At this point, everything the Biden team says about the Chinese spy balloon just seems to make the problem worse.
One of the big questions that people have had is why the balloon wasn’t shot down earlier, for example, over the Aleutian Islands, near Alaska. Or over any of the less populated areas of Alaska, Canada, or Montana that it went over?
Now, they’re out with more comments and they’re not helping themselves. They had earlier claimed they didn’t have a “water shot.” That answer has now “evolved” further.
According to the Department of Defense, the U.S. did not have time to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon right after

Not only is Medals Milley a pro-ChiCom traitor, but so is the head of NORAD.

Well, none of the millions of illegals crossing our Southern Border are demonstrating hostile intent, either, so it looks like doing nothing about border incursions has become SOP for this administration.

We have three possibilities of the military and (lack of ) intelligence agencies.
1. Incompetent
2. Traitorous
3. Both

It doesn't matter. They don't have to make sense. They're Democrats. And they're in charge. They the Boss.

Our military is so fubar'd that they have no clue whether the Chicoms sent other Balloons across our country. Were they too worried about their dress codes and sex reassignments? America is in really deep shite if this is true. Congress call all the former Chiefs of Staff and Intelligence Ageny Directors to testify in open sessions and find out the truth. Americans deserve answers. Meanwhile fire the NORAD Commander and whoever else made the decision not to bring down the balloon for malfeasance. Courts Martial all of them. Don't let it happen again.

If the Chinese were using the balloons to get a sense of our readiness, now they know.

I sincerely hope to God that the useless SOB General Van Herck is cashiered. Anyone that stupid has no business having any control over our defenses!

Now that all the incompetencies of this Administration are being revealed in the news, the Chinese and other enemies are getting exactly what they need: Not only did the balloon gather secret info over the US, the news reports are detailing the f-ups.
Great…

Now, I guess the the object has to have a sign on it saying, "We are attacking now" before we can take them out.

They didn’t know it was there until that Montana cowboy looked up and saw it.

Two things here...Dems bashed Trump for founding.funding and instituting "Space Force" who's primary directive is to combine all high altitude atmospheric, troposphere and space data into one agency that can and will collect, track, catalog, "deal with" every, even tiny, bit of anything "up there", the threat it creates to rockets, satellites, vehicles passing through those spaces, in orbit or planning to orbit, the risks of it falling back into lower orbits, the atmosphere, the ground.
second: I'm wondering is USA dollars helped fund these Chinese "Climate study" balloons etc already, how many shared input programs do we have with them? similar to the Fauci stuff, how much of the Trillions in Climate Change programs end up with Chinese scientists, companies, agents?
In some funding 'scandal' thing last year, some individual was heavily involved in several Blimp/Balloon/Airship companies, I cannot now remember the who/what/where/when of that. There was also a major Patent application for a near identical balloon just in the last year or so... a California company.

Oh...also...The last (only) time NORAD was in the News was the scripted Christmas show where they had a full team on TV all day "Tracking Santa, in Real Time". A much smaller and maneuverable "Target" than this bag-o-gas..

How many 'regional' jetliners (whatever the heck THAT means) weigh just a 'couple of thousand pounds'?
