The Democrats Just Got Devastating News
About the 2026 Midterms

Original Article

For months, Democrats and their allies in the media have been clinging to the idea that Donald Trump’s underwater approval ratings would somehow guarantee them a triumphant showing in the upcoming midterms. But on Monday, CNN’s own numbers-cruncher threw cold water on that narrative, reminding viewers that Trump’s poll numbers don’t magically translate into Democratic victories. CNN anchor Kate Bolduan asked Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten what the data really shows about where things stand politically. And boy, Enten didn’t sugarcoat things at all for the Democrats.

Republicans are probably being artificially held back from broader approval because a lot of middle of the road people find Trump off-putting because he is too bold for their tastes. However, dems are on the verge of becoming not-a-party as their public support collapses and their political machine, including the media and deep state, is crumbling as bad as the dems themselves. They have become seen as not only wrong but also incompetent and the most obvious of their members are more obnoxious than Trump. Here's the problem the dems face. If an equal fight, lets say dems get 50 votes and Republicans get 50 votes. Then each party has 50/100 = 50% of the total, a close election. But supposed 5 votes switch to Republican and 5 votes for the dems just don't show up. Then Republicans win with 55 of 95 total votes. That's 58% a solid win. And if the dems really collapse and 10 votes switch to Republican and 10 votes for the dems just don't show up. Then Republicans win with 60 of 90 total votes. That's 67%, a blowout. It matters that Republicans get better support but it also matters if dem support doesn't show up because the party is made up of idiots.

At this point, the dems aren't really worried - plenty of time to do their own paraphrase of John Paul Jones: 'We have not yet BEGUN to lie!'

One major problem that Republicans have is that many simply do not vote during off year elections. Trump wants to have an off year convention to turn out the vote. Good plan.

Dislike of Donald Trump's personality has lost friends and family for many of us but when a simple comparison is made between his first six months of honest, pro-American accomplishment and the entire four years of the Biden catastrophe, there is no rational reason to vote democrat. "But the mean tweets" is a childish phrase that was used in place of any reasonable excuse. The democrats are rudderless and the party is populated by sick people like (add your list here) so what we need to do for 2026 and 2028 is simply follow Margaret Thatcher's advice "Don't go wobbly."

President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of US troops to Portland, Oregon, authorising use of "full force" if needed, to suppress protests targeting immigration detention centres. Trump said he was "directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland". He claimed that the move would help protect "any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists," adding on Truth Social: "I am also authorizing Full Force, if necessary." The announcement drew pushback from Democratic lawmakers, who said there was no need for federal troops to be deployed to the city.

An Iowa school district superintendent living in the United States illegally who also faces weapons charges was arrested Friday, authorities said. Ian Andre Roberts, who heads the Des Moines Public Schools—the largest school district in the state—was taken into custody on a fugitive warrant. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents pursued Roberts after he sped away, authorities said. They later found his vehicle abandoned, and an Iowa State Patrol K-9 was called in to help search for him.

The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to allow the Trump administration keep frozen billions of dollars in foreign aid that is set to expire next week, the latest turn in a lengthy legal saga over the congressionally appropriated funds. The emergency intervention came at the administration’s urging to lift a lower court’s ruling ordering it to spend $4 billion in funds approved for aid programs by Sept. 30, its expiration date. It indefinitely extends the pause on U.S. District Judge Amir Ali’s injunction that was put in place earlier this month by Chief Justice John Roberts, who handles emergency appeals from the nation’s capital by default,

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s surprise gathering of hundreds of generals and admirals in Virginia next week is being called so he can describe the administration’s reinvention of the Department of Defense as the “Department of War” and outline new standards for military personnel, according to half a dozen people familiar with the planning. “It’s meant to be a show of force of what the new military now looks like under the president,” a White House official told CNN. The meeting is expected to resemble “a pep rally” where Hegseth will underscore the importance of the “warrior ethos” and outline a new vision

As you may have seen, someone fired a hail of bullets at a kids' baseball tournament in Katy, Texas, hitting a coach as he led his team in a pre-game prayer and sending children and their coaches scrambling for cover. The Operation Mockingbird media mudpuppies suggested the gunfire was "target practice" from about 600-700 yards away, or perhaps even just some hunters not being careful. Watch this video and let me know if this sounds like hunters or distant target practice: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has charged two men for the fusillade of bullets they fired at dozens of kids and adults at the Rac baseball complex.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office has declined to prosecute a woman who left a pro-life activist bloodied during a street interview in New York City earlier this year, according to attorneys from the Thomas More Society. New York police arrested Brianna J. Rivers, 30, in April on one count of second-degree assault after she sucker punched activist Savannah Craven Antao during a street interview on abortion. The attack was caught on camera as Craven Antao asked Rivers questions about abortion on behalf of the pro-life organization Live Action.

This week featured yet another violent attack on Immigration and Customs Enforcement. On Wednesday morning, three detainees of ICE were shot in an attack that appears to have targeted Dallas-based ICE agents. One of the detainees died, and the others are in critical condition. The suspect, identified as Joshua Jahn, was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Law enforcement relayed that, like the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk, the shooter in Dallas inscribed political messages on the bullets or their casings. The messages were “anti-ICE” in nature. This has to stop. It’s part of a very disturbing trend. In July, eleven left-wing agitators ambushed an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas,

Two days ago, Chuck Schumer threatened Donald Trump with a good time. Now, the White House threatens to make the good time permanent. Literally. The deadline for a government shutdown is fast approaching, and Schumer tried to play hardball this week. He and Hakeem Jeffries demanded a meeting with Trump to negotiate, which Trump initially accepted, but canceled after the pair demanded a massive list of concessions before the meeting took place. Schumer then told the press that Trump was "chicken" and that any shutdown would be his fault -- even though the House had already passed the clean CR that Schumer had demanded when Joe Biden was president-ish.

The Center for Strategic & International Studies has a new report out which is making headlines this week. The gist of the report is that, for the first time in decades left-wing terror attacks have outpaced right-wing terror attacks in the United States. The nature of domestic terrorism has undergone a striking reversal this year, new research indicates: For the first time in more than 30 years, left-wing attacks are outnumbering those from the far right. The reason that left-wing incidents this year have outpaced right-wing incidents is twofold, the researchers said. First, the number of incidents of right-wing terror plummeted this year to levels

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned California on Friday that his department would withhold hundreds of millions of dollars in federal highway funding from California if it continues issuing commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to illegal aliens and other ineligible foreigners. Duffy's threat stems from an emergency rule the Department of Transportation rolled out imposing stricter rules on states regarding CDLs, prohibiting them from issuing the licenses to foreigners unless they hold employment-based visas and can pass a federal immigration status check. The rule came in response to an ongoing audit that revealed "a catastrophic pattern of states issuing licenses illegally to foreign drivers"—particularly in California—
