Trump insists he doesn’t want to ‘terminate’ Constitution

Original Article

Former President Trump on Monday insisted he does not want to “terminate” the Constitution, responding to broad backlash after he said over the weekend its rules and laws should be disregarded so he can return to the White House.(Snip)“The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS,” Trump wrote Monday afternoon, saying he meant that “steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG.”

Comments:

President Trump says what he means and means what he says. To imply that this patriotic American wants to “terminate” the Constitution is dishonest and reprehensible. President Trump’s statement (12/1/22) pointed out that machinations of Democrats disregarded/violated the Constitution of the United States, the supreme law of the United States of America, to win the 2020 election and now that this has been exposed, he is asking Americans what should be done about it—declare the rightful winner, or have a new election. That decision will set a precedent for future elections—tolerate stolen elections or justice served.

President Trump needs to think clearly before he tweets. His comment about the Constitution fed his enemies, the media and craven Republicans. Instead of talking about how the Democrats and FBI told Twitter to cancel the Hunter Biden laptop revelations they all got to self-righteously rail against a bigger man than they can ever hope to be. Huge distraction and one that wearies Trump's supporters and alienates those whom he needs to attract.

2, it doesn't matter what he says. It's happened -many- times before that they completely rewrite simple plain statements into a pure 180 of what he really said. If Trump said 2+2=4, the headlines would read, "Trump can't add to 5".

I am really having a hard time maintaining enthusiasm for him, which I did have in abundance. He does not seem to learn from his mistakes. I will support him if he is the nominee, but I really hope they find someone who is a bit more...measured. It is never right to limit The Constitution. Not for any reason. Its been so limited now it means almost nothing. If he is going to be the savior of the republic he better stow that talk.

5, the moment the left stole the election we lost the constitution. It was an administrative coup. They installed a senile fool as puppet. Which constitution were you worried about losing? The one they murdered in 2020? Do you realize there are people still in prison who did nothing more than tour through a building, take selfies and leave? Uncharged and locked up, abused, beaten, starved, denied medical card and all Constitutional rights you so adore? The constitution was already murdered. The goal now is to restore it. Some fluffy moderate Jeb! is not going to do that. Trump 24 to restore the Constitution

Everybody’s making good points. On the one hand, Trump tweets or says what he means and usually the media twist it. He needs an editor to clean up his comments a little so he doesn’t give ammo to the enemy. On the other hand, the media were totally fine with the Democrats and RINO’s trashing the Constitution (e.g. DACA, warrantless searches of American citizens, eviction moratorium, student loans, censoring speech) and actually aided them in doing it.

45 merely pointed out that the Constitution does NOT state that stolen elections are valid and can be fixed. Improper "Presidential Elections" CAN be voided by Congress. Unfortunately, Congress and the then sitting VP, Mr. Pence, were members in full standing of the Uniparty, and deemed such actions as unnecessary and allowed the election shenanigans to stand. Josef Stalin endorsed the actions of Pence etal, from his cell in hell. Americans are now suffering from their inaction.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Newt Gingrich pointed out a Trump flaw. 'Sometimes he (Trump) speaks in sentences when he should speak in paragraphs.' What DJT said about a dishonst election is correct. There has to be a way to correct it. The simplest way to correct it would to give the second place candidate the win. Another way would be to hold a second election, limiting the candidates to those who ran in the first election. And although the Constitution does not provide a way, a way must be found.

Trump has become emotionally and verbally incontinent. As he ages, and because he was so royally screwed in 2020, he is losing any semblance of measured commentary. I don’t like seeing this. I love what Trump did for America during his presidency. His irreverence was refreshing, but he has become a liability. Heretofore loyal, intelligent Republicans are abandoning him. If he cannot reign it in, at least to keep his base, what’s the point? Ego?

For those of you growing weary of President Trump’s statements, might I suggest to you that you make a list of his accomplishments, both pros and con’s and read through it periodically. Also, please climb into the Wayback machine and think on some of the things that democrats have said about our Constitution. That should put this tempest in a teacup in perspective. I hate unforced errors as much as anyone but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt because I have experienced what he accomplished when he was in office. It was a monumental undertaking against all odds and he managed through sheer force of will and love of this country to have an unbelievably successful presidency despite being attacked on a daily basis by the unhinged lying democrats, their media lapdogs and some Republicans too. Also, I can’t understand why people are looking for a replacement for President Trump when we know he can get the job done and he will not cave to special interests or because he fears media attacks. If Republicans weren’t so contrary and arrogant, they would rally to support him but we have found out that those self-righteous fools like to play the losing game on the table while President Trump wants to stop all the games and get to work for the country and the American people. I can’t understand why they would reject a known and proven winner for someone you hope will come through for the country. Apparently, their first and foremost criteria is that they will support someone they can control. Well, Americans have had enough of corrupt lying politicians who promise everything and deliver nothing. Personally, I prefer a man who is not cowed by the braying of the political class. Let’s be clear, anyone who believes that Donald John Trump believes the Constitution should be ignored or abolished is not being truthful. To say something so absurd is disingenuous and these individuals know it. He was the guy in the trenches fighting everyday for its preservation and adherence. Come on! We have an illegitimate fool sitting in the White House actually dismantling our founding documents in real time. How about turning your eyes on him? Geez Louise, get a grip. Buy a clue. Attack the enemy. We have had enough political cowardice and corruption to last a lifetime.

As stated, Trump was pointing out that the Biden regime was subverting the constitution. Trump did not say he wanted to violate the constitution. He was pointing out that we are not currently living under a constitutional government. The current regime is free to act unconstitutionally and depends on the lower courts and the DOJ to prevent any application of law contrary to their wishes. This big flap is a propaganda campaign by the never-Trump people.

I would like to say I do not like what is being done to the country that I swore to serve, protect and defend for 2 decades. To borrow a superhero term, we have forces of evil that have taken over our government, the media, Hollywood and academia. They must be defeated at all costs period. We had a gentleman in the WH for four years did all he could to preserve our Constitution against an array of enemies that would make a lesser man give up. Bottom line he NEVER got the benefit of the doubt from those enemies, so he'll always get it from me.

Hasn’t it been the left trying to convince us that the Constitution is a “living” document, constantly evolving? And when that didn’t work, they said it was outdated (I.E. the Founding Fathers did not know about the internet). The Democrats, as a movement have literally been calling to get rid of the Constitution for decades.

Trump is correct that other not certifying the electors (hello Mike Pence), there is nothing in the Constitution to remedy a stolen election. President Trump reminds me more and more of Captain Ahab in the book “Moby Dick.” Ahab’s obsession with getting retribution for the whale, Moby Dick, taking his leg (it was bit off) on an earlier voyage ultimately results in the destruction of his ship and the deaths of Ahab and his crew, except for one who survives to tell the tale. I wonder if President Trump’s obsession with the loss of the election will ultimately result in the destruction of the Republican Party.

Someday, someone will 'terminate' the constitution. Most likely they will have a 'D' after their name. Afterall, most of our government is well on their way there. That includes Republicans, btw. Especially the RINOs. They have 'legalized' voter fraud. Do that, and what is the point in having a constitution that says how to run elections? Trump was right in what he said. The media is trying to say Trump suggested terminating the constitution, but the media and our government are already doing it. That was Trump's real message.

Terminate articles in the Constitution. If you're seriously going to run to be president again, you can't do this kind of thing. STOP making it so hard for those that voted for you in the past to defend you. Get yourself a talented and trustworthy PR team to put out your statements for you. FPDJT has been a master of his own communication in the past, but he's not flawless. This was a blunder. Pardon my interruption of Trump virtue signaling but Trump did not allege that his Truth Social account was hacked or that those words attributed to him were not actually his. What he wrote was: "A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.” The use of the word, "articles" before the qualifier, "even those found in the Constitution," cannot be interpreted to mean newspaper or magazine articles that are allowed to be terminated. Our entire Constitution is based on its 7 Articles; whereas rules and regulations are administrative tools proscribed by public laws. Placing "termination," articles," and "Constitution" in sequence within a single sentence does not require being twisted to take on a nefarious meaning. Especially when additionally calling for being "declared the rightful winner." Declared by whom, under what Constitutional process? The Constitution cannot make every provision for every possible problem. Massive election fraud in the late 1700s, centuries before the digital age would have been as foreign to our founders as making provisions in case the president elect was abducted by space aliens. Were I in his shoes, I'm sure I would have acted far more petulantly and would still be be acting even worse out of anger and a sense of being robbed but I am simply a citizen voter not a wronged former president. I was taken aback at Trump's own words, not the words of someone trying to smear him.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is slow-walking its response to a federal court order mandating that the agency forfeit records pertaining to President Joe Biden’s March 2021 executive order that directed federal agencies to develop plans for federal interference in state election administration.(Snip)As reported by Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway, Biden’s executive order isn’t just unethical and unconstitutional, but “a recipe for chaos, confusion, and fraud at a time when election security concerns are particularly fraught.” “Executive Order 14019 ignores that the Constitution does not give the executive branch authority over elections. That power is reserved for the states, with a smaller role for Congress,”

Dirty RINO Karl Rove attacked President Donald Trump again this weekend and blamed him for Republican losses in the 2022 midterm elections. What an awful person.Rove’s PAC actually ran ads supporting radical Democrat Josh Shapiro in the 2022 midterm election. How long will it take the Republican Party brass to admit that Democrats are not winning fair contests? Where is Karl Rove in Arizona? Is he blaming Trump for that? How many more elections must be lost to the America-hating left before GOP officials wake up? It makes you wonder if Karl Rove is in on it?

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said that as Speaker of the House, he would issue subpoenas for the 51 intelligence officials who signed a letter weeks before the 2020 election claiming the Hunter Biden laptop story looked like Russian disinformation. During a Fox interview over the weekend, McCarthy - who will likely become the lower chamber's next leader - said Republicans, under his leadership, will 'bring the (the intelligence agents) before committee' and ask them 'why did they lie to the American public?' 'Those 51 intel agents that signed a letter that said the Hunter Biden information was all wrong - was Russia collusion - many of them have a security clearance,'

WNBA star Brittney Griner was found guilty of drug smuggling with criminal intent in a Russian court back in August. Russian prosecutors pushed for a sentence of 9.5 years in a penal colony. Russia released Brittney in exchange for international arms dealer Viktor Bout.

Leftists love to claim that hate speech on Twitter has skyrocketed since billionaire Elon Musk’s takeover, but on Thursday he set the record straight. Representative Adam Schiff, D-Calif., jumped on the platform to “demand action” on the purported rise in racism, sexism, and antisemitism. But Musk swooped in to swiftly take the air out of the liberal lawmaker’s sails.(Tweet) “False, hate speech impressions are actually down by 1/3 for Twitter now vs prior to acquisition,” Musk responded. (Tweet) But Musk wasn’t the only one to recognize Schiff’s disinformation:

Early Sunday morning, Elon Musk teased that the Twitter files related to censorship of COVID-19 information are coming “big time” and then tweeted that his pronouns are “Prosecute/Fauci.” As Bonchie wrote, what’s been released so far regarding election interference, January 6, and unequal application of Twitter’s policies (and execs making them up on the fly sometimes) are interesting and eye-opening, but: Twitter’s ruthless, Orwellian censorship of COVID-19 information, which occurred right up until Musk bought the company, was not only its most wide-ranging bit of malfeasance, but it was also the most damaging.

A few weeks ago, Julie Kelly tweeted that FBI director Christopher Wray has scheduled a “bureau-wide call with all 36,000+ FBI employees” this month. This is without recent precedent and if true, I hope it’s to announce his resignation. He should, of course, because the agency he heads has been engaged in more lawbreaking and unconstitutional conduct than I can easily document in the space allotted me here. I can imagine the blather he’d spout along the lines of resigning to avoid a witch-hunt which would damage the reputation of the agency.
