Biden Pushes Back on Autopen Investigation:
‘I Made the Decisions’

Original Article

Facing a federal investigation into his use of an autopen to sign executive actions, former President Joe Biden insists he was in control of the White House for the past four years. “I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false,” Biden said in a statement on Wednesday. President Donald Trump declared his predecessor’s last-minute pardons void early this year after the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project discovered the pardons were signed by a mechanical autopen rather than by the president’s own hand.

I made the decisions that F-ed up this country. s/o My grandmother and mother both suffered from Alzheimer's. One thing I learned was to never give them a choice as they were incapable of making a decision on anything. So instead of asking "Would you like peas or corn with dinner" it was "We are having corn with dinner". This statement from FJB is basic BS CYA probably encouraged by Mrs. FJB to make them appear relevant. (If he even actually said it). It was probably as simple as "Mr. President would you like to use autopen on these documents?" "Yes, please". He knew nothing or if he was in the loop he immediately forgot it once the pudding was topped with whipped cream and passed his way.

I think he's going to have to say "which" decisions not just "the" decisions. Thought experiment: In a court case to declare a pardon to be void: Can an aid testify that "yes, I heard Biden say 'I approve that pardon' " or would that be inadmissible hearsay? In other words, does The Lazy Cadaver have to testify that 'yes, i made that decision to pardon mr. x,' and then is it a quesion of fact for the jury to decide 'yes we believe him' or 'no, we don't believe him'?

If Biden made the decision to use autopen, then why not just sign the old fashioned way - by hand? Why create controversy? In addition, is there a document, personally signed by Biden, giving the autopen the power of attorney to sign his name to legal documents that have bearing on millions of citizens? Would that even be legal? Also, if he was cognitive enough to authorize autopen, then he is competent enough to stand trial for his crimes. But, as we know, they're just making it up as they go. My guess is, if the autopen controversy makes it to the SC, the justices will wimp out and declare it constitutional - of which there is not basis in law. The Supreme's don't want to get in the middle of this.

Start asking him the questions. Someone there must know how to cross exam. Nail his hide to the wall and show no mercy. If he wants to excuse the criminal actions, greater than any in our history, put the matter to rest. Stop the cover-up. Keep the promises. We were promised to right the economic ship and we were promised to hang the pirates. They are still using him the same way they have been using him for the last four years. He's the guy we are going to have to go through. It's ugly but promises were made and there is still plenty of evil left in them. We need to put it out there for all to see and we need arrests, not politics. All this mess can be traced right back to the individual politicians. It has been good to see the fraud and waste that Doge found but it is not being traced back to the crooks running the show. Do it. Make Gaetz special counsel/prosecutor and let him do the job. They just shot a big hole in the plan with this BBB joke. We cannot afford this hits, fight back.

From the NY Post: President Biden had no clue whether or not he signed a critical executive order during a conversation last year with Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, who admitted he left the meeting fearing the nation is in “serious trouble.” An addled Biden insisted to the Louisiana lawmaker that he never issued the order to freeze new liquid natural gas export permits — even though he signed off on it less than a month earlier. Johnson told the Free Press’ Bari Weiss he didn’t believe Biden was lying, but was left to believe the then-81-year-old leader “genuinely didn’t know what he had signed.”

What a total liar. He'll get in trouble if he doesn't deny these accusations. Someone in the background is always threatening to cause "trouble" for FJB. Whoever that is, it's someone he fears. I'd like to see everything collapse legally for him before his body physically dies. Before he gets to the warm, warm climates he's destined for, let the legal consequences of fifty years of bribery start happening. Any political party that would elevate the likes of him to power is a party Americans can do without.

California Gov. As Breitbart News noted earlier in the day, reports emerged suggesting that the Trump White House was considering cutting federal funding to California due to its challenges to, and defiance of, federal policy. Breitbart News reported: President Donald Trump is reportedly considering ways to pull more federal funding from the State of California, as Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) continues to defy White House policies, despite needing money.

Both rulings appeared to be along the Supreme Court’s ideological lines,

Economists had been expecting 125,000 jobs and an unemployment rate unchanged at 4.2 percent. President Donald Trump’s program of shrinking the federal government is showing signs of progress. Employment in the federal government fell by 22,000 in May and is down 59,000 since January. The private sector added 140,000 jobs, more than the 120,000 forecast.

Texas on Tuesday removed BlackRock (BLK.N), opens new tab from a list of companies seen as boycotting the energy industry, a step the New York asset manager won only with steep cuts to its climate ambitions. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said the decision reflected BlackRock's retreats from industry climate groups like the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative. He also noted how the firm has lowered its support for shareholder environmental resolutions and backed a new Texas Stock Exchange. BlackRock "has acknowledged the real social and economic costs, both here in Texas and globally, that come from limiting investment in the oil and gas industry," Hegar said in a statement.

In this case, Mexico in effect sued American gun manufacturers for the plague of violence that is sweeping Mexico. The Supreme Court, in its decision, noted that Mexico's case runs afoul of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, or PLCA. Best of all, the decision was unanimous. The UK Independent did an in-depth look into the question in late 2024, just after Trump was elected to a second term. The outlet produced this confusing graph. For our purposes, the red bars at the bottom are what we would consider to be deportations: involuntary departures facilitated by a formal order. “Returns” come in a variety of flavors and include people leaving voluntarily (a good thing).
