Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina on Saturday night, but it wasn’t the normal theatrics and hilarity that the former president delivers that made the biggest impression. Rather, it was an endorsement that seems to have come out of nowhere, and I’ll go so far as to say it may be his worst ever (yes, worse than Morgan Ortega) — at least as a Republican politician. Honestly, I know some people take umbrage with anyone ever questioning Trump’s decision-making, but this is truly a head-scratching moment. I’m not sure offering endorsements to people based on them being on TV for a long time is the best strategy.

Honestly, I know some people take umbrage with anyone ever questioning Trump’s decision-making, but this is truly a head-scratching moment.
I’m not sure offering endorsements to people based on them being on TV for a long time is the best strategy.
We first witnessed Amy Coney Barrett’s affability and strength in the face of adversity during her confirmation hearings in 2020. She put on quite a display as Democrats did everything possible to shake and disrupt her. It didn’t work. And we got a glimpse of that sturdiness again this week when Barrett was being interviewed during an appearance at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
The video below picks up after a heckler had interrupted Barret while she answered a question about the media attention she had to endure. What the troublemaker had shouted was mostly inaudible, but it sounded like something about “enslaver of women,”
Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: Violent sociopath sentenced to prison for felony crimes is released early and recommits violent crime, killing again. Sound familiar?
Newsweek picked up a story from The Sacramento Bee that one of the alleged participants in last weekend’s horrific shooting, a third person of interest originally arrested on charge of illegal firearm possession, was already released on bail.

Shortly after a mass shooting occurred in Sacramento, California early Sunday, Joe Biden was busy using the tragedy to beat the drum for more gun control across the country – despite the fact that California arguably has what are the nation’s strictest gun control laws, and despite not having any facts about the shooting or the shooters. About a year ago I wrote an article about my Democrat friends. We were barely 2 months into the Harris/Biden administration and they were getting a bit embarrassed about the leadership they had helped foist on the country. My naïve friends had bought into the propaganda that all of the turmoil in Washington was because of Donald Trump. They voted for a return to normalcy. Only two months into this administration, they were embarrassed to see that they had been hoodwinked big time.
The Dems were now in charge of everything, yet the turmoil was greater than ever.
There was a lot of crazy effort from folks on the left to try to provide some cover for Joe Biden’s big gaffe seemingly pushing regime change as to Vladimir Putin.
We even saw Never Trumper “expert” Tom Nichols get upset with CNN because they finally had a truthful chyron — just quoting what Biden said about Putin.
The White House walked that back, claiming that Biden’s point was that “Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change.” Then Biden messed that up, saying he wasn’t walking anything back but saying
CNN is known for fake news. Who could ever forget the “fiery but peaceful protests” chyron they had to try to downplay the violence of the BLM riots?
But we have to hand it to them for being accurate when it came to what Joe Biden said during his big speech in Poland. His team heralded the remarks as a landmark speech and iconic, à la Ronald Reagan at the Berlin Wall.

So, we knew something was afoot when the Lincoln Project made this post about their co-founder and former associate, Steve Schmidt.
Schmidt resigned from the organization in February 2021, after the news broke about the sexual allegation against another co-founder, John Weaver, and after reports about a house he bought in Utah. The Lincoln Project’s post says he hasn’t been associated with the organization since November 2021. That’s an interesting discrepancy.

This is the invocation of joy that begins Friedrich Schiller’s great Ode, whose first three stanzas were set by Beethoven in the final movement of his 9th Symphony. Baltimore Symphony conductor Marin Alsop has replaced them with doggerel from a local rapper. She explained to Baltimore magazine:
You know, the [Friedrich] Schiller poetry is phenomenal, but it’s not relevant for us today. (Snip) Alsop also inserted African drumming and a jazz ensemble between movements of Beethoven’s symphony.

I really can’t stand it anymore. I used to be able to ignore it, even laugh at how stupid it was, but I just can’t anymore. What leftist Democrats are doing to this country on the issues of race and gender are so disgusting that, honestly, I hate them. I don’t hate them in a “there’s an annoying rock in my shoe” kind of way, I despise them. I hate them in an “I wouldn’t spit on them if they were on fire” kind of way. This is, of course, what they want – they need those of us sane enough to see clearly what they’re doing to hate them,

Interim Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz reportedly lashed out at a coffee chain barista who was leading a unionization drive at one of the company’s California locations, telling the worker: “If you hate Starbucks so much, why don’t you go somewhere else?” The alleged encounter between Schultz and the 25-year-old barista, Madison Hall, took place at Long Beach Airport on Friday, Hall has claimed. The mayor of Mariupol, Ukraine, said Monday that more than 10,000 civilians have died during the Russian siege and subsequent occupation of the city.
Mayor Vadym Boychenko warned that the final civilian death toll could exceed 20,000 in a phone call with the Associated Press, and said that corpses were “carpeted through the streets.” Boychenko also claimed Russian forces had brought mobile crematoriums to the city.
