The cop who fatally shot US Capitol rioter Ashli Babbitt as she stormed the building was exonerated after an internal police investigation, according to a report Friday. “No further action will be taken” in the use-of-force probe of the United States Capitol Police officer, whose name has not been released, NBC reported, citing an internal memo from the department. The Capitol Police’s report clearing him concludes the last remaining law enforcement investigation into the shooting, according to the outlet.(Snip)The internal investigation backs up a statement by the Justice Department in April declaring that no charges will be brought against the cop, who is reportedly a “high ranking”

If Ashli Babbitt had been bLACK and the "high-ranking officer" been WHITE, there would have been street rioting and hand-wringing, his name would be known worldwide, and he'd be sitting in prison right now.

In Portland, a cop shoots an unarmed civilian, and the people take to the streets.
In DC, not so much.

From the article:
" United States Capitol Police officer"
"who is reportedly a “high ranking” officer."
Will the American people ever know, OFFICIALLY, the name of the person that shot and killed Ashli Babbitt?
Does that officer have a first, middle, last name?

Sheesh! At least, confiscate his pistol for a whole week.

FTA, "Babbitt was a decorated security forces controller who served in Middle East tours from 2004 to 2016, records show. She was also a well-known radical conservative activist and promoter of QAnon conspiracy theories, the outlet reported." Thus, we have Natalie O'Neill's and the NY Post' reason justifying the execution of Ashli Babbitt by Naci Piglosi's executioner. You don't beleive what they want you to believe, its justification for your execution. This are vile propagandist. The shocking thing is they are not in the streets with their Taliban brothers chanting death America.

This article begins with so many errors that Natalie O’Neill should be fired from the Post. Ashli Babbitt did not “storm” into the Capitol. This little woman walked in with others who did the same. She was not shot in the head. She was shot in her left shoulder. She was not climbing through the hole in the glass pane the door into the Speaker’s Lobby. I didn’t read any further. Utter garbage.

Michael Leroy Byrd's days are numbered, high-ranking or not. You don't murder an unarmed woman in a civilized society and get away with it. Frontier justice is all that's left since our DOJ is obviously corrupted beyond repair.

Swept under the rug by the murderous federal government, as expected. She joins the Branch Davidians and Vicki Weaver and countless others murdered by our government, and then absolved by the same government.

Black Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd was head of some special detail. Pelosi’s name has been mentioned. He was hiding in a room off the Speaker’s Lobby, immediately inside locked and barricaded doors with a glass panel that had been partially broken out. He lurched out, gave no warning, and shot her. Her body was inside the hallway outside and fell backward onto the floor there.

If you detain or are even nearby when another officer detains a drugged out career criminal as per training and policy you get hit with a murder charge when he chokes out from a drug overdose.
Shoot an unarmed patriot expressing her right to grieve the government, get a medal.

When an unarmed white woman is killed by cop and the cop is cleared of charges, not a peep about it from the race hustling Commiecrats. Can't wait till the next time a criminal who is not white gets killed by a cop.

Well really? No one had any idea you could investigate and clear yourself of murder. And not only that, not show anything to the public, many of whom feel dissatisfied with no evidence provided, and opposing views not heard. None of this is legal. Sure, Amy Barrett will soon be writing her opinion in support. Or maybe Kavanaugh, the guy the liberals didn't want for some unknown reason.

Why is this news? No one who is a federal employee is going to held responsible for anything. Your only guilty if your an everyday ordinary citizen. Just pay your taxes and shut up.

Can you imagine the uproar if a locality refused to identify an officer involved in shooting a black citizen? Pelosi would essentially close the House to hold endless hearings. Congresspeople would be in front of every camera decrying the injustices of the nation's police. The justice Dept. would be mobilizing it's overpowering resources to break the city in any manner possible and very probably providing BLM with unlimited gasoline to burn it to the ground.

He’s an expensively-dressed black plainclothes office who prior to this incident was involved in leaving his sidearm in a Senate men’s room. Can you imagine the howling if he were brought to book?

You might notice that the newspaper makes sure that we are told the victim "stormed the building" as she was standing still.
