If we thought yesterday was astonishing enough, that astonishment has deepened further today. Yesterday, an audacious and unprecedented attack on Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon and Syria somehow caused thousands of electronic pagers to blow up simultaneously, killing at least 12 Hezbollah men and wounding at least 3000 (Snip) Even worse was their humiliation as the Arab world, no less than Israel’s supporters, erupted on social media in a blizzard of hilarious memes. Israel has made Hezbollah into an international laughing stock. In the Arab world, that’s deadly. The further brilliance of the operation was to target the enemy with absolutely minimal civilian casualties

Comments:

Well, that solved the problem of killing civilians, but somehow the terrorists don't appreciate that.

You can feel that the left is completely caught off guard with this one, as they sputter with rage for a clear narrative. They are working on it now, and I’m sure it will have some “crimes against humanity!” angle. But, the fact is that what Israel has done is sheer brilliance and gives me hope. Somewhere in the world there are people who have stopped pretending, can think outside the box, and will do what must be done.

This will make it much harder for Hezbollah to recruit. Young men may be willing to give their lives for the cause, but their junk is a different matter altogether.

I wonder if any of the terrorists who have waltzed across our border recently have one of those pagers. If we had a decent intelligence community, they would be looking into that right now.

Well, COVID is back on the menu—but not in the way you’d expect. This time, it’s playing right into President Trump’s hands, thanks to a CDC-related endorsement that’s left everyone stunned. Dr. Robert Redfield, Trump’s former CDC director, has just thrown his support behind 45 for president. And he’s dropped a COVID verdict that will leave you—and Fauci—shocked and awed. (Snip)And it’s clear that former CDC Director Robert Redfield knows President Trump had a better plan. That’s why he’s not only endorsing Trump for President but also making amends with his old nemesis, RFK Jr., and revealing some truths that will probably have Anthony Fauci sweating bullets

Below are five news nuggets that will make your blood boil. *CNN “reporter” Elle Reeve recently asked a boat-owning Trump supporter why he was so concerned about the economy. The clear inference was that he must be doing pretty well himself, so why should he care? Amazing. This doesn’t speak well of her. The boat owner gave a pretty good answer, but he should have asked CNN’s ditz: “Gee, I don’t know, why do healthy people care about health care?” *While making an appearance in a grocery store recently, Donald Trump handed a woman $100 to help pay for her groceries.

The Iranian war of extermination against Israel continues to be a clarifying moment for the supposedly civilised world. As this crisis continues, it is remorselessly spotlighting those who stand against such evil and those who are shamefully siding with it. Israel’s astounding feat this week in killing or disabling thousands of senior Hezbollah operatives by causing their pagers and walkie-talkie radios to explode has sent its western enemies into a frenzy. (Snip) In fact, never in the history of warfare has there been a more precisely targeted attack against enemy combatants. The explosive devices had only been distributed to senior Hezbollah operatives. The small amount of explosive inside was

It is not my intention to write a primer on how to assassinate a world leader. It is my express intention to make clear, limiting myself only to information well known to our adversaries, that this government is making a deliberate decision not to provide the resources necessary to protect Donald Trump against those who wish him dead. The apparent bias of the ABC TV moderators in failing to call out the falsehoods reportedly spoken by US Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, in the debate with former President Donald Trump this week has attracted much critical comment. (Snip)And the picture of Israel that’s been painted over the last few decades — and even more intensely since the October 7 Hamas-led pogrom against southern Israel communities — is a vicious and wildly distorted caricature. Last month, I spoke with Mark Mitchell, the head pollster at Rasmussen Reports, about Kamala’s bounce in the polls and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s impact on the presidential race. Things have definitely changed since then as Trump has gained momentum in the polls, betting markets, and Nate Silver’s election forecast model. So, I followed up with Mitchell to discuss recent developments in the race, including the debate Tuesday night as well as the latest New York Times/Siena College poll, which showed Donald Trump edging ahead of Kamala Harris. This was a development that took many by surprise — except the folks at Rasmussen Reports.

I know, it sounds like a far right conspiracy theory, however: (Snip) In the United States, local measures of racial and ethnic diversity are robustly associated with lower birth rates. A one standard deviation decrease in racial concentration (having people of many different races nearby) or increase in racial isolation (being from a numerically smaller race in that area) is associated with 0.064 and 0.044 fewer children, respectively, after controlling for many other drivers of birth rates. (Snip) The rise in racial diversity in the US since 1970 explains 44% of the decline in birth rates during that period, and 89% of the drop since 2006.

Washington— Donald Trump laid the groundwork to try to overturn the 2020 election even before he lost, knowingly pushed false claims of voter fraud and “resorted to crimes” in his failed bid to cling to power, according to a newly unsealed court filing from prosecutors that lays out fresh details from the landmark criminal case against the former president. Though a months-long congressional investigation and the indictment itself have chronicled in stark detail Trump’s efforts to undo

I don't know what the viewership numbers were on the vice presidential debate between Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, but if they're not high they should have been because that was one of the best debates I've ever watched in my time as a political junkie (which goes back a looong time). Vance, as RedState previously reported, wiped the floor not just with Walz but also the CBS News debate moderators, who did what they weren't supposed to do at least twice in "fact-checking" Vance, only to have him refuse to be silenced by fact-checking them right back.

There was one specific instance where the Minnesota governor was pushed on a falsehood he told about being in Hong Kong for the Tiananmen Square protests. Walz proceeded to melt down on stage, with an especially awkward moment toward the end of the exchange. Here's the video for those that didn't see it.

JD Vance of Ohio, gave a steady and lawyerly presentation and was widely seen as the victor. The largely good-natured forum, hosted by CBS News, featured the two candidates agreeing with each other repeatedly and expressing warm personal sentiments — avoiding the blistering personal attacks that were part of both presidential debates earlier this year. Walz, 60, who has honed a folksy demeanor on the campaign trail, was noticeably nervous and misspoke repeatedly as he wrung his hands, took frantic notes,
