went after Trump viciously and nonstop with totally manufactured bull hockey. If you ask me, the man has a right to be cranky. No one in the political arena today could stand up to what he faced and continues to deal with every single day. The fact that he continues to fight for this country despite the assault on his character is a testament to his resolve to defeat the enemies of this country who are destroying the American way of life. I certainly would prefer him to temper his rhetoric but if anyone deserves the right to defend himself after what he continues to go through, President Trump does. Who among us could take what he has and remain defiant in the face of their enemies? Most would just walk away and enjoy their retirement. Trump is fighting for something bigger than himself and if the GOPe could wrap their pathetic small minds around that, the country would be better for it but they are as committed to his defeat as are the democrats. For me there is only one choice and if Trump is willing to put himself out there, I am going to support him. The reason being that his detractors did nothing to solve the problems that have been percolating in this country for decades. They were content to play the political game that got us into this mess. It has been too much appeasement of the democrat agenda, too much self-serving greed, and too much disdain for the very people who worked hard to make the country work. All the jokers who want to throw their hat in the ring now, have to answer one question, where in the heck have you been? You have one guy seriously taking the field of battle and you have been AWOL simply because the fight was too hard and was going to cost you. No question. I am going with the guy who stood up and called these cowards out for the abject mess they have made of this country. The people that Trump discussed are behind all of our current problems with the exception of DeSantis, who he should put out of his mind for now. Trump is always one step ahead of predictions and Biden administration missteps and his base is larger than ever in spite of the ongoing anti-Trump, anti-MAGA propaganda.

I sincerely wish President Trump would practice President Reagan’s eleventh commandment— “Thou shall not speak ill of another Republican.” President Trump has become increasingly destructive of others in his speeches. The comments he made against Ron DeSantis were totally slanderous and undeserved. I know he wants to win, but going in the gutter is not the way to do it. He will eventually alienate his base in the process.

Well, yeah McConnell deserves whatever attacks he received from Trump. I didn't watch the rally. So does Paul Ryan who blocked Trumps's agenda when both were in Congress. McConnell does not put forth the best interest of the USA but of China, his own and his wife.

Most voters would like Trump to inform us what he will do to get this country back on track. Very few are interested in hearing him complain about how persecuted he is. Almost none are on board Trump trash talking Ron DeSantis, especially in the juvenile way he has adopted. I voted for him twice and will vote for him thrice should he be the nominee. If he doesn’t up his game my vote will join those that make up the losing side.

And their problem is that after Trump...well, there is no one. Well, if one sentence of picking on President Trump in a 2 hour speech makes one flip the dial, oh well. It would be like me covering my ears and refusing to hear DeSantis because of who is backing him and funding him. Ron DeSantis is America’s best Governor, IMHO. I want him to stay in Florida and keep that state as cherry red as it is. His future as a POTUS will then take care of itself. The speech was full of what Trump intends to do, the actual state of current domestic and international affairs and as he was in the Oval actually dealing with it for four years, his words on the subject carry far more weight than other candidates. This same writer and other naysayers just irritated that this first campaign rally of 2034 was so impressive. Trump looked extra sharp, was trimmer, and he was pretty darn focused and serious throughout an excellent speech. The pre-show was greatly pared down with Gaetz and MTG headlining. The last five minutes of the Trump speech were very truthful and meaningful. My friends in Waco said oh yes there were shouts of approval about the DeSantis remarks although it did not equal at all the roar of approval for other things. They said a lot loved Rep. Gaetz putting Ted Cruz on the spot to get out there and endorse Texas’choice President Trump for President.

When newspapers publish stories using the phrase “her testicles,” it’s easy to add laughter to the tears that always accompany reports demonstrating the complete breakdown of reality in modern America. There is no laughter, though, when trying to decipher the biological sex of the school shooter who killed three children and three adults in Nashville (snip) She was, quite simply, a completely evil woman, although I’m certain that her sense of victimhood due to her untreated mental illness exacerbated the sense of ill-usage that drove her to slaughter children.
