The rapid collapse of Afghanistan's armed forces may have surprised President Biden but dozens of reports from a federal watchdog revealed how the U.S. bungled efforts to shore up the country. From millions spent on military planes left rotting at Kabul's international airport to the billions of dollars wasted trying and failing to eradicate the country's opium crops, the dispatches from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction Illustrated the fraud and abuse that derailed a $145 billion effort. 'If the goal was to rebuild and leave behind a country that could sustain itself and pose little threat to U.S. national security interests, the overall picture in Afghanistan is bleak,'
A $176 million road to nowhere. That's nothing. California is building an $80 billion train to nowhere!

While the defense contractors/lobbyists "snuggle" with their Pentagon friends.
However, dinner and a movie first.
Sign the procurement form before leaving in the morning.

Half a billion of our dollars wasted on faulty cargo planes that would up sold for scrap at $40,257. No one was held accountable and the Air Force general in charge wound up "working" for the supplier after he retired. Who says this sort of thing is not profitable? It's like a game with respectable government officials; do favors for industry, then get paid by the company when they're out of government.

Fraud and abuse?
Corruption? Grift? Amoral conduct?
You don’t have to go half-way ‘round the world to find those character traits.
You can walk up Pennsylvania Ave (or down, depending on where you start).
Or hike across The 14th Street Bridge.
You’ll find a royal flush in corruption.

Joe and Congress have no money at stake. It is American taxpayers footing the bill; aka OPM.

Aerial spraying with Round Up would easily have eliminated the poppy fields. Probably big chunks flowing back through Hunter to Traitor Joe and dozens more Deep State thieves.

It's only taxpayer money, plenty more where that came from. If not, we will borrow it or print it.

You do have to question if it wasn't the poppies that kept our country there for over twenty years.
And people in The Mainstream Media complain about Trump.

Time to cut Washington DC off from our money...time to set up escrow accounts with tax dollars being legally set aside till Washington DC gets straightened out...74,000,000 million taxpayers cannot be sued and sent to jail...there's power in numbers...

Cry me a river. The purpose of these "infrastructure" improvements was to suck up excess labor, to put some jingle in pockets, to keep the otherwise unemployed to take up arms. The Afghan security forces served much the same purpose. It's only money. The US spent 20 years buying off all involved. What's $6.7 TRILLION to our balance sheet?
And let's not forget that 12 of 20 years this was done under a "conservative" Republican administration. Or, 16 or 20 under a UNIPARTY globalist administration. Take your pick.

Pres. Trump called out the corruption in Government and was trying to correct the problems, just as Pres. Reagan had. ...But Biden/Harris are trying to sink the USA back into the Deep State. They have abused America's trust, and that of the world, in mere months. We pray for those innocent captives these vile leaders have surrendered to the barbarians.

In other news, Mr. Rabbiter and I just received a letter from the IRS saying we owe $1350 in addition to the thousands we already paid back in 2019.
At least, now I know why.
Let me rush to the post office and Express Mail it to Joe. I know he'll spend it wisely . . .

Nine years of reports and 50 appearances before our Esteemed Congress and nothing was done about the colossal waste of taxpayer money because wasting taxpayer dollars while lining their own pockets is the primary function of our government.
