Another so-called “conspiracy theory” appears to be coming true — this time, regarding voting and the 2024 elections.
A coalition comprised of more than 50 left-wing organizations — including AARP, the ACLU, the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the League of Women Voters, and the NAACP — is pushing the Biden administration to increase voter registration and turnout among new immigrants and those who are currently in federal custody awaiting their trials ahead of the all-important 2024 elections. The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights published a progress report titled “Strengthening Democracy,” in which it calls on federal agencies to “work quickly to do everything they can” to

Between the ages of 50 and 52 I was a member of AARP, and read Modern Maturity, which was written by and for Democrats and leftists. That was a big mistake that I didn't repeat as my 52nd birthday loomed. Those losers at AARP still send me mailed entreaties urging me to return to the braindead fold. Nah. Leftism is dead to me.

I never joined AARP. I liked them better in the old days when they sent postage paid envelopes, so I could send their garbage back to them with a note that I don't join Commie organizations. Now it all gets shredded and round filed.

I, too, was once a member of AARP but I stopped renewing when I examined their program. I asked myself “Self, why would you support an organization that works against your own interests?” Still get mailers that don’t get opened but go directly to the trash can.

The Dems got 81mm ballots...not votes...in 2020. Will they now get 85mm? 87mm? Think the Republicans can get 90mm legal votes to beat those ballots?

Two of my least favorite groups...when AARP junk arrives in the mail and it has a postage paid return envelope, I just sent it all back..otherwise it goes in the trash with the rotten veggies...

Many years ago, I asked my conservative beloved father-in-law why he belonged to AARP. He said, slyly, because of the large medical claims of he and his wife (both gone to our Savior), "I was ruining them from the inside" by using their Medicare supplement policy.

Immigrants and prisoners should not vote. If this happens, I will withdraw my AARP membership along with millions of other Americans. Immigrants ae not citizens and prisoners would vote to benefit themselves rather than in the nations interest. If they were not in prison they would not vote but now being incarcerated they are bored and would vote to gain money or other selfish reasons.

Almost 80 and never joined or wanted AARP. They do manage to get their hooks into people though, and next month I will get hooked. Has to do with getting health insurance at a discount, or getting it at all. Hate it, but I will have no choice. I've always enjoyed saying: No thank you, I don't like their politics.

Not a fan of AARP, but, the article title may be misleading. I looked at the report that is linked in the article, a lot of organizations are listed at the beginning, AARP isn't one of them.

Democracy is nothing but a tool for the left to steal your property, and all your rights. The founders knew democracies always fail, and set up a republic, which we have lost. Republicans have failed us.

The Constitution says only citizens can vote. If he tries to do this without a Constitutional Amendment all Hell is going to break loose. My family didn't fight in many wars and pay taxes to let people who have no skin in the game the right to vote.

I was wondering when AARP would finally show its true commie colors, never liked that org and never have opened any mail sent from them, the ACLU, on the other hand, has always been a commie sympathizer org and is definitely supported by the commies in the USofA
