Idiot Leftist Of The Year Nominees: The
Honorable Mentions

First off, Merry Christmas. I know it’s not very Christmas-y to write out a list of leftist losers who’ve been so awful throughout 2022 that they could qualify as the worst. Then again, it is truly very Christmas-y to write out a list of people who’ve been, shall we say, “less than good.” Therefore, it is in that spirit I run this today, of all days. There are a lot of leftist idiots in our country, with each seemingly seeking to out-crazy the other on a regular basis. How can you just pick five to represent all of them without acknowledging the many, many others who, for whatever reason,

It should come as no surprise to Utahns or anyone who identifies as conservative that Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) did not vote along party lines when it came to the $1.7 trillion spending bill/omnibus package. Well, he did vote along party lines, just not the party with which he is affiliated. Romney took to Twitter to explain his rationale: [Tweet] If you couldn’t stand a political version of a time-share pitch, let me summarize it for you: It would cost less to pass it this year than next. Republicans aren’t organized enough to get a speaker together, let alone budgets. They need Senate Democrats to pass a budget, anyway. Sure, $1.7 trillion sounds like

Ex-con “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli offered some jailhouse wisdom to alleged crypto conman Sam Bankman-Fried if he ends up going to prison: Shave your head and brush up on rap lyrics. Shkreli, who served five years in federal prison after being convicted of securities fraud in 2017, said Bankman-Fried needs to change his appearance if he is to survive being locked up. To do that, Shkreli suggested the 30-year-old fallen crypto whiz kid shave off his wild hair and deepen his voice to fit into the “very testosterone-filled, masculine place.” “Sam is going to have a lot of issues because he is a bit of an effeminate guy and his demeanor —

The proliferation of pro-crime bail funds that seek to free criminals in states and municipalities that haven’t followed New York’s footsteps in eliminating bail has led to a lot of misery and suffering. But then one man did something about it. He stood up and fought back against the millionaire pro-crime lobby responsible. And he won a partial victory. This is a David vs. Goliath story. The media would love if it weren’t Goliath. That’s one reason this is hardly getting any coverage. "The Bail Project posted a $3,000 bond for Rashawn Gaston-Anderson in December of 2021. Six days later, he opened fire on a restaurant worker in Chinatown and shot him 11 times.

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Amid death threats and sudden global infamy, accused FTX fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried and his parents have turned their posh Stanford home into a heavily guarded fortress. The family is shelling out roughly $10,000 a week to have a private Bay Area security firm patrol the leafy, 3,000-square-foot residence with several armed guards working around the clock, sources told The Post. “They’re nervous,” one source said. “There have been death threats. They’re not taking any chances.” Bankman-Fried threw cryptocurrency into chaos with the collapse of his FTX exchange, which came amid federal prosecutors investigating his alleged illegal use of investors’ money to prop up his Alameda hedge fund.

Pondering the end of the world turns out to be a 21st century preoccupation. Doomsday has never seemed nearer than now. “Polls conducted in 2012 across 20 countries found over 14% of people believe the world will end in their lifetime … The general public believed the likeliest cause would be nuclear war, while experts thought it would be artificial intelligence. Only 3% of Britons thought the end would be caused by the Last Judgement. People who proclaim they ‘trust the science’ are especially sunk in gloom. For example Greta Thunberg’s message to young people is ‘you are not going to reach adulthood because of climate change’. Greta famously wrote,

How much can one country endure of this arrogance and deception? – Brian Peckford, Peckford42 Canada has been much on my mind these days, weeks, months, and years, not only because I am a Canadian citizen, but because, like many of my American friends, I am witnessing firsthand the destruction of a country. The current prime minister’s campaign, amounting to a kind of jihad, to destabilize the nation and create the world’s first “post-national state” proceeds on many levels. Among them, as I have previously catalogued, are a burgeoning national debt, a series of repressive bills making their way through parliament (C-4, C-11, C-12 and C-18), a prohibitive and unnecessary carbon tax,

Earlier this month, an old video surfaced of Dr. Richard “Rachel” Levine, Joe Biden’s assistant secretary of health. The video, from the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in Washington, D.C., went viral because Levine inadvertently admitted everything wrong and predatorial about the transgender movement. Levine was secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health at the time the video was made, but it was nevertheless a revealing video, exposing just how evil the movement is. On Monday, another video featuring Levine went viral, and it’s just as disturbing. It is not clear when the video was created, but it is a truly disturbing one
Florida iguanas likely to fall from trees

Forecasters in Florida are warning of falling iguanas as an Arctic cold front sweeping across the US will likely bring a “hard freeze” to parts of the Sunshine State on Christmas weekend. Temperatures in Northeast Florida may dip into the low 20s inland and near 30 along the coast, the National Weather Service in Jacksonville said Monday. The cold-blooded lizards start to get sluggish when temperatures fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. As temperatures drop lower, iguanas become stiff, with those perching in trees often falling to the ground. While the low temperatures stun the invasive reptiles, the iguanas won’t necessarily die. That means many will wake up as temperatures rise.

A year ago today, Joe and Jill Biden did a video call into NORAD to see where Santa is and to speak with kids before Christmas. One particular call remains the most memorable exchange from this historical event. “I hope you have a wonderful Christmas,” Biden told the father of the children at the end of the call. “I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas as well,” he replied. “Merry Christmas and Let’s go, Brandon.” “Let’s go, Brandon. I agree,” Biden said in response. The video still makes me laugh. [Video] It still seems unlikely that Joe Biden’s handlers have kept him so safe that he didn’t know what “Let’s go, Brandon” meant.

The script is sickeningly familiar by now, isn’t it? Establishment Republicans -- led throughout the ’22 elections and in their aftermath by the notorious Kentucky senator-for-life Mitch McConnell -- betrayed their party’s base, which is staunchly conservative, increasingly in an America First sorta way.  Yes, lest one is confused because of all the serial betrayals, we’re referring to the gross obscenity called the “$1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.” For true-blue conservatives, the brazen middle-finger thrust rudely into their faces by McConnell and seventeen other Senate go-alongs should be an act of war. All Democrats voted in favor of the action while all Republicans on the panel voted against. Six years' worth of Trump's most recent tax returns will be covered, as well as documents from eight of his businesses. They will be partially-redacted.

When fall comes around, everyone starts thinking about Christmas. People are getting their shopping lists ready and picking up items for their parties. For kids, this is the perfect opportunity to show off how good they’ve been during the year. Unfortunately, Christmas can also bring some very sad and tragic episodes. We’re not talking about getting the wrong size of clothes or the wrong video game system, either. Many times, people encounter terrible family situations, illness, or death. Anyone who watches the news will hear about something horrific happening during the holiday. Having to deal with a terrible scenario is something no one expects during such a joyous season.

The Dow Jones Media Titans index, which tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s biggest media companies, shed 40 percent this year, with its total market value declining from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion, according to a Financial Times report.
