Libel Lawsuit Filed
Over Bogus Epstein Smear

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 7/19/2025 11:59:14 AM

This week, the legacy media’s obsession with dragging President Donald Trump into the orbit of Jeffrey Epstein stooped to a shameful new low. The Wall Street Journal embarrassed itself with a hyped-up Trump-Epstein “bombshell” that amounted to nothing more than a birthday card that Trump supposedly sent to Epstein in 2003. Curiously, the evidence in this bombshell is under wraps, but Trump denies writing and threatened to sue over the bogus report. Attorneys have now filed that lawsuit. This latest smear attempt is just another chapter in the media’s ongoing effort to tie Trump to Epstein, despite the lack of evidence and Trump’s documented decision to ban Epstein from Mar-a-Lago.

Excellent news!! Go git 'em, President Trump!!!

The WSJ has surrendered any reputation it had left. Emma Tucker should be fired, and so should the journalist that sourced this smear.

When I told a sibling the WSJ was a leftist rag just a couple of years ago incredulity ensued. Hopefully they see this and realize they've been duped, and for quite a few years. Nothing would please me more than to see these bastions of leftist bilge go down in flames (literally, of course).

Gee, seems if you think you had the story on Trump, you'd check it out eight ways to Sunday and then reverify it again. And then make the big reveal a birthday card? Big whoop. And remember, suing people to Trump is like a hobby. Some folks collect stamps, Trump sues people.

We call them libtards because a) they're unabashedly liberal (lib) and b) they're incapable of learning (tard). Despite copious evidence of what happens when you FAFO with Trump, they continue to insist on trying to smear him with long-debunked fabrications, and pay the price for doing so. Well, old Rupert has deep pockets. I'm sure he'll pony up a hefty sum to make Trump's suit go away.

Authorities in Bermuda said Tuesday that they arrested four U.S. cruise ship passengers accused of drug possession. Police said in a statement that the suspects had a “significant quantity of illegal drugs” including cannabis and carfentanil, which experts say is 100 times more potent than fentanyl and is used to tranquilize elephants. “This seizure may have prevented a potential tragedy,” said acting Detective Superintendent Derricka Burns. The suspects also were accused of possessing vape pens and suspected THC gummies. Bermuda police said security officers aboard a Carnival cruise ship had detained the suspects.

California’s new $20-per-hour minimum wage for fast food workers has resulted in a significant decline in employment in that sector, leading to 18,000 fewer jobs than would have been the case otherwise. That’s according to a new paper released by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) this month, which said: We analyze the effect of California’s $20 fast food minimum wage, which was enacted in September 2023 and went into effect in April 2024, on employment in the fast food sector. In unadjusted data from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, we find that employment in California’s fast food sector declined by 2.7 percent

An appeals court has overturned a New Jersey sanctuary law that attempted to ban state and local agencies, as well as private contractors, from partnering with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain illegal aliens in detention centers. On Tuesday, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in a 2-1 decision that New Jersey’s law, known as AB 5207, “interferes with the federal government’s core power to enforce immigration laws” by banning state and local agencies and private contractors from working with ICE to operate detention centers for illegal aliens. “New Jersey is on the wrong side of that line. It dislikes some of the federal government’s immigration tools,

It’s always amusing to me who Democrats view as being their “star” at any given moment. That the person the party has chosen to elevate changes daily tells you just how screwed they know they are. As such, I figured I’d highlight who they’re flying as a test candidate from time to time, as they pop up like a cold sore on a hooker. This week it’s Secretary Mayor Pete Buttigieg. That Pete Buttigieg was ever a serious candidate, let alone the winner of the 2020 Iowa Caucuses, is a testament to the power of identity politics in the Democratic Party.
