Democrats' long-term strategy for electoral dominance depends on capturing three demographic groups (as they define them): the youth vote, the minority vote, and AWFLs. They are losing their grip on two out of the three--rapidly. AWFLs are their most reliable group, and if you expand the definition to include increasingly effeminate men who are overeducated and who value virtue signaling as much as AWFLs, the Democrats have a lock on this demographic grouping. In fact, their lock is getting stronger, not weaker, over time.

Pres. Donald Trump’s job approval ratings stay above 50 percent, despite (or because of?) constant attacks in the media.
I consume a lot of media in the course of my day job. So, I was mildly surprised to discover how robust the President’s job approval numbers are, so far. Rasmussen Reports still does a daily poll, and today’s figure has Trump at 51 percent approval. In fact, at no point since his second term began in January has Trump’s approval level fallen below 50 percent.
RealClearPolitics’ poll of polls tells the same story, where Trump is about breakeven.
This result stands in sharp contrast to the first Trump term,

Goldberg claimed Waltz added him to the chat without knowing who he was, which has prompted criticism and calls for Waltz to resign.
A senior political adviser to President Trump slapped the Daily Beast with a defamation lawsuit over its reporting on how much he was paid by the campaign.
Chris LaCivita, a manager of Trump’s re-election campaign, claims the Barry Diller-owned tabloid news site created “the false impression” that he was “personally profiting excessively from his work on the campaign and that he was prioritizing personal gain over the campaign’s success,” according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Monday.
The lawsuit stems from the Daily Beast’s article published on October 15, 2024, with the headline: “Trump In Cash Crisis-As Campaign Chief’s $22m Pay Revealed.”
