As has been clear for some time now, the fortunes of Joe Biden’s Build Back Better legislation and the state of the US economy are inextricably linked. With every bit of economic bad news, such as the worse-in-40-years inflation figures announced on Friday, the chances of the president securing 50 votes for his monster spending bill seem to fade.
Today, Biden will meet Joe Manchin and try to win the West Virginia holdout round. But one suspects nothing the president says to Manchin would be as persuasive as some good economic news — in particular, an easing of the price rises that Manchin has long said are a major reason

Because they are Marxists. They think that you having freedom to live where you want, in a nice home, heat it and cool it to your choice, and driving any old POWERFUL and comfortable car is just unacceptable.
Until you are broken and begging the government for handouts, they

somehow....much of my post was erased. It continued on....
they won't be satisfied. They want everyone living in a hovel, cold in the winter, hot in the summer, taking public transportation, or maybe a crummy electric golf cart. They took "Hunger Games" as their ideal blueprint for the future and have set out making it happen.
What good is it being "the wealthy leadership" if everyone can afford a really nice house and nice powerful, long range gasoline car, vacations occasionally and nice food? Nothing to beg from the government. Less power for the government thugs. If you have nice things....you won't beg for more government handouts -- so they have to make sure that you DON'T have nice things, on the average.
Look at history. Every Marxist government that has ever come to power has empoverished EVERYONE except the top elite bureaucracy. That's what they want to do here.

The Biden administration takes inflation seriously because for them it is a feature not a defect in their economic plans.

My wife just got back from the grocery. She's spending $300 for the two of us where she used to spend closer to $150. And she commented that the **** potato chips have gone from two something to three something while the bags have shrunk again. She didn't buy them because of this. We're seeing this across the shopping spectrum.
There are layers of inflation hitting the average shopper and the folks eating caviar simply aren't feeling it.

The White House is the ultimate Golden Cocoon. There is zero hardship for POTUS and FLOTUS. They have legions of lackeys to satisfy their every want and desire. Inflation is just an abstraction that is less worrisome as the buzzing of a pesky fly.

To add to what DVC cays. The white house is taking inflation seriously. They seriously want to destroy this country's economy. Their actions are taking a seriously bad toll on aid economy. They are seriously VERY happy that the economy is seriously hurting.

A rhetorical question: How many times do even conservative writers have to be told that a bad economy and inflation together with other evil things are being deliberately, with malice aforethought after laying in wait (CPC 187) basted on the American people with the intent of an eventual communist takeover?

Because they are awash in Chinese cash so inflation has no effect on them whatsoever.
I just spent several days in the DC suburbs. Premium gas is over $4 in Northern Virginia.

Because it doesn’t affect our moron in chief or the good doctor Jill. They’re millionaires along with most if not all the crooks in this administration. Does anyone think Barry and Michelle are worried about an increase in the price of Waygu beef or their heating bill? What about Pelosi? She has millions. They don’t care about inflation because they don’t notice the price increases. Anyone really believe Nancy is concerned about the little people? If you believe any of this administration cares about you, your stupid.

inflation is Democrat Party policy. Inflation is how Democrats renege on their debts; it's how Democrats enact huge tax increases on the middle class; it's how they destroy the economy. . Every Democrat since Woodrow Wilson has used inflation.
