In March 2023, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) stood in front of cameras and made a bold promise: 1,200 taxpayer-funded "tiny homes" would be deployed across the state by that fall to combat the exploding homelessness crisis. The cost? A staggering $750 million from California taxpayers. However, as we approach fall 2025, neither the 1,200 homes nor any trace of the $750 million can be found.
This is California under Democrat control: big promises, bloated budgets, and nothing to show for it.

Gee, California under dem control sounds a lot like the Federal government under dem control. How about those EV charging stations, hummm?
We knew they were full of bad ideas but dems have also become synonymous with incompetence, even for their own causes. As long as we keep the results contained within the dem states, that's OK. If they like hitting themselves on the head with a hammer, why should we interfere with their enjoyment.
Conservatives in those states can move. Sorry guys.

Maybe China purchased the land where Newsom and the leftist Democrats said they were going to build the tiny homes?

It's California. Money for the homeless is always looted. Never goes to them.
It goes to leftist bureaucrats and "non profits". When they're done lining their pockets maybe a few Pennie's that fell to the side in the mad pig rush at the public trough might accidentally slip through to someone homeless.

The answer of course is Democrat pockets.

I'm sure this will be a headline in all of the California papers and lead the newscasts...or, the usual liberal news mantra of: ''If we don't report it, it didn't happen.'' That's known as 'Lies by Omission.' It's what they do.

Where has the $750 million gone?

$750 million, you ask? Could be just a rounding error of the $24 billion in total homeless funding that's gone unaccounted for.

Newsom is a talker, not a doer. His foolhardy Kamalaesque run for president should rid us and the ountry of him, and he can retire to his vineyards.

The $750million was probably a cost estimate rather than money sitting there, ready to be spent.

Is the math correct?
$750,000,000 divided by 1200 tiny homes = $625,000 per home
It must be the gavin-based math.

That comes out to $625,000 per tiny home. A typical level of democrat graft and fraud would be for a democrat controlled "nonprofit" to sell the state 1,200 single wide mobile homes at a profit of over $500,000 per home. It is a testament to the years of complete democrat control of the state and media that the dems feel safe in just taking the money.

Billions in California just vaporize....never to be seen or heard of again.
Well, except in the bank accounts of politicians and politically connected thieves.

No worries, it's just taxpayer dollars, they know there's more whenever they want it and know how to get it.
They will appeal to those gullible liberal white college educated women who don't seem to see they're being gaslighted and lied to.
Besides, most mobile homes would be less than $100,000 each. You could use used ocean containers (8 x 8 x 40') for roughly $10,000 before adding a few windows.
They never want to solve the problem just find the funding sources so they can hire a bunch of government employees first who would be tasked with finding a few crumbs to dole out.

The amount of taxpayer money that democrats have stolen at both the state and federal level is beyond comprehension. Not one of their programs have ever come to fruition without money disappearing. And one of the biggest culprits is probably Gavin Newsom. Nothing in California ever gets done yet the money disappears. When it comes to money the man is a magician. And democrats keep voting these thieves back into office. Says a lot about the democratic voter.

$750,000,000 for 1200 homes is more than $600,000 per tiny home. Wonder if greasy slimey narcissistic governor has some off shore LLCs? Bet some democrats got some healthy bonuses. And maybe contractors. Ridiculous.
