Lia Thomas did it, so why can’t Iszac Henig? Lia is the University of Pennsylvania swimmer who performed indifferently on the men’s team and then proclaimed that he was a woman. Competing on the women’s team, lo and behold, suddenly he became a championship swimmer, breaking records left and right and winning an NCAA swimming championship. It was the strength he got from being transgender and enduring bigotry and hate, right? So we should expect that Iszac Henig, who used to be a female swimmer and now says she is a male, would perform at the same stellar level, right? Well, it didn’t quite turn out that way.

FTA: "No one is doing Lia Thomas or Iszac Henig any favors by playing along with their delusions. Neither are [sic] heroes; Thomas is disadvantaging genuine female swimmers, and Henig is disadvantaging herself. Henig may prefer to be a third-rate male swimmer instead of a top-flight female one, but she is doing genuine males a disservice no less unmistakably than Thomas is doing genuine females a disservice."
Male to female cheating make total sense because males are stronger than females; there is always an advantage to moving from a strong subset to a weak one. But that doesn't work the other way around. Females athletes attempting to transition into male had better get used to finishing last, or nearly last because that's where they're going to be. (I would hate to be a real male who didn't beat this actual female who finished 79th out of 83. It's time for those fellows to find a new sport. They're not good enough at this one.)

Some of the blame lies on the media, for their glorification of this absurdity.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Then just let the trannies compete in the Special Olympics. They have proven themselves 'special', right?

If not for the transphobia in the swim community which we saw stop poor Lia from winning everything with ease, this equitably poor guy would still be a top swimmer after transitioning.
Only fear and hate is holding him back! He's a man now, the exact same as any other!

Maybe she thinks she as a he/she can do to swimming what women have done to the military, firefighters, and law enforcement.

Number 6 you are 100% correct.
As a retired Firefighter I watched as females were accepted into the job.
Most came because they were paid the same as the men.
Some tried really hard Many still try very hard, the women passed the promotional exams and got promoted, and some are not bad as far as leadership and supervision.
But when it gets down to the physical burdens required of firefighters there are damned few that can cut the mustard.

I just googled Iszac Henig. He/she just might perform better if he/she stayed away from the twinkies. Sorry, but he/she has to be the fattest competitive swimmer that I've ever seen.

Seems to me, taking eight months of male hormones should disqualify her from the start. Would it not disqualify any of the males?

I don't think I would want her ogling me up and down in the locker room no matter how she identified herself. I might not be able to outswim her but I could certainly outrun her.
A layer of fat like that would help her up in the Arctic while swimming with the sea creatures... maybe she should try that.

Creation needs to have a serious powow to reflect on the nature of reality having both material and immaterial aspects, and to arrive at some sort of understanding about which is more real... and on which to base what worldly laws. It would be unbecoming of us to still be fighting about that when our Creator returns at the final judgment. (Almost as shameful as when Jesus revealed his coming passion, death, and resurrection, only to find his disciples arguing over which of them was greatest.)

Someone should tell theses "trans" athletes that 90% of biological men will outperform 90% of biological women. That's why sports should be segregated into biological males and biological females. No amount of surgery and hormones is going to change your DNA!

Pretty much it's always been fine for a female to join a male team. And pretty much they end up not being able to hack it. And that is the reason for all female sports teams in the first place. There are differences in average performance in groups of people. That is the reason we have weight categories in boxing.

I hate these transgender articles going back and forth with their gender and re-names, it becomes confusing. Use one gender one name and stay with it throughout the article. What a bunch of sick news reporting or maybe don't report it at all.

The transgender sports issue tells a lot about the current state of our society. Our society is silly. Woman have fought long and hard for funding etc. in college sports. It is sad to see it being eroded away nearly overnight by societal silliness. Hormone injections cannot over come other biological effects XY chromosomes have on the physical aspects of being male. What did this swimmer think was going to happen? His/Her out come was predictable. To be fair and not that I agree with what I am about to say, transgender individuals should only be able to compete against other transgender individuals in college sports. Taking hormones and going through the transitioning process does not make you a male or a female it just makes you a transgender person caught between two biological worlds. All the sign waving protesting, all the politicians that see you as a voting block in order to remain in power will not ever change biology!

I'm sure the biological male swimmers on her team absolutely LOVE having a biological female watching them shower and undress in the locker room!!
