A longtime donor and friend of Democrat Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer now faces no fewer than 16 felony charges related to misuse of funds.
Interestingly, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced the charges, proving that even a broken clock — or a corrupt Democrat — is right twice a day. “Today, we allege Fay Beydoun sought and received a $20 million 'Michigan enhancement grant' from the state Legislature, operated a criminal enterprise to use those funds for personal expenses and her own enrichment, and lied repeatedly when reporting how she used those funds,” Nessel accused. It seems as if this was a corrupt give-and-take, where Beydoun received state-approved funds after supporting

Gov. Gavin Newsom is rolling out a taxpayer-backed freebie for new parents, promising hundreds of diapers for every baby born in California under a new statewide program.
The Democrat announced Friday that the state will partner with nonprofit Baby2Baby to hand out 400 free diapers to families leaving participating hospitals, starting this summer. The initiative, dubbed "Golden State Start," is being billed as a first-in-the-nation effort to ease the high cost of raising a child.
"Every baby born in California deserves a healthy start in life," Newsom said in a statement, touting the plan as part of his broader push to tackle affordability. Under the program, hospitals will distribute the

Rep. Don Davis (D., N.C.) has built his political brand around his identity as an eastern North Carolinian, frequently touting his local roots in the state’s only swing district. Yet 90 percent of the individual donations to the Democrat came from out of state last quarter.
"If you from [sic] eastern North Carolina, which I am, we know about huntin’, we know about fishin', we know about some good barbeque," Davis told reporters on March 3. He offered nearly identical remarks in an interview with Spectrum News several months earlier and pushed a similar message during his first run for office. "I am a 5th-generation eastern North Carolinian,"

As we all know, the political leaders of the Democrat Party have absolutely no conscience whatsoever. Most politicians, around the world and in America (on both sides of the aisle), fall into that category, but Democrats are especially guilty of it. They lie, they propagandize, they demagogue, they cheat, they steal, they do whatever they believe is necessary to obtain and hold the power they lust for. It doesn’t matter what they need to do, how immoral it is, how egregious it is, how harmful it is to fellow Americans—if it puts them in power, they’ll do it. No conscience whatsoever. And they’ll hope sufficient Americans

Administration officials are quietly using debt collection companies to enforce huge fines on migrants who have ignored judges’ orders to leave the United States.
Since January 2025, the Department of Homeland Security has levied fines against at least 65,000 migrants for at least $36 billion. Nationwide, roughly 1.5 million migrants have been ordered home but have not left.
Lawyers opposing the program will ask a Massachusetts judge on May 13 to halt the fines.
AZMirror reported the debt-collection notice sent to a landscaper who crossed into the United States 20 years ago:

GREENBELT, Md. — A former senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci proclaimed on Friday he’s “innocent” of criminal charges that he conspired to stop investigations into the origins of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. David Morens, 78, pleaded not guilty to five counts before Magistrate Judge Ajmel Ahsen Quereshi in Maryland federal court during an arraignment hearing Friday with his defense attorneys Timothy Belevetz and Morgan Taylor.
Morens, who faces up to 51 years in federal prison if convicted, told The Post, “I’m innocent” ahead of the hearing while seated in the courthouse lobby — and carried on calmly solving what appeared to be a Sudoku puzzle. Asked in the hearing

The hammer is finally coming down on those who think they can skip out on their legal and moral obligations to their own children while enjoying the luxury of international travel.
The U.S. State Department announced Friday that it has officially begun the process of revoking the passports of thousands of Americans who owe significant amounts of unpaid child support.
Starting this week, the Department will begin revoking the passports of thousands of Americans who owe substantial unpaid child support, with an initial focus on those racking up $100,000 or more in arrears.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has ordered that the “Texas American Muslim University at Dallas” immediately cease operations, saying it has been illegally offering higher education programs in Texas without state authorization. The “TexAM University at Dallas” or “Texas American Muslim University” (TexAM) has been marketing itself as a new university for Muslim students. The institution has been claiming to offer STEM programs alongside mandatory Islamic studies. According to a letter sent by the coordinating board, TexAM has never received the required Certificate of Authority from the state to operate or grant degrees in Texas under Chapter 61 of the Texas Education Code.

Attorneys for the man accused of attempting to kill President Donald Trump on April 25 during the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton hotel slammed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro while demanding she recuse herself from the case. The nine-page motion to disqualify, filed on Thursday, argues that Pirro, along with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and other unnamed DOJ officials, have a conflict of interest that should bar them from participation in prosecuting Cole Allen. It further says that the entire U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, which is currently prosecuting the case, should be disqualified.

Migrants quitting asylum claims and volunteering to leave the US have increased at least seven-fold under President Trump — with the administration touting the increase as a success for the rule of law, but critics arguing it’s a sign detention practices have gotten out of hand.
More than 80,000 “voluntary departure” orders were issued by US immigration judges between Jan. 2025 and March 2026 — a more than 600% increase from the 11,400 issued during the last 15 months of former President Joe Biden’s term, according to numbers from the Vera Institute of Justice reviewed by the Washington Post.

The Virginia Supreme Court's ruling striking down Democrats’ costly redistricting push sparked an uproar on social media over the massive sum the party spent to pass the now-defunct congressional map.
Virginians for Fair Elections, the main pro-redistricting group, raised north of $64 million in support of the Democratic-friendly gerrymander that could have netted the party four GOP-held seats in November’s midterm elections. Nearly $40 million of that came from an outside spending group aligned with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., who was heavily involved in the effort to redraw
