Two deputies are dead and a third is in critical condition following a "horrific crash" in Florida, authorities said. The incident, which occurred Thursday morning on Southern Boulevard in Palm Beach County, involved three motorcycle deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office who were conducting traffic enforcement at the time, [Snip] One of the deputies had trouble getting his motorcycle started and called the two others over to help him move the bike off the road, [Snip] The deputies were waiting for further assistance on a grassy area off the road when a woman driving eastbound in the center lane tried to pass a vehicle

Planned Parenthood has been providing “viable nonanomalous” babies murdered in “elective abortions” to the University of California San Diego (UCSD) for experimentation, according to a new report. Published by The Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the emails detail a “Research Plan” that documents the harvesting of babies for experimentation on their bodies. [Snip] According to the records reported by CMP, researchers unveiled plans in their submission to “collect tissues from fetuses ranging from 4 to 23 weeks gestational age from subjects undergoing elective surgical pregnancy termination at Planned Parenthood in San Diego.” The researchers further noted that patients with “viable nonanomalous…fetuses” would partake in the analysis.

A pro-life activist imprisoned for attempting to save the life of unborn babies has been seriously injured in prison. Will Goodman, currently an inmate at Federal Correction Institution Danbury in Connecticut, suffered severe injuries on Sunday, November 15, after falling in his sleep from an upper bunk and landing headfirst on the floor underneath. [Snip] Goodman was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. Although he was vomiting blood and doctors discovered that he had skull fractures, he was sent back to the prison that night. [Snip] Goodman’s head was bandaged, and he was given a neck brace.

The Biden administration told Congress it plans to cancel $4.65 billion in debt owed by Ukraine, approximately half of an economic loan offered earlier this year. [Snip] In April, Congress passed a supplemental funding package that earmarked $60 billion worth of aid for Ukraine, including $9 billion structured as a loan, with a provision that allowed the administration to forgive it, according to Miller. [Snip] Biden has also vowed to commit the remaining $7 billion from the supplemental package to Ukraine before Biden leaves office. On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced $275 million for Ukraine that would include more drones, artillery ammunition and mortars.

Ukrainians have lit 1,000 candles to mark each day since Russia launched its full-scale invasion nearly three years ago. Poignant photos show soldiers laying down the flames in front of the statue of the Motherland, one of the main symbols of Kyiv on the 1000th day of the war. [Snip] It comes as the Kremlin marked 1000 days since the invasion by lowering the threshold at which Russian forces could use nuclear weapons. The new doctrine, which replaces the previous iteration outlined in 2020, allows Moscow to deploy its weapons if Russia or Belarus is threatened by a non-nuclear nation supported by a nuclear power.

When there are kings, there are jesters. One glorious benefit of living through a time of political upheaval and uncertainty at the hands of a fickle ruler is watching the rich vein of satire surface from the bonfire of the king’s vanities. [Snip] With America only weeks away from the return of its felon president, the jester business here is about to enter a golden age. His term hasn’t even started and...his first term is echoing through headlines as he made Cabinet appointments and demanded their positions be accepted without confirmation or vetting or well any old nod to how our government works.

As an aspiring freelance writer, shortly after discovering I was a conservative, I became obsessed with the idea of writing an article worthy of publication by American Thinker. [Snip] My interaction with Thomas Lifson was infrequent... [Snip] ...the legacy of Thomas Lifson will continue to grow and prosper as he steps into retirement because the publication has never been about him. It’s always been about conservatism and providing a forum for people like me to share our thoughts and opinions. God bless Thomas Lifson! And thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

A number of readers have noted the absence of my byline on the American Thinker homepage, and those that investigated the “About Us” page saw that I am now credited as “Founder and Editor Emeritus.” Some have written AT asking what this is all about. I didn’t want to distract from the campaign that concluded Tuesday, which I regarded as a battle to save the Republic, [Snip] But the reality is that I have a terminal disease, one that is incurable, and for which there are no promising remedies in the foreseeable future.

The collective pearl-clutching by the corporate press and Washington establishment on Wednesday after Trump announced he’d chosen Matt Gaetz to be his attorney general was something to behold. [Snip] And since Gaetz himself was one of the more prominent victims of Garland’s politicized DOJ, he might just be the perfect person for the job. [Snip] ...Gaetz was subjected to an 18-month sham DOJ investigation based on nothing more than the publication of an anonymously sourced and frankly outlandish report accusing him of possibly being a child sex trafficker. He was never convicted and never even charged, but that was never the point. The point was to silence him.

Following President Donald Trump’s decisive victory in both the electoral and popular vote, it’s becoming clear, based on multiple reports, that the weaponized Department of Justice (DOJ) is poised to dismantle its baseless and frivolous criminal prosecutions against Trump in Florida and Washington, D.C., and may even dismiss Jack Smith before Trump has the satisfaction to utter his most famous line, “you’re fired.” [Snip] This move marks yet another self-serving, calculated maneuver, a legal sleight-of-hand designed to protect the reputations of Attorney General Merrick Garland, Smith, and former Special Counsel Robert Mueller and to distract from Smith and Mueller’s unconstitutional appointments.

My friend and I have shared secrets, careers, cocktails. She woke up Wednesday and wasn’t saddened by the news of the election results. America just showed its real face, she said. She is Black. Her lens is different from mine, [Snip] As a Christian, I’ve recoiled these past several years as I’ve watched a political ideology--then one man--become as much of a gospel as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I’ve studied Jesus under people who helped me build the framework of my faith and study scripture that are celebrating that the next president will be a man who couldn't pass a background check to work in their church.

The nation's educational landscape faces a potential transformation as Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House with ambitious plans for systemic changes. According to ABC News, Trump's Agenda47 campaign outlines comprehensive reforms, including the elimination of the Department of Education, implementation of nationwide school choice, and significant changes to curriculum content. The proposed changes would affect multiple aspects of America's educational system, from kindergarten through higher education. Trump's vision encompasses major shifts in federal oversight, teacher certification, and curriculum standards. The plan represents a fundamental reimagining of how education is delivered and managed across the United States.

Mr. Goodman was treated for his pain and discomfort with ibuprophen, Tylenol, and anti-nausea medication. Unfortunately, in a later incident, Mr. Goodman lost consciousness on his way back from the prison library and was put in a wheelchair to be taken to the medical wing but a front wheel fell off, the wheelchair lunged forward, wrenching his neck. On the whole, Mr. Goodman reports that “the staff has been quite professional, several even being understanding or sympathetic” during his anguish as well as kindness from fellow prisoners—some “also political prisoners.” Prayers and blessings for Mr. Goodman.
