If you’re looking for good analysis breaking down the insanity of the modern “trans” movement, then J.D. Vance’s Thursday interview with podcaster Joe Rogan is the discussion to watch.
The GOP vice presidential pick and the comedian covered a lot of topics in their more than three-hour talk. From finding out how Vance was picked to be Donald Trump’s running mate to discussing the first assassination attempt against the former president, the interview provided more in-depth content about the Hillbilly Elegy author’s life and philosophy than corporate media ever could.

“I tried to pick Trump 10 times, it would not work.”
That’s part of the caption for a now-viral video on X showing a voter trying to cast a vote for former President Donald Trump. After several attempts, the video shows, the electronic voting machine captured a vote — but it was for Vice President Kamala Harris. Although officials have looked into the issue, such glitches are a reminder to voters to always double (if not triple) check ballots when casting votes.

A shady voting group represented by a far-left trans activist got caught this week texting thousands of swing state voters, suggesting they had already cast ballots in this year’s election in a classic case of voter suppression.
This week alone, thousands of voters in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania received text messages from a group called “AllVote” reading, “Records show you voted,” along with a hyperlink to more voting information, reports say.
Charlotte Clymer, a male who claims to be a female and the reported spokesman for AllVote, told CNN that over the weekend, “several thousand registered voters were affected by our error.”

While young people historically have low voter turnout, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has taken to social media to try to bridge the gap — but young voters shouldn’t be so quick to applaud her get-out-the-vote tactics.
What began with Harris hopping on the “brat summer” bandwagon has expanded to a full-fledged (and cringe) meme crusade, with the campaign trying to paper over Harris’ lack of accountability and abysmal record by following the trends of “chronically online” voters.
Many failures of the Biden-Harris administration directly affect young voters, making the transition from adolescent to adult harder than ever.

Prompted by Rep. Bryan Steil to act, the feckless Wisconsin Elections Commission will meet on Friday to issue guidance clarifying the use of noncitizen IDs at the polls.
Steil, chairman of the House Administration Committee, which oversees federal election law, sent a letter late last week demanding WEC clarify whether swing state Wisconsin’s Limited Term and Non-Domiciled driver’s licenses and ID cards may be used as proof of residency to register to vote.
Spoiler Alert: The temporary visitor IDs generally issued to noncitizens can be used to vote, according to proposed guidance from members of the Elections Commission.

The havoc wrought by Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina brought disaster to homes and families, but that has not stopped Democrats from blocking the approval of emergency early voting sites in the heavily Republican area. The refusal to act forced the GOP-led state legislature to intervene.
Democrat-run local elections boards in McDowell and Henderson counties have failed to approve additional early voting sites in the disaster-stricken area, despite increasing calls for more access to voting. Both counties voted for Donald Trump in 2020.
“Ensuring the right to vote is upheld for western NC citizens devastated by Hurricane Helene should be a non-partisan issue,

Once you see the strings on the political marionettes, you can never return to that moment in the performance when you did not see them…. Conservative Tree House may be called a Last Refuge for each of us for different reasons. Whatever trail through the woods brought us here, we have shared the turmoil of storms as we have been finding our voices as individuals in this growing community
Perhaps you’ve had some truly shockingly cruel things said to you purely because you believe in limited government and fiscal conservatism. Perhaps you not only believe that we should be self-reliant and personally responsible, but also believe that when we are allowed

ncredible as it seems, at least to me, it is the four-year anniversary of this outline [GO DEEP].During the rushed debate over the Patriot Act, was when I first heard political officials talking about the importance of “continuity of government.”
I immediately recognized what all these DC voices were describing was a construct of a post-911 government that would exist and maintain itself without the elected representatives of WeThe People.
The intelligence gathering and homeland security system put into place after the Patriot Act was passed, is a bureaucratic administrative state without the presence of elected officials controlling the apparatus. That leads to the following question:

The leaders of the European Union are nervous about President Trump: (1) ending the war in Ukraine, and then (2) ending the Marshal Plan, thereby taxing their exports to the U.S as Trump demands tariff reciprocity; and lastly (3) forcing them to pay for their previous NATO commitments.
Brussels has set up a defensive office within the EU bureaucracy called “The Trump Task Force.”BRUSSELS — Top European Union officials have met with the bloc’s ambassadors to talk through what it would mean if Donald Trump wins the U.S. election, 12 EU diplomats told POLITICO.

Israel says that air strikes on military targets in Iran on Saturday morning have concluded its retaliation for Iran’s ballistic missile attacks on April 13 and Oct. 1.
Iran’s military said early Saturday that Israeli strikes on the country targeted military bases in Ilam, Khuzestan, and Tehran provinces, causing “limited damage,” and that two soldiers were killed.
After announcing the strikes were underway, the Israel Defense Forces later released a statement saying they had concluded their mission and warned Iran not to escalate.

Former President Donald Trump sat down with podcast host Joe Rogan on Friday for a nearly three-hour interview. Trump candidly spoke on a wide array of topics.
,(snip)
In the freewheeling conversation, Trump began by reflecting on his years as a businessman and reality TV host on “The Apprentice” before entering politics in 2015. Until then, his engagement with politics, during a time when he was a Democrat, had been as a donor, he said.
(snip)
“I had two things that I was focused on: governing the country and survival,” Trump said, saying that once he took office “they came down” on him.
“I mean nobody has ever been treated that way,”
