TOKYO — President Trump announced Toyota has promised $10 billion in investments toward new manufacturing plants in the US — urging people to “go out and buy a Toyota” in a wide-ranging speech to sailors aboard the USS George Washington Tuesday in Tokyo Bay.
Trump, who is making trade and economic deals a top goal of his three-nation regional tour, said that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi told him earlier in the day that the world’s largest car company would pour funds into American manufacturing plants.

The attorneys general of 24 states filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court supporting the Trump administration’s attempt to stop the invasion-through-legal-loophole of “birthright citizenship.”
Attorneys general Jonathan Skrmetti, R-Tenn., and Brenna Bird, R-Iowa, led the charge alongside nearly every Republican state attorney general in the country with the 37-page brief asking the nation’s high court to side with the Trump administration’s argument that the 14th Amendment clearly does not allow for any person born on American soil to automatically become an American citizen.

India’s government is drafting a bill to expand and accelerate the already huge migration of Indians into jobs throughout the developed world, including white collar careers in the Fortune 500.
The “Overseas Mobility Bill” will help the Indian government train its young people amid recommendations from foreign companies, negotiate labor deals with foreign governments, and help bind overseas Indians to their home countries, according to the English-language Deccan Herald newspaper, which adds:
[Training] young Indians in the future of jobs overseas, negotiating better working conditions for [Indian] workers, and opening new pathways for [Indian] migration will be crucial. The law should empower young Indian migrants to strengthen their leverage and

In September 2017, a photograph surfaced on social media showing activist Linda Sarsour kneeling on a Brooklyn sidewalk beside campaign volunteers for City Council candidate Khader El-Yateem.
Among them was a young organizer named Zohran Mamdani.
That image, posted on El-Yateem’s campaign page, marked the beginning of a political collaboration that would soon extend far beyond a local election. Eight years later, Mamdani — now 34 — is positioned to seek the mayoralty of New York City.
His ascent, according to a Fox News Digital investigation, is the result of a coordinated network of political and religious organizations that have advanced candidates sharing socialist and Islamist ideologies.

One aspect of the government shutdown that probably wasn’t anticipated by Chuck Schumer and other Democrats, is that it has revealed to the public just how many people receive food stamps. Years ago, when the program was still called ‘food stamps’ it was seen as something that struggling families might use temporarily to get through a hard time. Then it was re-branded as the ‘SNAP’ program and destigmatized. People were encouraged to enroll. Now there are many more people using the program, many who probably don’t even really need it. The longer the shutdown goes on, the more reports there are about this and it’s stunning to taxpayers

Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin.
Within the first two weeks of the ongoing government shutdown, agency heads reportedly sent permanent layoff notices to about 4,000 federal employees under the guidance of Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought. But compared to the private sector, this is a proverbial drop in the bucket.
The partial lapse in government funding has dragged on for 27 days now as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and 44 other senators continue to block the “clean” government funding measure that the House passed in September. As a result of the funding lapse, Vought says that 10,000 federal employees could ultimately

A group of left-wing congresswomen enjoyed some fun in the sun during a glitzy junket to the U.S. Virgin Islands in June—with donors picking up the check—records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.
Among the attendees of the "Women's Retreat Weekend" at the Westin St. Thomas Beach were OG squad members like Reps. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) and Ayanna Pressley (D., Mass.), as well as rising progressive stars like Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas). A flyer for the event also shows Reps. AT&T has quietly expanded its foreign workforce while securing a multimillion-dollar federal contract intended to bolster U.S. national security infrastructure.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security awarded AT&T a 10-year, $146 million contract last year to maintain and expand emergency communications systems such as the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service and Wireless Priority Service, according to a September 2024 company press release. The award extends AT&T’s long-running partnership with DHS into next-generation 5G networks.
At the same time, federal immigration data shows the telecom giant has continued to rely on foreign labor. According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) H-1B Data Hub, 388 H-1B workers were approved

For two generations, Bob’s family didn’t just work for FedEx; they were a part of the Collierville community that the company built. His father, a Collierville native, retired as a respected FedEx pilot. Bob followed him into the company, securing a white-collar technical role and the promise of the same stable, prosperous life in the town Parade magazine once named “Best Main Street” in America.
He remembers a different Collierville. A town of just over 10,000, where kids left their bikes unlocked outside the gas station and a trip to the store always meant running into someone you knew. “It was the type of community where…

While the government remains shut down because Democrats demand free healthcare for illegal immigrants, President Trump has ordered a sweeping audit of federal programs to ensure that other taxpayer-funded benefits are not being distributed to illegal aliens.
The order encompasses at least 28 major programs across multiple federal agencies. Housing audits include the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and public housing.
The Department of Health and Human Services is reviewing 13 programs, including Head Start, Community Health Centers, Medicaid, and the Title X Family Planning Program, as well as a range of behavioral health and substance abuse grants. Nutrition and welfare

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) owned stocks in at least 25 companies that she did not disclose to the public during her first congressional run in 2022, even though she'd quietly admitted to the holdings the previous year as a Texas state legislator. Crockett also didn't reveal the stock holdings once she got to Washington in 2023.
The far-left firebrand's impressive financial portfolio—according to records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon through a public records request—clashes with her image as an eco-warrior and beacon of progressivism. Further, Crockett, a self-described civil rights attorney, was an active stakeholder in the cannabis business—seeking unsuccessfully to open marijuana dispensaries in Ohio—even as she represented,
