A dozen conservative Anglican archbishops from various global churches announced that they no longer recognized the Archbishop of Canterbury as the leader of the Anglican Communion Monday, weeks after the Church of England approved the blessing of same-sex unions.
The decision to bless such unions, made earlier February, meant that the Church of England “had chosen to break communion” with foreign churches that “remain faithful to the historic biblical faith,” a group of archbishops from the Global South Fellowship of Anglican Churches (GSFA) said in a press statement. The 12 archbishops who signed the letter,

Is that it, Church of England? Is that all you've got? It really didn't take much to turn apostate and deny, no, defame, the Word of God. Just a little pressure from a sliver of the population.
Woke cancelled? is that your version of lions eating Christians in the Coliseum? Pathetic.
We do not love our loved ones by falsifying the Gospel and denying them the ability to take up their cross and face the Truth.
The mission of Jesus is a rescue mission. It is a cruelty, not a kindness, to obscure that fact and the cooperation of the saved that it entails. We don't have to shove the Truth in their face, but we must never ever deny it.

You know God is supposed to be first, not second. Who are all these Christians who pledge support for the woke gay agenda?

Church of England is neither a "major" nor Christian church. Jumped that shark many moons ago.

In a statement, the Archbishop of Canterbury declared, "God is mistaken. There is nothing wrong with same sex relationships, or any other form of sexual pleasure. How fortunate we are to be wiser and more insightful than the Creator."

COE has a lot of empty pews now and this will make it worse. My local Methodist Church is on the verge of leaving the United Methodist Church as are hundreds of other conservative Methodist Churches. The whole schism revolves around the UMC bishops wanting to perform same-sex marriages and ordinate gay clergy. This in spite of the fact that the Wesleyan Covenant is quite clear on the matter. My mother and I, lifelong Presbyterians left the 1st Presbyterian here in 1968 because they "re-united" with the PCUSA. The PCUSA was far left then and it's probably much worse now. The northern liberal Presbyterian churches were dying on the vine and my mom was right when she said, "They just need our money".

7 same here in a small town central Texas town. FUM just had their vote to leave because of moral impurity. It’s a slippery slope. First it’s ordaining gays, theme transgenders, then the leadership teaches the children every sexual act is ok if you “feel” it. Reminds one of the days of Noah. We all know how the Creator dealt with that.

It would be a good thing to split off the heretical, leftist, homosexual, anti-Bible group and keep the people who follow the Bible together without these heretics pushing their anti-Biblical teachings.
Bring it on.

If God struck Uzzah (not a priest) dead for having reached out to steady an ox-drawn cart on which the holy Ark of the Covenant was being transported, it may appropriate to contemplate what God’s judgment might be FOR MEMBERS OF THE CLERGY DISOBEYING THE TEACHINGS OF SCRIPTURE.
~ God created the universe in a “created order.”
~ God created man (Adam, male) and woman (Eve, female); two genders--nothing in Scripture alluding to “assorted others.” Homosexual behavior is prohibited in the Old and New Testaments as contrary to God’s design—His created order. Repentance and faith in Christ, regardless of the nature of their sinfulness, is offered to all through the redeeming love of Christ which rescues mankind from sin, death, and the power of the devil.
~ God instituted the sanctity of marriage and blessed it.
~ God gave mankind “The Ten Commandments”.
~ God sent Jesus into the world to save mankind from sin, death, and the devil; true God and true man in one person--the Son of God.
~ Jesus instituted two Commandments, “Holy Baptism and Holy Communion”.
~ Jesus founded the Church.
~ Jesus gave clergymen the power to absolve or to withhold forgiveness of sins (The Keys of the Kingdom).
~ Jesus commanded the disciples to go and make disciples of all nations (The Great Commission).
~ For members of the clergy, it is written in James 3:1, “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that WE WHO TEACH WILL BE JUDGED WITH GREATER STRICTNESS.”
A question for everyone, “Who will you serve?” Like Joshua, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”

Still, heterosexual sex before marriage is a sin, right? The inmates have taken over the asylum.
