Critical Race Training in Education (CriticalRace.org), a project of the Legal Insurrection Foundation, previously rolled out databases on Higher Education and Elite Private Schools.(Snip)CriticalRace.org, which monitors critical race theory (CRT) curricula and training in higher education, has expanded its Medical School Database and found that 58 of the nation’s top 100 medical schools have some form of mandatory student training or coursework related to the polarizing idea that racism is systemic in America’s institutions. “Medical School education is in crisis, with ‘social justice’ and race-focused activism being imposed on

Republicans in the U.S. House are getting ready to party like it’s the Obama administration again. Back then Republicans were obsessed, to put it mildly, with digging up any dirt they could find to embarrass then-President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who served as secretary of state before running for president.(Snip)Anyway, Jordan, who will likely chair the House Judiciary Committee when the GOP assumes control of the House in January,(Snip)Republican Enemy No. 1 is President Joe Biden, whom they’ll probably get around to impeaching at some point. After all, they want revenge for Democrats justifiably impeaching former President Donald Trump twice.

It’s tough out here in the real world. What it is like to be at the tip of the spear? We are under attack constantly, in ways readers and supporters don’t fully understand. Our server is under automated attack around the clock and we have had to invest several thousand dollars a year just to keep the server running. Our newsletter subscription link is under bot attack and we had to disable it until we get better security. We got kicked off our email/donation/event platform SalsaLabs without explanation but ‘coincidentally’ shortly after it was purchased by a far left group,

One persistent myth in today’s materialistic society is that money rules everything. Those wishing to understand why people act the way they do are told to “follow the money.” The lust for power and wealth trumps everything. However, there are more important things than money--even on Wall Street. Some liberal businessmen and investment management firms often sacrifice profits to promote their leftist ideological causes.(Snip)On January 15, 2020, BlackRock founder and CEO Larry Fink sent a letter to CEOs saying that he will use its power to ensure “every government, company, and shareholder must confront climate change.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is slow-walking its response to a federal court order mandating that the agency forfeit records pertaining to President Joe Biden’s March 2021 executive order that directed federal agencies to develop plans for federal interference in state election administration.(Snip)As reported by Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway, Biden’s executive order isn’t just unethical and unconstitutional, but “a recipe for chaos, confusion, and fraud at a time when election security concerns are particularly fraught.” “Executive Order 14019 ignores that the Constitution does not give the executive branch authority over elections. That power is reserved for the states, with a smaller role for Congress,”

Last year, on October 23, 2021, I wrote a letter to the president of the United States Bishops’ Conference, which was also sent to you, in which I expressed--as I have already done publicly--my very strong reservations on various extremely controversial aspects regarding the moral legitimacy of the use of experimental gene serums produced using mRNA technology.(Snip)This reckless and less-than-transparent behavior involved an interference by the supreme ecclesiastical authority in a field of strictly scientific concern which is instead “the responsibility of biomedical researchers and drug agencies.” After this betrayal, how will faithful Catholics and those who look to the Church

Matt Lamb of the College Fix recently visited Gibson’s Bakery with his family. Legal Insurrection readers are very familiar with the back story here:(Snip)It also looks like a small-town bakery, with local newspapers for sale at the front, a single register and coffee and donuts to the left. Well, there’s no fancy coffee machines like at a Starbucks, just pots and brandless styrofoam and paper cups--the less branding, the better the coffee it seems. It’s the sort of place I’d go to if it was down the street, not five hours away from my home.

Given the state of America in 2022, conservatives should stop calling themselves conservatives. Why? Because the conservative project has largely failed, and it is time for a new approach. Conservatives have long defined their politics in terms of what they wish to conserve or preserve--individual rights, family values, religious freedom, and so on.(Snip)To talk of defending “religious freedom” is to misapprehend that the real risk today is widespread irreligion, which will leave so few religious Americans in the coming generations that the government and large corporations will inevitably--and easily--persecute them.

On September 15, 2022, Legal Insurrection Foundation held what I think was the best of our many online events. It was a night to hear from the inside about the Gibson’s Bakery v. Oberlin College case, we have covered since the inception of the shoplifting incident through trial and appeal, and on to the announcement that Oberlin College “has initiated payment in full of the $36.59 million judgment in the Gibson’s Bakery case”.[Snip]One of the things we learned during the event was that Legal Insurrection and our readers were closely watched by the Gibsons and their counsel (and I assume the college and its counsel).

The Biden administration issued an executive order calling for biotechnology that can “predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers,” a transhumanist practice, in service of human “health.” As an example of such biotechnology, Executive Order 14081 included by implication the COVID-19 mRNA injections, citing the COVID-19 “pandemic” as demonstrating “the vital role of biotechnology … in developing and producing life-saving … vaccines that protect Americans and the world.”[Snip]However, while the proteins produced by the mRNA shot were touted as beneficial, evidence has emerged that

Last week, Oberlin College announced it would pay Gibson’s Bakery the sum of $36.59 million in damages and attorney’s fees. With litigation now concluded, members of the community are reflecting on the circumstances of the original incident and the culmination of five years of litigation. Karen Schaefer is an Oberlin resident who has worked as a freelance public radio journalist for the last 20 years and has written about the College on a number of occasions.[Snip]“You have to remember that this was the night after the election of 2016 had occurred,” Schaefer continued “I think everybody in this town, which is mostly liberal,

Last night we had an hour-plus conversation with Lorna Gibson, and trial attorneys Lee Plakas and Owen Rarric. It was our best event so far. We will post the full event video in the next few days. But I wanted Legal Insurrection readers and commenters to hear the praise Lee and Lorna gave us. They read the posts nightly and gained strength from the comments.[Snip]Lee Plakas, lead trial counsel: We’d like to thank Professor Jacobson. And we’d like to thank all of the readers[Snip]we had a billion dollar bully doing everything they possibly could to destroy this iconic bakery.

Another myopically biased, petulant, whiny diatribe from a Midwestern newspaper less than ten miles from Oberlin, Ohio. Jim Jordan was born and raised in Ohio, and serves as the U. S. Representative for Ohio’s 4th Congressional District since 2007.
