Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick reveals he's desperate to return to the NFL nearly six years after he became the first athlete to take a knee during the national anthem. Kaepernick, speaking exclusively with I Am Athlete, said he is 'absolutely' and 'without question' ready to make his league comeback after having not thrown a pass in the pros since January 1, 2017. 'That's five years of training behind the scenes to make sure I'm ready at the highest level,' Kaepernick said during a candid interview following a training session with former NFL wide receivers Chad Johnson and Brandon Marshall.

Alexandra Hunt, 29, is running for the Democratic nomination for the Philadelphia-area congressional district and has been attempting to leverage her sordid past in order to gain an edge over her competition in the race.
As a young adult, Hunt chose to become a sex worker while she studied at the University of Richmond where she earned a degree in psychology and now has her eyes set on Congress. She also wants everyone to know that she never regretted her abortion.

We’ve talked about the change of ownership of CNN and how the word was that they would be changing things to move CNN back to its roots of being a news organization, the way it was decades ago.
Now, David Zaslav, the Warner Bros. Discovery head who is taking over the conglomerate that includes CNN and a variety of other entertainment networks, is speaking out on his intentions. He sat with Oprah Winfrey this past week, outlined some of the changes that would be coming, and bashed “advocacy networks.”
The CEO told Winfrey that CNN needs to be about reporting and truth and facts.

Disney execs worried that Tinker Bell and Captain Hook were “potentially problematic” during their review of content headed to the new Disney+ streaming service, the New York Times reports. The review is part of Disney’s “Stories Matter” initiative, a wide-ranging effort to bring more inclusion into the Disney-sphere. From the project’s website:
As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures.
Tinker Bell (yes, I thought it was one word too) raised concern because she is “body conscious”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki wept during the “News Not Noise” podcast that came out on Thursday as she lamented over the “harsh and cruel” parental rights bills in Florida and elsewhere that liberals have misnomered as anti-LGBTQ.
The “News Not Noise” podcast host Jessica Yellin asked Psaki about the legislation that has passed in numerous conservative-led states across the nation.
“How do you make sense of what’s happening?” Yellin disingenuously asked the press secretary. “Is this sort of a predictable backlash to change? Or is this an organized political attempt to create a wedge issue ahead of the midterms in the 2024 campaign? Sort of like the way gay

To this point, Joe Biden has danced around the idea of running for a second term. His handlers have indicated that he plans to while leaving the door open for other circumstances to arise. When the president himself has spoken on it, he’s been even vaguer, mentioning his health and suggesting that Donald Trump possibly running again would be a deciding factor. A firm commitment has been largely elusive.
According to The Hill, though, Biden has committed to staying in the game. The president made those comments to Barack Obama during the latter’s recent White House comeback tour. "President Biden has told former President Obama that he is planning to run

A bill co-sponsored by 18 House Republicans would remove the National Education Association’s (NEA) 116-year-old federal charter because of the union’s hyper-partisanship and support for extreme ideological policies such as critical race theory (CRT).
“The NEA can no longer be considered a public service worthy of its federal charter as it has drifted substantially from its core mission and become a massive political operation dedicated to electing Democrats and imposing a radical progressive agenda on America’s schools,” (snip)
The NEA was chartered in 1906 by Congress ‘‘to elevate the character and advance the interests of the profession of teaching; and to promote the cause of education in the United States,’’

Jen Psaki and Peter Doocy clashed on Monday in the first White House press briefing following the infamous ‘stupid SOB’ incident between the media adversaries. Watch: (Video) “Why is it that we can sit here in the white house briefing room with no masks, but people can’t sit in an airplane cabin with no masks?” Doocy asked in reference to the national mask mandate being struck down in a federal court in Florida on Monday.“Well, Peter, I’m not a doctor,” she said condescendingly. “You’re not a doctor that I’m aware of. If you’re a doctor, I wasn’t aware of that today until today. Okay. Not a doctor.

When attempting to predict the next wave of leftist insanity, it’s always smart to look to California, the land where Babylon Bee-style parody five years ago is inevitably tragic reality now, and the absurdist parody being written today is likely just a few months down the pike, if not already there. So naturally, in 2020 the land of fruits and nuts became the first state to establish a real-live “task force” to study the issue of slavery reparations. That task force made news earlier this month by voting to limit any compensation plan to, according to The Guardian, “descendants of enslaved and free

The Hunter Biden coverup continues to unravel and, as it does, questions about the president's involvement become harder to dodge. Hunter's nefarious dealings with what at the time was China's largest energy company, CEFC, are well-documented, as are his questionable activities in Russia and Ukraine. The concept is known as influence peddling, a smarmy practice refined to an art form in "the swamp."
Hunter Biden's "take" from Russia while his father was vice president was reportedly at least $3.5 million, for which he did nothing but be Joe Biden's son. Now, Joe Biden is president of the United States

As President Biden’s approval rating continues to plumb new depths, even some members of his own Democratic Party have begun to ask the once unthinkable: Will Joe Biden last through his first term in office?
Such a question might have seemed a bit over the top, as Biden only entered office in January of 2021. But, after a year of record inflation and gasoline price hikes, devastating COVID lockdowns, a surge of illegal immigration, the botched departure from Afghanistan, and growing questions over the 79-year-old president’s mental fitness, a surprising number of Americans now think Biden won’t last even another two and a half years
