David Horowitz Taught Conservatives How
to Fight

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 5/2/2025 6:26:03 AM

In the weeks before David Horowitz’s passing, he wrote an article and finished another book. In and out of the hospital, he would call me on the phone to relay another idea for a series or another article about the Left. (Snip) The one thing that David would never do is give up. His superhuman endurance was not physical, it was a matter of conviction. Long after his body had failed, he kept going, writing, thinking, arguing and above all else…fighting. In his final op-ed, ‘The Biggest Lie of All’, published weeks before his death, David reproved Republicans for underestimating Democrats and the Left. That had been his overriding theme

Comments:

I was a red diaper baby like David, and converted long before he did. I met him and ended up working with him as a fundraiser. He was an awesome figure and this article captures him well. For a more complete look at his life, read his autobiography, Radical Son. I hope his colleagues and supporters can carry on his legacy. The writers at Frontpage are great.

A beautiful tribute to a great man. Like many, his greatness and extraordinary vision will only revealed after his demise. Rest in peace, courageous soul.

Thank you for the post, OP. I’m so thankful for the life and work of David Horowitz and all likeminded souls. I’m especially thankful for those who are in positions of power in our government. This is a battle on all fronts. As always, the battle belongs to the Lord. Our Founders knew it, acted accordingly, and were fortified with the providential powers provided by their allegiance to the cause of good. I pray our loyalty is as strong. I believe we were shown again that God will be with US, if we will be with Him, in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. May God grant success in every effort to MAGA.

Agree 100%. A fighter is what was needed then, and even more so now (I nominate Schlichter and his colleagues) Those George Will, Mona Charen, National Review types basically just preached to the choir for decades (Sorry Mr. Buckley). They could never fight a real war, of words or otherwise, and that's what we're in with the left. Their natural successors are the pathetic Never Trump loser eunuchs that we see today.

Back when Mr. Horowitz published a newsletter, he encouraged readers to pay for subscriptions to be sent to liberals. It was always very entertaining to read the letters that these gobsmacked liberals wrote, demanding to end these involuntary subscriptions.

Don’t be discouraged, but this is the worst, most horrifying story I have ever had to cover. Whatever we believed the trafficking problem was, things were much worse, much more literally demonic, and much more widespread than anyone imagined. The first clue appeared yesterday in FBI Director Kash Patel’s astonishing tweet: (Snip) Deeply disturbing is an understatement. For whatever reason, the media isn’t reporting the whole story. But the Trump Administration has initiated one of the largest and most urgent federal law enforcement responses in history. The ABC article buried the lede, which was that the entire FBI is now involved in responding to an altogether new and horrifying threat.

BRADDOCK, Pennsylvania — Sen. John Fetterman‘s (D-PA) mental acuity was just fine to Democrats. But then he stood up for Israel. And now, to hear his anonymous staffers moan, you would think he was Joe Biden Part II. He is not. (Snip) Gone were any signs of the early struggles he faced between May of 2022 and February of 2023 when he was in recovery from both the side effects of his stroke as well as depression; in place instead was the man I have covered since he first ran for office as mayor of this old steel town in 2005 and won by absentee ballot.

Will the Next Pope Be Another ‘Pope

Will the next pope continue the last pope’s consistent record of appeasing Islam? The late Pope Francis had a long record of whitewashing Islamic jihad violence and making moral equivalence arguments in order to downplay jihad terror. Back in 2017, Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Cairo’s al-Azhar, noticed the pope’s yeoman service for the Islamic cause and thanked him for his “defense of Islam against the accusation of violence and terrorism.” Francis was not just a defender of Islam but also a defender of the Sharia death penalty for blasphemy. After Islamic jihadists in Jan. 2015 murdered the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists who had drawn Muhammad, Francis obliquely justified the murders

A remarkable situation is fast developing in which the West is becoming more Islamist — the term for Islamic holy war extremism — than the Arab Muslim world itself. This week, Jordan banned the extremist Muslim Brotherhood. All Brotherhood offices there have been closed, and its assets will be confiscated, shortly after 16 of its members were arrested in an alleged armed plot against the kingdom. The authorities found weapons and explosives being stored in residential areas and transported across Jordan; secret missile-manufacturing facilities that could have produced up to 250 short-range missiles; and “training and recruitment operations” linked to the group.

As millions of Americans anxiously await action from the new HHS leadership against the deadly COVID-19 mRNA injections—injected into over 9 million children this year—Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has finally gone publicly on the offensive: (Snip) The recommendation for children was always dubious. It was dubious because kids had almost no risk for COVID-19. In the largest review to date on myocarditis following SARS-CoV-2 infection vs. COVID-19 vaccination, Mead et al found that vaccine-induced myocarditis is not only significantly more common but also more severe—particularly in children and young males. Our findings make clear that the risks of the shots overwhelmingly outweigh any theoretical benefit:

I imagine you have not spent any time with the hereditary elites of Europe, and you are lucky in that. They breed sociopaths there, and brutalize their children until they think of us, you and me, as talking cows or pigs. We exist for their harvest, we are their unwitting serfs and since the beginning of the American experiment, they have wanted the States back under their control, its wealth cascading into their maw. It is they who invented the climate and extinction scam out of the Club of Rome, which ramped up the intellectual nonsense of Malthus in order to choke your life and mine.
There’s Real Evidence for Easter 24 replies

If you think politicians make outlandish claims, consider what Christians celebrate at Easter. They believe a man named Jesus was brutally tortured, murdered, and buried for three days before rising from the dead. Furthermore, they assert this man was also fully God and that your belief or lack of belief in him determines your eternal destiny. Christians have no video evidence or DNA tests to prove this. That’s understandable since Christians say the event Easter celebrates took place almost 2,000 years ago. Americans can’t even agree on things that happened two weeks ago. Isn’t Easter an ancient example of “fake news,” a myth propagated by people putting faith over historical realities?

The Left doesn’t know what a woman is. Actually, that’s not quite true. For them, a woman is whatever mentally ill men say it is, (Snip) Now we’ve discovered, according to the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), many Americans are stark raving mad. Their study reveals what they call “assassination culture,” an acceptance of premeditated murder for political purposes. The NCRI study links this cultural shift to the December 2024 assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangione. In the aftermath, researchers observed a disturbing surge of viral memes glorifying Mangione, which effectively turned him into a folk hero among certain corners of the internet.

What if I told you that when federal district judges issue injunctions blocking President Donald Trump’s policies in a judicial insurrection, they were the ones breaking the law? No, it’s not just because these judges are effectively usurping the authority of the president over the executive branch. It’s more clear-cut than that. When Chief Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., issued an order demanding the Trump administration return reputed members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to the U.S., he wasn’t just making immigration policy—he was violating a black-and-white rule laid down by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ten years ago I wrote a Taki’s Magazine article on one of the more self-destructive acts in the history of the U.S. government when the defeated Carter Administration intentionally hamstrung state capacity by throwing out the brand new, superbly validate civil service exam in the name of racial equity: (Snip) Of course, blacks and Hispanics did less well on this test than whites and Asians. Therefore the EEOC tacitly sponsored a lawsuit and filed it under the name of a Mexican-American plaintiff who had failed the test, Angel Luevano. One of the things that frightens parents—and leads them to avoid vaccines that have protected against potentially deadly or life-changing diseases such as measles or polio—is the alleged connection between autism and some of the vaccinations. Parents know that autism diagnoses have skyrocketed over the past few years, and, given how today’s little children are vaccine pincushions, they’re rightly worried. However, I’d like to suggest some alternative reasons for the increased number of diagnoses. My ideas are not based on studies or a medical degree (I don’t have one) but on a little bit of common sense.

In a press briefing published on C-SPAN, Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the FBI is reviewing those files now.

The stated purpose of Wednesday's hearing is "The Annual Testimony of the Secretary of the Treasury on the State of the International Financial System," which sounds rather formal and serious in nature. It doesn't seem that it would lend itself to the all-too-frequent displays of nastiness by congressional Democrats at anyone associated with the Trump administration, but that didn't stop Waters from turning the opportunity for a cordial exchange with Bessent into one that was decidedly mean-spirited on her part,

Trump said the bombings on Houthi targets will stop "effectively immediately." Secretary of State Marco Rubio then said the "job" was to get attacks on ships in the region to stop. "If that's going to stop, we will stop," he added.
