“Prove me Wrong” Charlie Kirk’s
Final Challenge on Free Speech

Yesterday, the United States entered a new and chilling stage of what I have called the “age of rage.” After two attempted assassinations of President Donald Trump, leading conservative leader Charlie Kirk, father of two, was gunned down at a campus event at Utah Valley University. I learned the news while I was in Prague to speak on my book,“The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage” and the growing attacks on free speech around the world. I never imagined that I would be speaking about Charlie’s murder and what it represents for free speech.

"need to do is be willing to get shot" And the left followed through and killed him for nothing more than that he politely disagreed with them. Look over the last decade and you can see the left and their violent rage for anyone who doesn't go along with their socialist/Marxist ideas.

When do we make them go on the run? If all the new government 'reformers' don't prosecute the sanctuary city crowd, if they don't RICO the dark money and media, If they don't put the creeps at FBI, CIA, etc. in prison, they will not only lose this country for good, and doom all of us, they will have spit on their oath, and failed miserably at doing their job.

No doubt anyone today who is a prominent conservative who goes around doing what Charlie Kirk did, making use of the First Amendment provided free speech to prove his or her point, must have a large amount of first class personal security in place when they appear in any public venue to keep the leftist “nut jobs” at bay, as the leftists are not about to stop preaching violence and be driven out of political power by allowing such free speech to go unchallenged.

#3, Not just preaching, but actually murdering. The DemoRoids who keep preaching violence against the right, and the lame stream media, aka the DemoRoid's propaganda arm all have some responsibility in this murder, Tyler was already unstable, and the ceaseless violent rhetoric pushed him over the edge. This doesn't absolve him of any blame, but the rest of the hate filled left (but then I repeat myself) also needs to be held accountable.

Is the answer turning the other cheek and taking it like Gandhi. Or hit back by murdering their advocates so it becomes too costly for them? The answer should be obvious but it is not at this point.

The "age of rage" is something that has been around. Cain and Abel? Look at how many assassinations there have been in America. I firmly believe jealousy is the instigator. I want to repeat someone's opinion about the political spectrum. Rather than being linear where the extremes are at opposite ends, it is more circular where the extremes converge at a point 180 degrees from the political center. Given that, there is a very fine line between political extremes. Sad. I know I have my opinion of what that very fine line is but. . .

It is not WE the people who love our country that has brewed this pot of rage...it is the lefties who are so overwhelmed with raged that their ideas are being overturned by people like Charlie and now his wife...she was fantastic yesterday...giving her speech...Charlie would have been proud...or shall I say...HE WAS...he will always be with her and his kids....

I have noticed that many of the people holding leftist views when asked why they hold them can not support them. In many cases they were told them and accepted them without question. It never occurs to them that they have been feed misinformation or outright lies. One of the consistent lies told about Charlie Kirk was that he was guilty of spreading hate speech about those who disagreed with him. This was never done by Charlie. He supported his point of view with polite reason, he did not make comments about the other person.

Rather than endless navel-gazing, I have some suggestions for concrete action... 1.) Start enforcing laws against incitement.... something we haven't been doing for a number of years. 2.) Declare Antifa an active domestic terrorist organization and its members as active enemy combatants against the USA... and deal with them as such. 3.) Building on #1: Pass a "3 strikes" and out law against people who become recidivists in incitement. After the 3rd time, it will be life in prison in the U.S. or deportation to any country willing to take them combined with loss of citizenship and being barred from ever entering the USA again. Number 3 is a sop to our humanity. No, we're not going put offenders into concentration camps and work them to death (like the actual Nazis did). And it will be their problem -- not ours -- to find that other country that's willing to take them. My guess is some will in the immediate years following enactment of the law. Later on, those countries will figure out that they really don't want these people and they'll stop. The societal problem will resolve itself when aspiring inciters see lots of people -- some very old -- who forfeited their lives by advocating for the murder of others.

Charlie’s assassin rage probably came from his girlfriend being a transgenic male. Those hormones are seriously affecting Gay brains. It is time to declare Antifa a Terrorist Organization for what they do every day in Portland. The FBI was so powerful against J6ers but so forgiving of the leftist agitators.

I watched Steve Bannon's Saturday program on RAV and they showed Tommy Robinson's million men & women march in London protesting the grooming and raping of innocent British girls by immigrant invaders of their country. I had to smile when I saw some people in the crowd carrying signs with pictures of Charlie Kirk on them, and they were shouting, "Char-lee, Char-lee". Different causes but same theme - Charlie and Tommy both love their country and want the innocent protected from those who do not.

Charlie Kirk and I had a lot we didn’t agree on, but he used to bring me on his show. Unlike his leftist haters, the man who was martyred this week in Utah for spreading his conservative beliefs with vigor and love wasn’t afraid to engage with views that contradicted his own. The opposite: He sought them out. In an age of podcasters ensconced in the safety of their home studios, Charlie Kirk met young people where they were, on college campuses, and invited them to debate. This is how you fight polarization. This is how you fight violence.

As the nation grapples with the news that conservative activist and commentator Charlie Kirk was gunned down in cold blood while conducting one of his signature campus debates at Utah Valley University, it is of paramount importance for our political leaders both to recognize the political moment we are in and to try to defuse a potentially combustible situation. While conservatives will be tempted to demonize whoever the deluded shooter turns out to be, and liberals will undoubtedly call for more ineffective gun control legislation, neither reaction can hope to lead to anything productive.

Charlie Kirk, a lifelong advocate for free speech, the leader of the nation’s preeminent conservative youth organization, and a beloved confidant of the first family, was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon while speaking with students at Utah Valley University. President Trump confirmed the news in a post on Truth Social, writing that Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, “was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.” Flags at the White House were lowered to half-staff in his honor. Kirk was 31. He is survived by his wife and two young children.

Get ready for more Zohran Mamdani-like candidates -- avowed socialists -- to soar to popularity across New York state and the rest of the U.S. We the public have ceded control of education to the far left. The result is a curriculum that never mentions the brutal consequences of socialist experiments in Eastern Europe, Latin America and elsewhere, and instead brainwashes students with a fairytale definition of "socialism" devoid of any historical context. Of course young New York voters are troubled by the unaffordability of the city. But that alone does not explain the appeal of Mamdani's socialist promise. Numerous polls show socialism is gaining traction among younger voters. They're being brainwashed

For the past half century, California has been the driving force in American technology, culture and political development. After all, it was Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan who led the last great resurgence on the Right from the state, and Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown who largely created the green-oriented, high-tech progressive underpinnings of the Clinton and Obama regimes, even if he never reached the presidency himself. Today, history may be repeating itself, but in a way that – to paraphrase Mark Twain – no longer rhymes. Under Nixon, Reagan and Brown, the California connection was a golden one; California was the epitome of American success, the dream cubed.

In the last few days, the horrific stabbing death of Iryna Zarutska by oft-arrested offender Decarlos Brown Jr. on a Charlotte, NC, commuter train finally broke into the national conversation. National media — aside from this newspaper — studiously ignored the heinous Aug. 22 attack, while Wikipedia’s editors did their best to airbrush it. Why? Because they run interference for Democrats, and the story is political nitroglycerine. Not only did this brutal murder of a white woman by a black man turn the Democrats’ racial narrative on its head, it underscored and boosted President Trump’s messaging on urban crime.

"I want to be clear that, like, law enforcement isn't to prevent crime. Law enforcement solves crime, OK? That is what they are supposed to do. They are supposed to solve crimes, not necessarily prevent them from happening per se," she said.

After a shift at Zepeddie's Pizzeria in Charlotte, North Carolina, Iryna Zarutska boarded the train and quickly made a decision where to sit. Did she think about her safety? Did she fear sitting in front of a Black man with dreadlocks and a face twisted into worried knots? Or did she find a seat far away from him, just on a hunch? The role of prayer in civil society has emerged in the wake of the Annunciation Catholic School shooting, and this may be a blessing of sorts amidst the tragedy. This is because scientific research has shown time and again that religious faith and the practice of prayer check pathologies and improve quality of life on almost every level. However, politicians and commentators belittled “thoughts and prayers” as ineffective in preventing other mass killings. Others, from Vice President JD Vance to Bishop Robert Barron to Franciscan University, were quick to emphasize prayer’s importance in moments of anguish and darkness. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security even tweeted, “Pray without ceasing.”

Political assassinations in America are usually committed by nutjobs. Lee Harvey Oswald was a communism-sympathizing loser. James Earl Ray was a career criminal who copped a guilty plea to avoid the death penalty and then falsely maintained his innocence until the day he died in prison. This time feels different. This murderer looked normal. He earned college credits while in high school. He was a straight-A student. He had no criminal record. He lived at home with his parents, two registered Republicans active in their Mormon church in conservative Utah. The family all talked ‘round the dinner table, as families used to.
