Team Trump cooks up a new bright idea

Team Trump is finally going straight for the pressure point nobody in the political class ever wants to talk about… remittances. And if the plan works the way it’s designed, the gravy train that’s been draining American communities for decades is about to go belly up. Before we get into the details of what President Trump wants to do and why, we need to talk about what “remittances” actually are. Because most Americans don’t realize just how massive this system is or how much of our economy has been very quietly bleeding out thanks to it. Remittances are simple: illegals come here, take jobs, use our schools, hospitals, roads, and services,

Meanwhile small, American towns like the one I grew up in, lose factories, lose jobs, lose money and slowly turn into dilapidated, poverty-stricken ghost towns that were once vibrant Edens, the ideal places to live and raise families. All gone. Thanks a lot, pos politicians.

Good if they actually do it and it is not just BS. Now put some real teeth into preventing people and companies from hiring and providing housing for illegal invaders. No work, no free stuff, no place to live…no more un-American criminal invaders. Until these things happen, they are just blowing smoke.

Not just taxing remittances but blocking the transfer or seizing the money as illegally earned, since the illegal aliens are in the country illegally and not able to legally work.

Didn't realize it until I just looked it up, but the USPS quietly terminated the Dinero Seguro program last October - before the election. Anyone could securely wire up to $2,000 per day through the Post Office to thousands of participating Latin American bank branches, from Mexico to the tip of Argentina.

How long will it take an activist Democrat nominated Federal Judge to rule that Trump has no such power to discriminate against illegal aliens in this proposed program and must stop immediately. You have to ask why over the years haven’t the wimpy congressional Republicans passed congressional legislation to stop illegal aliens from sending up to 56 billion dollars a year out of the USA economy back to their home countries?

This is what I voted for. Now if we can just get the progressives/liberals/socialists/communists out of the way. Illegals do not belong here. We do not owe you anything. We cannot throw open our border to anyone and everyone who wants to come here for the "free stuff". NYC is about to find out nothing is free.

Any legitimate transfer service is not going to accept the risk of transferring money to then have the feds come in and confiscate it. The service is no out that money. WHY didn't someone think of this 40 years ago?

You can always tell when it is payday at the places where illegals work where I live. The local Walmart is swarmed with non English speaking people, the produce section of the store is cleaned out of tomatoes, avacados, cilantro, peppers, tortillias ,and other "ethnic" staples. The other department swamped is the used to be the service desk where the money transfers were completed. Our Walmart now has a seperate area specifically for money transfers away from the regular service desk to be able to handle the line. Money transfers must be a big business to warrant it's own area in the store.

The remittances are only a piece of the total damage. The services that the illegals and their families receive for free equal or surpass any money they may earn from working. If they get SNAP, EBT, MEDICAID, etc, for their large family they probably don't work at all. Then there all of the side hustles they create, drugs, prostitution and violent crime. There is nothing good coming out of Mexico so it's likely that employers and politicians are getting a piece of the pie in addition to the obvious. No wonder the CIA stamped this report Confidential. It's highly embarrassing.

Democrats in Washington have spent the last two years celebrating the Inflation Reduction Act’s drug-pricing provisions. And, yes, lower prices and a $2,000 out-of-pocket cap make for good headlines, but beneath that victory lap sits a part of the health-care system almost no one thinks about: the pharmacies that serve nursing-home residents. Their stability determines whether millions of elderly Americans receive the medications they rely on every day. Those pharmacies are the weak point in the IRA rollout, and the pressure on them is building. Long-term-care (LTC) pharmacies aren’t retail storefronts. They don’t rely on walk-in traffic, and they don’t have the product mix that helps chains absorb financial shocks.

Americans with concerns about the influx of unvetted “migrants” have another example to worry about — and another potential future to be infuriated over. The venerable German tradition of Christmas markets — festive villages blossoming in city centers for the seasonal celebration — is taking a dark turn with the installation of massive security measures in the wake of deadly attacks by Muslims in recent years. And as U.K. conservative firebrand Tommy Robinson put it: “Christmas market in Germany is starting to look like a war zone.” It isn’t hard to see what he’s talking about. While some churches resisted the calls to leftism, a fair number of them did not, leading to a rise in hyper-progressive churches that seem more interested in the rainbow of the LGBT movement than the crimson blood of Jesus Christ.
