Anybody notice how cold and heartless
Biden was in his Afghanistan speech?

Original Article

Posted By: PageTurner, 8/17/2021 8:17:37 AM

Joe Biden and his media acolytes call him Mr. Empathy and Mr. Compassion. His Afghanistan speech yesterday told a different story, and should end that phony spin forever. My takeaway was how cold, and hard, and compassionless Biden was as he sought to extricate himself from the catastrophe of his own making. He blamed everyone but himself for his failure, particularly the Afghan army. He smarmily assured terrified Afghanis left behind he'd now speak out for their human rights instead of actually protect them. He effectively told U.S. servicemembers their service was for nothing. It was appalling.

Comments:

He's like a villain out of Dickens, or Conrad, or Twain, not Mr. Compassion.

The way he sneered at the teleprompter with that screw you attitude was pure evil. Lecturing the American and Afghan people in that manner has hopefully solidified resolve to remove him from office. He should never get in front of a camera while sundowning. No wonder he spent a week hiding at camp david and then went back.

He was in complete defensive mode....It's all everyone else's fault, not mine. It's like when he'd actually go to campaign events and get all bent out of shape when someone would call him out on something. Now he's in deep, and saying how very proud he is of his son won't deflect anything. I hope the whole Biden family gets what they deserve times ten!

One editorial in the Wall Street Journal points out that not only did Biden think the American public would forgive anything that happened in the pullout ("It worked before so F--- 'em" was one quote from his earlier days re: this) but that HE would be THE President who got us out of Afghanistan, as omething most want but want in an orderly intelligent way without the slaughter.

Circumstances well within his control, have embarrassed him, and shown him, publicly to be a poltroon and a liar. He's looking into the cameras and into the eyes of the reporters, who had assurred him, "they had his back", and seen rabid, slavering feral animals, lunging for his throat. They fear, now, if they don't finally pretend to be "honest and balanced" to be included in the cleansing to come. But it's too little, too late. Judgement Day is coming.

All the descriptions that have been placed on this piece of garbage with this post and others are accurate (and likely only the scratch the surface of this narcissistic psychopath). The fact remains, the people of this country, along with the supposed opposition and apparently, the judicial branch, have in effect legitimized him. Perhaps this will bring him down via impeachment or Article 25 but be careful because another idiot is standing in the wings.

Absolutely. I missed the live broadcast yesterday as I was out touring Newport mansions, but watching the lowlights on Fox & Friends this morning, I was appalled by what I was seeing: a vacant subhuman with no soul vacuously reading words given to him on his teleprompter. This has to be the low point in American presidential history. With Biden we have scraped the bottom of the septic tank. I have been on record here saying that the 25th Amendment would be pointless, because Harris would be worse. Yesterday changed my mind. Dementia Joe needs to go. Now.

Biden was just reading that speech, that the old Obama crew that is really running the White House these days wrote and told Biden to read off a teleprompter. Chances are if you were to ask Biden today about the details of the principle elements of that speech, off the cuff he would not remember and and be able to give clear and comprehensive answers today about what he said yesterday. That’s a big reason why he is at Camp David hoping that the real bad smoke will clear in Afghanistan before he emerges.

History repeats itself. Nixon secured an honorable settlement to end the war in Vietnam. A Democrat congress then refused to honor our commitments and ignored the communists breaking their agreement. All the effort and blood we spent defending South Vietnam was wasted. Now a Democrat government that took power by fraud and holds a razor thin majority has repeated that obscenity by abandoning the people of Afghanistan. Undoubtedly there are many US citizens still left behind and ignored by this regime. That also happened when Iran was lost and many contract employees were left behind unless rescued by civilian security firms. Perhaps this bunch has managed to extricate the embassy staff, unlike the Carter administration.

Biden falsely painted Afghanistan's fighters who stood with Americans as "unwilling to fight." That is a disgusting lie, as Afghanistan has lost over 50,000 soldiers since 2014. That is called blaming the victim. When Joe Biden lost his son, Beau, to brain cancer, dems and republicans mourned with him. I did not see any kind of compassion or emotion from Biden as he read his self-righteous speech. He praised himself for abandoning Afghanistan, the people who stood with us, and millions of dollars worth of military equipment. He left a gift for terrorists and China. Getting out of Afghanistan was a worthy goal. President Trump's plan was tied to conditions on the ground. Biden didn't care about those conditions. He moved ahead without regard for the lives that will be lost there and around the world. He is even more unfit for office than the day he was "elected."

C'mon man! Look at it from Joe's point of view. He started last week minding his own business in Delaware until Jill insisted that he make an appearance in D.C. before heading to a well deserved vacation. Then, horror of horrors, the nasty Taliban trashes his vacation by failing to follow his script for the fall of Afghanistan forcing him to make a trip back to D.C. after only 4 days of relaxation. Thankfully, after a grueling 18 minute speech which BTW 95% of the American people agreed with, he was able to save his vacation days which he would have lost had he not used them. You people just don't understand and are probably potential insurgents.

Joe seeming "cold and heartless," is simply sundown Joe trying to read a teleprompter while also trying to act tough. It really was the best he could do. Sometimes, especially when numbers are written, he seems to give up on the reading part and just wait for the voice in his earpiece to tell him what it is. This speech is as long as Joe can go before giving up on reading altogether.

He flees the White House every single weekend for Delaware or Camp David. He is rarely seen in the company of his co-called advisors or cabinet members. Press conferences are as rare as hen's teeth. No surprise here. I learned everything I needed to know about Xiden during the Clarence Thomas hearings in 1991. Joe was angry in his speech yesterday because he had to interrupt his vacation to make it. The fact that he then went back on vacation tells you exactly how little he cares about anyone but himself. We should not have to wait for impeachment of a resignation. He should be thrown out today for dereliction of duty. And, no, Commie-la will not be any worse because she will be obeying the orders of the same cabal which controls Xiden.

The perfumed princes of the Pentagon with their wokester focus, are operating as if they have little to fear as they make a hash of Afghanistan. After all, Joe Biden has made it clear that nobody's getting fired, for one thng. And with all their consulting contracts and revolving board seats, it probably wouldn't even matter if they did. Why does General Milley still have a job? Biden's actually out gaslighting the public about how great he's doing. One problem, though, is emerging out of that phoniness: Growing anger in the ranks. These leaders no longer have the respect of the troops anymore. Here's the first case, according to the Washington Free Beacon:

His lips say 'no, no,' but his eyes say 'yes, yes.' So goes Joe Biden's trust in the Taliban, something he constantly denies. Here's what Biden said on Aug. 23 to a reporter asking him if he trusted a Taliban chieftain: “I don’t trust anyone, including you, I love you, but there aren’t a lot of people I trust. The Taliban has to take a fundamental decision.” Now there's this to demonstrate what all his flippantly generalized distrust actually means, according to Politico: U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies

That’s when the White House cut off the audio feed.

Giggling her way through Afghanistan questions on the flight over, Kamala Harris touched down in Singapore for the first leg of her Asia trip, supposedly to reassure America's partners and allies that the U.S. has their back. It didn't go well. Supposedly, she's there to reassure America's partners that the U.S. remains committed to them as China grows aggressive in their South China Sea. That's critical now because all eyes are focused on the U.S. fiasco in Afghanistan. Every state in Southeast Asia is asking itself at this minute: Will the U.S. bug out on them just as quickly as it ditched its Afghanistan commitment and left its collaborators in the lurch?

WASHINGTON — It’s called the loneliest job in the world for a reason. Surrounded by everything a superpower can offer and watched by all, President Joe Biden wore the weight of a lonely man as he came to grips in recent days with the deadly end of the American effort in Afghanistan and tried to keep the focus on what, to him, is the bottom line. (Snip) Biden found himself in a real-time crisis that overrides the platitudes he offered when running for the office and in the early months of his presidency. “America is back," he likes to say.

A nation horrified by its first surrender in its nearly 250-year history was further humiliated when Biden refused to go to Dover Air Force Base to pay his respects to the 13 Marines who arrived by casket. (snip) As commander-in-chief, Biden is responsible for those deaths. His poor judgment killed those Marines. He owed it to them to own up to this. He owed it to the families to share their grief. And yes, out of 13 families, I expect someone could make a scene. I expect someone would lash out at him. I expect that someone would make Biden feel very, very bad. But that is part of the job.

Until recently, the practice of medicine was based more on science, less on science fiction. (snip) evidence today has taken a back seat to wishful thinking — or is it an agenda? (snip) This science fiction story begins with the 2019 "virus" and 2020 "vaccine." A selection of the story's chapters include a virus of which the CDC claimed not to possess a reference sample. A vaccine that did not fit the definition of a vaccine. Approval of a vaccine for which the studies had not reached clinically important endpoints.

The public school system in America is in crisis — the worst crisis since the forced bussing and integration issues of the 1970s. Simply put, parents and students have lost faith in the school system to educate. They doubt whether the schools have the best interests of their students at heart. This poisonous doubt is having a tangible effect on enrollment. Despite the fact that public education is free, parents are sending their children to private schools with more reliable, more predictable policies. Enrollment in public schools nationwide declined by 3 percent last year. But it was the numbers for kindergarten enrollment

ere’s the latest word from the most transparent administration ever: Simple question: Why? At this point, the Pentagon is best known for publicly downplaying the threat the Taliban posed for taking over all of Afghanistan, and for greenlighting closing its largest operational base in Central Asia. It’s still purging competent minds but retaining and encouraging its woke drones. Gen. Mark Milley, the 21st-century version of Gen. Custer, still has a job. Biden has lied, or remains unaware, about the fact that our allies are livid at him and questioning whether working with the United States is in their interests anymore.

President Joe Biden urged Louisiana residents to 'pay attention and be prepared' today as Hurricane Ida approaches the US Gulf Coast - Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said today that the storm will be 'one of the strongest hurricanes to hit anywhere in Louisiana since at least the 1850s.'The impending hurricane, currently at a Category 2, could reach a Category 4 designation on the Saffir-Simpson scale by the time it makes landfall Sunday afternoon or evening - the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina - generating winds up to 140MPH and submerging a mass of Louisiana shoreline under several feet of rainfall. One of the Marine Corps principles of leadership is to accept responsibility for your actions. (snip) If you think anyone will be held to account over this utter Afghan debacle, consider this: In 1999, Amendment #388 to the Defense appropriations bill passed the U.S. Senate (described on page S5891 of the Congressional Record — Senate for May 25, 1999). The purpose of this amendment was to posthumously restore the rank and promote both Admiral Husband Kimmel and General Walter Short, the top Navy and Army Commanders at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.
