FBI Director Kash Patel, who also serves as acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, has outlined plans to move as many as 1,000 ATF agents to the FBI, cutting ATF’s agents by more than a third, three people briefed on the plan told CNN.
The move represents a major cutback of the ATF, an agency that long has been in the crosshairs of gun rights groups that believe its work infringes on Second Amendment rights. The ATF has about 2,600 agents and more than 5,000 employees, a number that has remained largely unchanged for years.
The move is expected to begin

Two of the top conservative thinkers in America are Ben Shapiro, the head honcho of The Daily Wire, and Morton Blackwell, the lead dog of the Leadership Institute. Shapiro is more famous, but Blackwell is probably more influential: The Leadership Institute has been around since the late 1970s, training tens of thousands of conservative activists. Included amongst its alumni are GOP senators, congressmen, governors, cabinet members… and at least one PJ Media writer (Hi!).
As for Shapiro, he’s matured into a leading voice for conservatism. His proficiency with social media is widely admired (and often copied), but seldom equaled. Of all the voices in media, he’s the closest thing

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claimed Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that in 2026, congressional Republicans “will feel like rats on a sinking ship.”
Host Kristen Welker said, “Some Democrats are saying they want leadership to show more fight in this moment. They think that’s what’s required and you were instrumental in urging President Biden out of the 2024 race when he wasn’t convinced. I’ve had conversations with Democrats who says this moment feels similar. Are you making the same mistake that President Biden did?”
Schumer said, “No absolutely not. I did this out of conviction. in my caucus we have a disagreement

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Trump border Czar Tom Homan said they will follow court orders while targeting criminals for deportation.
Host Jonathan Karl said, “You said, I quote, I don’t care what judges think. Now, I know you have since said that the administration will abide by court orders. We heard Donald Trump say the same thing. So what do you mean when you say, I don’t care what judges think?”
Homan said, “I don’t care what that judge thinks as far as this case, we’re going to continue to arrest public safety threats and national security threats. We’re going to continue to deport them from the United States. I understand

I'm not suggesting Elon Musk took my advice when I said he should consider suing Jamaal Bowman, but I'm not denying it either.
As I wrote on Friday, Bowman launched into a deranged rant against Musk, accusing him of being a "thief" and "nazi." It was so bad that CNN's Abby Philip had to jump in and give a disclaimer at the end, stating that his opinion was his own. BOWMAN: That's not true, and this shows again, the American people do not trust Elon Musk, and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position. And how do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people,

The globalist prime minister of Australia, who has a history of anti-Trump bashing, is now reportedly devastated that Donald Trump cut U.S. funding to Australian universities.
Leaving aside the obvious fact that American taxpayers shouldn’t be funding any foreign universities, it is amusing to note how leftist foreign leaders with a track record of sneering at and criticizing Americans are suddenly panicked by the loss of American money, either via grant terminations or tariffs. Apparently we were supposed to be the world‘s wallet endlessly, no matter how much other nations abused and used us.

Columbia University has agreed to cede to Donald Trump's unprecedented demands in negotiations over $400 million in federal funding that the administration revoked earlier this month.
Columbia has agreed to "ban masks, empower 36 campus police officers with new powers to arrest students and appoint a senior vice provost with broad authority to oversee the department of Middle East, South Asian and African Studies as well as the Center for Palestine Studies," reports the Wall Street Journal. In addition to the nine Trump's demands that the university had to meet before talks on restoring the $400 million in cuts could begin, the university has agreed to make additional efforts

Liberals are in full-blown panic mode over President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Democrats in Congress are hysterically crying “constitutional crisis,” while unhinged activists are lashing out at Tesla vehicles and showrooms—all because Elon Musk dares to support cutting government waste. Conservatives have long suspected there’s a deeper reason why the left goes berserk over efforts to rein in reckless spending. Now, the New York Times has accidentally said the quiet part out loud—the left’s political machine is fueled by your tax dollars.

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has ticked up to 51 percent, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll published Friday.
The survey of 1,500 likely voters shows a one percent increase for Trump compared to the figures the polling outfit released in their daily tracking poll on Thursday. While 51 percent approve, 47 percent disapprove of his performance. The president has not fallen below 50 percent approval during his presidency, according to data dating back to January 23.
The poll’s margin of error is ± 2.5 percent.

The Trump administration will be revoking the legal status of hundreds of thousands of Latin American and Haitian migrants welcomed into the U.S. under a Biden-era sponsorship process, urging them to self-deport or face arrest and removal by deportation agents.
The termination of their work permits and deportation protections under an immigration authority known as parole will take effect in late April, 30 days after March 25, according to a notice posted by the federal government.
The move will affect immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who flew to the U.S. under a Biden administration program, known as CHNV, that was designed to reduce illegal immigration

President Trump is tearing out the infrastructure of the Democrat party and setting off panic in progressive circles. According to a report in the New York Times, Trump's attacks on Democrat funding, fundraising, organizing, and legal organizations are presenting the Democrats with a threat that only Republicans have encountered in the past.
The report highlights Trump imposing what amounts to economic sanctions on three major Democrat-affiliated law firms — Perkins Coie, Covington & Burlington, and Paul Weiss — via executive orders; see Trump Strips Security Clearance From Law Firm That Helped Hillary's Campaign Fund Debunked Steele Dossier – RedState and Trump's Executive
