How the Brits Did It -Here’s why American conservatives should pay attention to the recent special election in Hartlepool, United Kingdom: The British Conservative Party has modernized and mobilized itself to win a parliamentary constituency that the Labour Party had held for nearly 60 years; indeed, the Conservative candidate won the seat on May 7 by more than 23 points. Now that’s a story worth paying attention to, with an eye toward our replicating it here. The parallels between American conservatives and British conservatives are strong and more recently even stronger, as the two parties have taken a populist, pro-worker, anti-globalist turn.

Never imagine that the British Conservative party is....conservative. They are a definite leftist party, just a tiny bit less full-on Communist than the Labor Party.

Given the latest reports on the Ups and Downs
and the infighting in the Party, we're uncertain
that any positive messages will be forthcoming from
the Republicans.

After the commie Labour Party has almost destroyed GB, why wouldn't anyone vote for a conservative?

So, us ignorant savages need to learn from our betters in England.
FTA:"For instance, when he talks about more spending for healthcare, he means the National Health Service (NHS), the cradle-to-grave health system that was first put in place by the Labour Party back in 1948. "
NO! We got rid of the Brit overlords in 1776, and we are happy to be shed of them. And their rotten "free medical care" is a BAD IDEA, and it does not work well. We don't want it here.

Trump has already shown how it's done. He won in a landslide despite four years of relentless attacks and lies by the Luciferian media, not to mention all of the deep state operatives and traitorous alphabet agencies. We don't need to look to "the Brits."
We simply need to root out all the corruption, especially the sex-trafficking black mailers, so we can return to honest elections and principled, decent judges. The crime of the century that took place in November 2020, out in the open, in front of the whole world, needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

#2 The same can be said for the republican party.
As is the case with the FBI, I am not at all certain that it can be repaired.
I think it is time to vacate it and start anew, lest the entrenched "powers that be" manage to maintain control.
One need only look to recent double down comments by George W and Lizzy, to understand that the reins will have to be pulled from their hands.

Whatever you think of the article, click on the link about Rep. Jim Banks' memo and agenda. They are a great guideline for the GOP and fairly detailed, not hot air. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gop-memo-embrace-blue-collar-support-condemn-minuscule-minority

FTA - "Moreover, by now every Republican and every conservative should be convinced that elections have consequences and that the idea of bystanding as opposed to voting—or futilely protesting after the ballots are cast—is a loser."
As soon as some house cleaning within the pubbie party is completed, the party can emerge as the party of choice. America, as founded, is currently on life support and while the demise of the dim party is imminent, the pubbies political future is a bit cloudy. The pubbie must pull it together. They must. But, Trump can't do it all by himself.

Read part of the article and quit. It seemed Pinkerton was saying we have to convert to socialism (National Health Care) to win. So we have to lose before we can win??

I couldn't believe what I was reading. Andrew Breibart, God rest his soul, must be spinning in his grave.
This clown actually asserts that in order for the conservative movement to thrive in the USA we should adopt a Marxist, heinous, ruinous healthcare system like the Brits? Who the he-l is this guy? If you are an old Brit in England, and need surgery or some other life saving procedure, forget it baby. They do the Obama thing and give you a pill, or a wheel chair if you have a degenerative condition like needing a hip replacement. Forget running a marathon with that new hip, your future is a wheel chair baby.
We have gone down the rabbit hole when Breibart has this kind of crap on its site. And Boris Johnson is someone that needs to be emulated? He has kept his country in lockdown, he supports cancel culture, and let's never forget, even after Trump helped this guy out, he turned on Trump faster than Liz Cheney.
Who is ever running Breibart, needs to reassess their business model and channel the wonderful and very much missed Andrew.

No we don't have to be like the Brits. Our corruption is different from their corruption. Being less communist is still a communist the conservatives are only less communist and woke than the other British chumps. No thanks this sounds like a poll taken by Fred Luntz.

It appears many here did not read the article through. Nor do they understand the basis for electoral politics, i.e. TO GET ELECTED WITH THE MOST VOTES. This article is not about Britain's NHS, it's about how "conservatives", real and otherwise, might forge a majority at the polls in these woke times. (The NHS is like Social Security in the US in that what Conservative running for office calls for its abolishment? Does that make them all communists?)
Electoral politics is not about "purity." It's about forging a coalition of votes sufficient to gain a majority. There is a craft to it, with a touch of art and bullshtuff. And Republican/conservatives, particularly in urban and even now suburban constituencies, are not very good at it. And I suspect the reason is clear...they must maintain sufficient "purity." Otherwise they are Communists/socialists and must be rejected by those "real Conservatives." Next!
FTA: "Labour has forsaken its communitarian and socially conservative roots and focuses now instead on a 'poisonous brew' of wokedom and political correctness. Furthermore, it’s bulked up with 'middle-class, Guardian-reading bohemians and pseudo-intellectuals … pursuing an uber-liberal, youth-obsessed, London-centric agenda.'"
Substitute Democrat Party, NYT-reading/MSNBC-watching, and Washington and it's pretty close.

The Depublican Party is a zombie party. They blew there chance at redemption for the final time on January 6.
President Trump can promote who he wants, what he wants and any/everything else, but it won’t change one fundamental.
There are so many of us who are so disgusted with them that we simply won’t support them, one for them, or frankly, care about them. I’ll write in my vote or will vote for a sane, third party candidate.

Yes, #17, I stopped reading when the advise to support more "cradle to grave health care" came up. At that point, I am DONE. I will NOT support that, and anyone telling me to do that can plan on me NOT hearing anything beyond that point.

Breitbart has undergone an America Last transformation. They turned on President Donald Trump on a dime the moment they fired Bannon. What happened? They have nothing on THE BIG LIE or the patriots doing the Arizona Audit for America. Breitbart News despises Tump, and we love him because he made America wealthy again and presided over peace and prosperity. Gateway Pundit, Warroom, Consevative Treehouse all see that the Arizona Audit is what counts now.
ObamaCare? Nein Danke.

The medical care in the United States is the best in the world and it's made that way through free-market capitalism and competition. If there's ANY error in that approach, it comes from Federal government intrusion into the process. Take away all the inanity of the Federal intrusion and we would see advances in medicine that would amaze the world. It's all there, but the FDA/NIAH/CDC/etc. all keep regulations in place to control the advance, something the Constitution does NOT grant the Federal. People will often say that without Federal "Oversight" there would be too many cases of dangerous drugs going into the mainstream, like the Thalidomide babies, etc. Notice I said "intrusion" not "oversight" above. Oversight is fine, but NO intrusion! Well, guess what? The Thalidomide drug was distributed within the USA on a clinical trial by... greedy corporations? Nope, by the FDA. Yeah, they never make mistakes do they? So, no. As long as pharmaceutical companies can be taken to court and sued for their mistakes (and they clearly can), then what does the Federal government do to prevent such lawsuits being needed? If "big pharma" can gain prosecutorial immunity by playing by the rules of the FDA, then big pharma should WANT such protection, but the FDA offers no such immunity, so what the hell does it actually do, apart from obstruct, deny, and provide insider information to politicians, family and staff of politicians on advance results of public information that will cause stock prices to swoon, or soar? Yes, the FDA is more properly acronym'd "ATM".
Open up medical research and let it run at top speed, and let's see what we can accomplish. I'll bet the advances will be 96% positive to 1-2% negative. In what country would you rather live? The one where diseases are eradicated at very low cost, or the one dependent on European scientist discoveries?

The problem with our healthcare system is that it encourages men and women to adopt a lifestyle that qualifies them or their dependents for Medicaid or highly subsidized Medicare to the detriment of those who try to avoid government dependancy.
For example, intentional no father families, grandma raising the grandkids or dodging work to qualify for benefits. This has led to disastrous social ills that continue to get worse. Maybe Britain has figured out how to avoid these problems, but I don’t think so. Unlike here public discussion is suppressed when it comes to government policies and programs that have created subsidized classes.
Unfortunately the elderly on Social Security who worked diligently their whole lives to build this country are seeing the wealth they helped create diverted to able bodied young people who have contributed little or nothing but who reap enormous free financial benefits and will vote for whomever keeps it going. Maybe its a great way to get elected, but it has created a moral and social disaster.
