The collapse of the Afghan government and takeover of the country by the Taliban is stirring concern in foreign capitals that chaos and instability engulfing the country could spill over to its neighbors and possibly drive a tide of refugees as far as Europe.
There was also an undercurrent of criticism of the U.S. for the speed of its departure after nearly 20 years, colored by Washington’s failure to establish a stable government that could stand without American military support.
It was a "mostly peaceful" takeover.

And the Mullahs in Iran are dancing in the streets. They've almost doubled their territory overnight...

Of course the chaos will spread. 9th century barbarians just defeated the United States. And EVERYONE knows that we have a dementia patient running the country. Nothing emboldens your enemies like victory and weakness.
If I were in Taiwan, South Korea or anywhere near or in the middle east, I would be booking the next flight out of country.

Soon China will have airbases in Afghanistan since they have cozied up to the Taliban, and will have increased influence in areas like the breakaway republics. Russia won't be happy.
Beginning to think the main reason Biden did this was to undo another Trump policy with no regard to the repercussions. Good going, Joe. Your Trump hatred is getting thousands killed.

I'll bet Europe is wishing President Trump was in the White House...their need to bring America to our knees has left them with fall out...and the Middle East will now run for Europe and more china virus problems...thanks to biden/obama...and let's not forget nervous nancy and chuck schummer...they got their trillions...but they can now see... it's a hollow victory because America is waking up...

Bug Out Biden did the operation withdrawal at warp speed just to show the previous administration how much better he could do it. We are not the policemen of the world. If you have trouble with your neighbors then arm up and do something or just shut up. Bug Out Biden has bigger fish to fry like anti-vaxer, anti-mask, gun toting Christians on the countryside. Applesauce for brains Joe Biden operates at warp speed running head long with the U.S. into socialism. Joe's old boss couldn't work this fast at fundamentally changing America into a hell hole is just seven months when Obama tried it for eight years.

I could see a tide of refugees but I doubt that the Taliban have any interests outside of Afghanistan. They're pretty happy just decimating the population of that country.

Fatah. Look it up. The word, not the organization.
Don't kid yourselves. England and France are going fast, and we're letting it happen over here. Look who we're electing, and who we're "tolerating." Omar, Tlaib, CAIR. America has a death wish.

For Europe, they better get ready for another massive “refugee” wave of Afghans and a lot of covert Islamists who are bound to use this opportunity to silently invade Europe.

This is why the Democrat"ic" Party has been called the "War Party". Weakness provokes aggression, as we SHOULD know. Pray for all those who will be killed and injured as this new war ramps up. Sadly, we are only at the beginning of it. Divine intervention urgently needed.

It is my fondest wish that the European and Middle Eastern governments that hated Donald Trump and supported the brain dead socialists in America are worried most. They will all reap the whirlwind.

China will have access to tons of cheap opium to keep their masses mindless and happy. The Taliban now have complete control of the world's supply.

I thought that the Europeans liked this new vegetable in the WH?!?! His administration from the commie gutter was their dream come
The strange noise that I was hearing every day was Putin, the Chinese emperor and the Koreans slapping their thighs and laughing 24/7 their heads off that the US 'installed' this pathetic vegetable. The community organizer's third term is not turning out quite how he wanted it. Now the surrounding countries and the Euros are worried! Oh my!
But let's not wake up the vege, he needs his 'nap', because he worked I believe 2 days last week!

75,000 seventh century murdering marauders take over a country, and everyone sits back and watches. Wouldn't it be a good idea for nations to unite and handle such situations? You know, something like a 'united nations,' or something.

If the Euroweenies think they can do a better job in Afghanistan, then have at it. We'll sit back and watch you fail as well. As far as I'm concerned, if the people in that region love living in the stone age, then just drop a few nukes on them and bomb them back to where they want to live. The damage couldn't amount to more than a few thousand dollars.

Americans and Europeans will soon learn that this is why it is better to have what they consider a "bully" in the White House than a more more moderate European type President. Be careful what you wish for. Liberals wanted a more thoughtful person who used nice word and made them feel good. What they really needed is someone who said and actually did what needed to be said/done to make them safe. Now, they have neither. They have Joe Biden.
