In the realm of political talk shows, there’s nothing quite like “The View.” Let’s face it: Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and pretend-conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin combine for an hour of “entertainment” like no other on television.
From clueless unintentional comedy to outright rage, the ladies outright bring it, day after day, but in my not-so-humble opinion, the incisive brilliance of noted Mensa member Joy Behar is second to none, and her ultracrepidarian ability to pontificate on any subject imaginable at the drop of an ignorant hat is legendary.
Ms. Behar’s dazzling takedown of law-abiding gun owners on Wednesday’s episode of “The View” was a prime example

The year 2023 is shaping up to be the start of long period of destruction and renewal. The old global world is collapsing under the impact of the war in Ukraine, the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, high energy prices, supply chain disruption, and a declining public confidence in authority. The coming year will see the demolition continue until perhaps the point is reached when it is simply easier to start over again.
In the aftermath of WW2 the old colonial empires, which had lasted hundreds of years up to 1945, simply collapsed and were replaced by a bipolar world divided between the U.S. and USSR. But there was an upside;

The whole world knows that Karine Jean-Pierre is unfit to be White House press secretary; any doubters can consult the evidence of every day’s press briefing for fresh evidence. KJP has become notorious for giving answers that have nothing to do with the questions she is supposed to be answering, relying over-heavily upon the canned answers provided in her briefing book, and ignoring reporters who are liable to ask inconvenient questions. But for the same reasons that she got the job in the first place, the establishment media has been reluctant to call her out and state the obvious: that a random person off the street

A top adviser for Stacey Abrams' voting rights nonprofit defended anti-cop activists who set a police car ablaze and smashed windows while protesting the death of an environmental activist this past weekend in Atlanta.
Marisa Pyle, a senior rapid response manager at Abrams' Fair Fight Action, who also worked as a senior manager for Abrams' One Georgia leadership committee during her most recent failed Georgia gubernatorial run, rushed to defend the anti-police protesters and the ensuing chaos.
"You cannot commit violence against a window or a car. Killing a human? Now that, that is violence," Pyle wrote on Twitter this past weekend. "Shame on Atlanta's leaders

Parents at a Michigan school board meeting confronted a school board member for making incendiary – and racist – comments about white people in a series of tweets in December. Many demanded her resignation, but the school board member took the opportunity to double down on her remarks.
In December, Kesha Hamilton, a member of the Jackson school board, tweeted: "Whiteness is so evil. it manipulates then says, I won’t apologize for my dishonesty and trauma-inducing practices and thinks you should applaud it for being honest about its ability to manipulate and be dishonest." [Tweet] In another tweet, in response to a user who tweeted about being a black man hiking

One of the strangest parts of the COVID-19 pandemic has been all of the public health “experts” who openly lied to the American people while expecting to be lauded as heroes in response. Certainly, most have witnessed Dr. Anthony Fauci’s grotesque level of arrogance over the years, with numerous examples of the good doctor admitting to lying in order to get the outcome he desired from the public. For his efforts, he’s got magazine covers and million-dollar awards.
But we shouldn’t forget about Dr. Deborah Birx, the other half of Donald Trump’s initial COVID-19 advisory team. Though she has rarely drawn the

Nancy Pelosi has at long last experienced a spasm of guilt over her tenure as the Best Catholic in America, America’s Mother, or whatever else she calls herself to get through the day. But it turns out she has humbled herself enough to ask for help to make things right. Sort of.
Over the weekend we learned that the former House speaker, keeper of freezers full of expensive pints of ice cream and an ardent lover of killing babies, has now suffered so much guilt over her husband’s attack at the hands of a tidy whities-wearing weirdo that she called in the services of priests to chase out

Maricopa County is the most populated part of Arizona. When it comes to local government, it’s strongly conservative. However, abruptly and surprisingly, in both 2020 and 2022, Maricopa County suddenly started voting Democrat. The courts shut down 2020 election challenges, but gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is fighting the good fight for the 2022 election—and today she released bombshell information about voting machine problems and bizarre signature analyses. If a judge accepts this data, it shows an election-changing pattern of suppressing Republican votes and overcounting Democrat votes.
Maricopa County had 4,420,568 residents according to the 2020 census,

Her husband Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for his 2021 shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, but on Friday, Baldwin’s wife Hilaria demonstrated that even in crisis, she keeps a calm, steady focus on what’s important: as she pleaded with reporters to leave her husband and family alone, she maintained the fake Spanish accent that she has displayed on numerous occasions in the past, despite being harshly criticized for the fact that she isn’t Spanish at all.

Joe Biden takes classified documents very seriously, so he says, but even after the search for classified documents has allegedly ended a couple of times now, it’s not yet over.
In the wake of more documents being discovered at Biden’s home in Wilmington, Del., the Department of Justice is now considering expanding its search for classified documents Biden may have absconded with, according to a report from CBS News.
“Justice Department officials are also considering the possibility of conducting other consensual searches at locations linked to Mr. Biden, said the source

A celebration of the Lunar New Year in Monterey Park, Calif., turned tragic on Saturday evening as a gunman wielding what witnesses claimed was a “machine gun” entered a ballroom dance facility downtown and opened fire.
Authorities say 10 people died, and at least 16 more were wounded. The suspect fled the scene and is still at large.
No motive was given. Monterey Park is a majority Asian community, and the area where the shooting occurred was crowded with families celebrating the Lunar New Year.
While some are quick — even eager — to blame the mass shooting on anti-Asian
