Mark Steyn, the only man qualified to replace Rush Limbaugh, has announced his departure from GBNews after the British media company requested a contract making Steyn legally accountable for any speech or wrong-think as identified by British regulators within the Office of Communication (OfComm). {Direct Rumble Link}
Within Britain, all media speech is monitored by the Office of Communications (OfComm), where official government censors track commentary according to regulatory and compliance rules established by the government. Previously, Mark Steyn ran afoul of the OfComm investigators when he began questioning the efficacy and safety of the COVID-19 vaccinations. There are two investigations ongoing with possible fines pending for violating rules

Mark, have you renounced your Brit citizenship, yet? You are welcome here as an American citizen anytime despite having to butt heads with a few million illegals. By the way, there is also a 10am radio time slot available for you in case you want to replace the shock jocks who took over Rush's time. Go ahead and tell the UK thought police where they can insert their censorship schtick.

Wow, UK! Why did you even bother fighting the Nazis and then in 70-80 years decide their tactics weren't that bad after all?

Poor England. Once, such a mighty empire, it was the envy of the world. How sad that they have fallen, not to invaders but from within.

Hopefully he'll be back on Tucker's show soon. A nice visit to Gutfeld would be great, too.

“Mark Steyn, the only man qualified to replace Rush Limbaugh”
I just wanted to Highlight, Copy, Post, Multi-Mega Ditto & Amen that section of the lede statement, and say that you are Much Loved by Rush Limbaugh Dittoheads, Mark Steyn!
Dear Kathryn Limbaugh, would you - could you - help find a way to bring US this worthy Anchorman? No one can ever REPLACE Rush, but RUSH’S time slot deserves people qualified with the heart & talent to honor it in a worthy manner. Mark Steyn is worthy to helm the EIB time slot.

I had dearly hoped that Steyn would take over from Maha Rushie. I don't listen to the guys on there now, they just don't float my boat very much.

Bongino is talking about stepping down from Rush's time slot. Maybe this is God's guidance?

Not that I have any special knowledge, but I'm sure if Mark Steyn had wanted to take over The Rush Limbaugh Show, he would have had it in a New York minute.
But Steyn had just finished an on-line relationship with the group that syndicates Mark Levin that did not end pleasantly and some reports said he wasn't ready to get into that type of business relationship again.
Other reports said that he did the guest hosting duties for Rush because Rush personally asked him to do so and Steyn just could not say no to Rush. I think his last hosting was maybe a couple weeks after Rush's death, when he had Kathryn Limbaugh as his guest.
I expect that Rush is happy sitting behind the microphone on the EIH (Excellence in Heaven) broadcasting network, in the noon to 3 pm slot.

We don’t need to lose Dan Bongino! He is a needed Conservative firebrand!
But, (I say this with no animosity)Travis and Sexton simply have not measured up to the the requirements needed to do the job our country needs most right now as anchors for Rush’s show. We need Steyn & others like him who have the talent, knowledge, personality, character & conviction to stand strong on Conservative principles.

Um, #2, Mark Steyn never had British citizenship. He was born in Canada with Canadian citizenship. I thought he had renounced his Canadian citizenship, but cannot find anything which supports that belief. So, I may be mistaken on that point and he may still retain his Canadian citizenship.

The Brits haven’t changed since 1776. They are the reason our Founders drafted the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution.

I so agree with everyone who "needs" Steyn to return. I would LOVE to get Mark back! That would fill such a void. I still grieve the loss Rush more than I ever thought was possible for someone I never actually met, but to me loss of the friend I spent three hours a day with for thirty years has been tough.
Clay and Buck seem like nice enough guys with Buck having a little more gravitas than Clay however they don't come close to measuring up to a couple of Rush's stand in's whose names escape me now, (I think they were from the Washington, and Pennsylvania) or the great Mark Steyn. None of them will ever be Rush but at least they have a bit of age, wit, wisdom and common sense Conservatism. At least they would never waste precious airtime time debating which Ghostbuster's movie was superior, or insist that the 90's was the greatest decade for music. Geeze Louise..
We came close to losing Mark recently...Please, someone bring him back to us in Rushes Time slot. We'll take good care of him!
