Elon Musk hinted he might explore buying MSNBC on Friday, days after it was reported the network would be spun off from NBC News and potentially sold by Comcast.
Donald Trump Jr. shared a meme on Friday afternoon on X/Twitter claiming MSNBC was up for sale.
He tagged Musk and commented, “Hey @elonmusk I have the funniest idea ever!!!”
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO replied, “How much does it cost?” After the exchange went viral, Musk commented, “The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely.”

When the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and its former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, it may have unwittingly dragged the United States into the scuffle. Under the terms of the Rome Statute, the ICC's founding treaty, signatories are bound to arrest and extradite anyone targeted by the ICC. When Russian President Vladimir Putin was served with an ICC arrest warrant in March 2023 (see International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Vladimir Putin and Putin's War, Week 56. Putin Indicted for War Crimes, Xi Visits Moscow, and Sevastopol Attacked for a Third Time), that effectively ended his travel

Brittany Patterson lives in a rural part of Georgia with her four kids. Her husband is a superintendent at a school in Montana and is away much of the time. Last month, Patterson had to take one of her children to the doctor's office. She left her 10-year-old son Soren (he's nearly 11) at home with her father, the boy's grandfather.
At some point, Soren decided to go for a walk to a local gas station where he knew his best friend's grandmother was working. He didn't ask permission, he just went. Someone saw him walking along the road and called police.

Thursday morning began with news that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for "war crimes and crimes against humanity." Oh, and for good measure, a warrant was included for Mohammed Deif, a Hamas leader thought to be one of the masterminds behind the October 7 attacks in Israel. Who also happens to be dead.
As streiff observed:
The fact that the ICC ignored Hamas' responsibility for the October 7 massacre until they could slop in a healthy dose of "bothsidesism" by condemning those settler-colonists shows what a monumentally unserious organization the ICC is.

Many members of the news media were blindsided by the results of the 2024 elections. Their coverage was utterly detached from the issues voters care about. The economy was treated as an afterthought among wealthy Democrats who make up most of the population of legacy media newsrooms and TV production meetings.
On the Friday before the election, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its October jobs report. A gain of 108,000 jobs had been expected, but the actual number was just 12,000. It was the worst jobs report since the pandemic. The private sector lost 28,000 jobs while government growth added 40,000 public sector employees.

In a time when so much of modern media feels disconnected from enduring values, Volvo’s latest ad for the EX90 SUV stands as a beacon of what truly matters: life and family. The nearly four-minute commercial tells a moving story that begins with a simple yet profound moment—a man learning he is about to become a father.
From there, the ad follows the imagined journey of his child’s life, highlighting the pivotal role a parent plays in nurturing and protecting their family. With scenes of joy, curiosity, and togetherness, the commercial captures the universal beauty of family life. The Volvo EX90 is seamlessly woven

Two far-left, pro-Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) veterans are behind allegations that Trump defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth’s tattoos are tied to white supremacy, according to public reports and information.
The bogus allegations stem back three years, when Hegseth, as a member of the DC National Guard, was tasked with supporting the 2021 inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden with crowd control and protecting the parade routes. One day prior to the inauguration, he was told by his unit leadership to “stand down,” and that his orders had been revoked.

The International Criminal Court today endorsed and enforced terrorism. There is simply no other way to describe their absurd decision to issue arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant in the war Hamas launched against Israel on October 7, 2023, with a wave of atrocities that deliberately targeted thousands of unarmed civilians.
Rather than issue arrest warrants for Hamas leadership for those atrocities, the ICC has chosen to go after the Israelis for fighting Hamas where Hamas hides out -- among civilians:
The International Criminal Court’s pre-trial chamber issued warrants

The 80's were indeed the finest decade. I say that as someone who graduated from high school in 1984. This is my wheelhouse. It was the decade of Reagan. The economy was rapidly improving. Music was great. Movies were great. But we didn't fully appreciate at the time how good things were until the 90's and Bill Clinton came calling.
At the front edge of the 80's, musically speaking, was an album released

President-elect Donald Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency, a nongovernmental entity helmed by billionaire Elon Musk and biotech entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, is expected to make a push for an end to remote work across federal agencies as a way to help reduce the federal workforce through attrition.
Both Musk and Ramaswamy have recently publicly lamented the number of employees working remotely across the government.
A source familiar with early discussions about the focus of DOGE, as the initiative is known, told CNN that while nothing is final, early priorities include an effort to immediately end remote work across federal agencies,

Americans seem relieved that LITERALLY HITLER is coming to Washington with his "WEIRD" sidekick, while Sleepy Joe and Vapid Commiela are on their way out the door. The big surprise is the kids--the kids are thrilled that Trump is about to return to the White House. Trump's approval rating among 18-29-year-olds is off the charts at 57%, the highest of any group at +19.
Wowza. Only the old farts are unhappy, with the 65+ crowd at -3%, which isn't bad at all.
Needless to say, Trump is more popular than he has ever been, and the country is breathing a genuine sigh of relief

Britain appears ripe for a Trumpian-style political revolution, with half of young men in the country saying they would vote for the American leader if given the opportunity.
A survey published by Jim Blagden, associate director of the More In Common polling consultancy firm, found that 50 per cent of men aged between 18 and 35-years-old in the United Kingdom would vote for Donald Trump if they could. The results of the poll showed a wide disparity between those who would vote for Trump and who they supported in the UK general election in July, with just a quarter of young men backing the Conservative Party or Reform UK.
