Joplin, Mont.—Federal officials sent a team of investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board to the site of an Amtrak derailment in north-central Montana that killed three people and left seven hospitalized Sunday, officials said. The westbound Empire Builder was en route to Seattle from Chicago, with two locomotives and 10 cars, when it left the tracks about 4 p.m. Saturday near Joplin, a town of about 200. The train was carrying about 141 passengers and 16 crew members and had two locomotives and 10 cars, eight of which derailed, Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams said. The US government sent 15 FBI agents to investigate Bubba Wallace's racist garage door pull, but only 14 NTSB investigators to check out a train derailment with 3 fatalities. Our nation certainly has its priorities in order.

This is why rail will never be popular in the US. This train had 2 locomotives, 10 cars and 157 passengers and crew. Does not sound very cost effective, does it? On top of that they had an accident and killed 3 people. I like heritage trains but I'm not getting on this killer.

As long as there have been trains they fall off the tracks. As long as there have been cars they run off the road. As long as there have been airplanes they fall out of the sky. So this is news ?

A couple of those cars spilt off at spokane and head south to portland. By the look and behavior of many of the portland passengers, It's a favorite ride for antifa between chicago, minneapolis, and portland riots. Cheap fare, no i.d. required to get on board, no risk of getting caught with weapons on board, and 30 hours of rest.

The Pentagon recently revised its rules that will make it easier for political appointees and congressional staffers to gain access to the Defense Department’s most secret programs, raising concerns among security officials that secrets will be compromised. Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks issued a memorandum to senior Pentagon officials Sept. 20 stating that filling out a counterintelligence questionnaire is no longer required for gaining access to Pentagon special access programs, known as SAPs, that are the most secret activities and programs within the department. The eased rules specifically allow Senate-confirmed political appointees, members of the House and Senate, the professional staff of the congressional defense and intelligence oversight committees

A TV watchdog group is calling on Netflix to remove “Big Mouth,” saying the animated series provides troubling depictions of sexualized children. In a detailed report, the Los Angeles-based Parents Television and Media Council (PTC) hits the cartoon for depicting fully nude children and their genitalia as they go through puberty. “It’s animated, but I cannot fathom a scenario in which we should be comfortable with even an animated depiction of a 13-year-old’s private parts,” Melissa Hensen, author of the study, told The Washington Times. “It cannot be helpful for our society to encourage adult viewers to be looking at children in this way.”
