Judicial nominees of President Joe Biden over the last few years have repeatedly been stumped by Sen. John Kennedy's (R., La.) basic questions about the Constitution in Senate confirmation hearings. When Kennedy asked Charnelle Bjelkengren, nominee to be United States district judge for the Eastern District of Washington, to explain the purpose of article five in the U.S. Constitution, Bielkengren responded, "article five is not coming to mind at the moment."

Kennedy is a hoot. He's like watching a staunch Baptist who learned Bible verses through years of learning games ask an average Catholic what John 3:16 says. (Full disclosure - I'm Catholic) These judicial lambs are political appointees not judicial all-stars as they are led to the good Senator's slaughter.

Another example of what Affirmative Action produces and how far liberals have managed to dumb down America. People like this are promoted for only one reason and that's to follow whatever they are told to do. The NYC DA is another shining example of racial ineptitude in action!

Yes: I love the way Kennedy goes about his work, but my question is how many of these people are confirmed despite Kennedy showing their lack of competence.

He is the only Kennedy to ever have served us well in government and the man is superb at what senators are supposed to do. Most of them just sit there and do what McConnell or Schumer tell them to do.

I new this was about Senator John Kennedy when I read the headline, before I saw his name in the post. Great job Senator Kennedy!

A great strategy. Ask the nominee to talk about the job they are nominated for.

I looooove watching a southern accented, aww Shucks, individual "Gently" eviscerate an ivy league liberal. Particularly when done in front of a BUNCH of other ones of the same Ilk.

One funny thing about this guy is he comes across as a stereotypical southern bumpkin, but look at his background: Vanderbilt, UVA Law, and Oxford.

I do not know Charnelle Bjelkengren and for all I know he could be Federman’s body double before “they” replaced the old one with the new guy - but I digress. If I were an officer of the court having a Judge who knew the Law, or at the very least the US Constitution, would provide a basic trust required by any defendant in a Constitutional Republic. Of course on the other hand, a female judicial candidate unable to define the word “women”, has kinda opened the barn door to “the law is what I say it is”. Pray without ceasing for our Republic.

I wish I had a Senator like Mr. Kennedy here in California. Bidens appointees can be destroyed even by my 7 year old grand son.

Sadly, this person hold an undergraduate degree, when to law school, and passed the bar exam.
As a professional you are expected to know more about your field of expertise, and are held to higher levels in a court of law.
This is not the first time, and these people will be ruling on cases and making judgements that could affect everyone.
And, when you hear on the news "a Federal judge just struck down, XYZ" you might start wondering if they are actually competent to render such a judgement.

While I don't usually post "talkies" like this, sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. This is absolutely pathetic.
