It’s been an insane news cycle—Joe Biden unintentionally revealed to the world that the left and the corrupt media have been lying to us for years and that he is actually mentally compromised—a fact that he made clear during one of the most consequential political debates in history, where he basically faceplanted—the former president and now-GOP nominee for president was shot, Biden quit his reelection campaign, and now Kamala Harris is being sold to us by that same corrupt media as the Second Coming despite her long record as a raging leftist.
I will quote Fox News political commentator Brit Hume, who said Wednesday night:

Zacarias Moussaoui was convicted and is serving a life sentence in the federal SuperMax facility in Colorado for being part of the 9/11 airliner hijacking operation that killed more than 3,000 citizens and destroyed the World Trade Center towers in New York.
You can read his indictment here.
A quick recap of his part in the terrorist mayhem from the Associated Press:
Zacarias Moussaoui remains the only person ever convicted in a U.S. court in connection with the Sept. 11 attacks….
Moussaoui was arrested in August 2001, before the attacks, when his efforts to obtain advanced flight training drew suspicion. He was charged [that] December as being a member of the al-Qaida conspiracy

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) The resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle wasn't much of a surprise, especially after the bipartisan calls for her job on Monday. She will no doubt be replaced with another bureaucrat who is as monumentally incompetent as she is.
After the Sunday shakeup and the Monday adjustment, things settled back more into campaign mode.
I wrote here about the Trump-Vance campaign issuing a press release to calm supporters down about any "honeymoon" polling bump that Harris might receive, which was a smart move.
Since it was announced on Sunday that Harris would be the "anointee" — nominee doesn't really fit

As events of the past few weeks crowded each other off the front pages and cable news outlets, interested Americans watched the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, “testify” before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. But she testified to absolutely nothing. She answered no questions. The woman turned evasiveness into an art form. She was expressionless, her voice monotonal. It was as if she were on some form of medication that so dulled her senses she performed like an automaton. She seemed to think the attempted assassination of Trump was no big deal while dispassionately

“Revenge is a dish best served cold”--In Star Trek II, the Wrath of Khan, those words are said by Khan, portrayed by the late Ricardo Montalban when he thinks he has exiled his longtime enemy, Capt. James Kirk to life on a desolate planet. Now, a Washington Post reporter is getting a taste of the “dish best served cold,” according to The Liberty Daily.
Washington Post reporter Max Boot, an unhinged leftist, has spent years referring to President Donald Trump as a foreign agent. In the ultimate case of karma, Boot’s wife, Sue Mi Terry, has been indicted for operating as…an unregistered foreign agent for South Korea.

I don’t think there is much more to it I mean, from what we’ve seen and what we’ve heard, it was a bullet shot that grazed his ear and injured his ear, according to the physicians who examined him. There was no other further damage."
That was Dr. Anthony Fauci last week on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Dr. Fauci changed his diagnosis from Trump’s “wound” to “injured,” as though Trump had been involved in an accident. In reality, Dr. Fauci never wanted to treat gunshot wounds, and that’s why he became a

Since a would-be assassin tried to kill Donald Trump, we were wondering how quickly the Democrats would pivot to gun control. We have our answer: Monday morning’s congressional hearing barely got underway when Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) attributed the near-assassination of a former president to Congress’s failure to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens.
Raskin, who hasn’t found an opportunity to grandstand that he couldn’t resist, acknowledged that the Secret Service failed Trump, but he attributed just as much blame to a lack of gun control legislation. He spoke for four minutes about “mass shootings” and how banning “weapons of war”

Over and over and over again, we were told by the White House that Joe Biden's health was just fine.
That he was old, he had some minor issues, but he was basically fine.
We of course knew that wasn't true, given what we've seen day after day, watching his incoherence and confusion. But they've been selling us this fiction for months as he campaigned.
But now Frank Biden, Joe Biden's brother, has made a concerning comment about Joe's health that's going to cause even more questions. CBS White House Correspondent Nancy Cordes reported late Sunday that Frank said that his brother's health was definitely a factor in the decision:

Matthew Hennessey is the deputy editorial features editor at the Wall Street Journal. In “Democrats Will Pay for the Biden Big Lie,” Hennessey takes up the massive cover-up of President Biden’s condition that we have lived through for some time now.
Since when? I would say since the basement campaign of 2020, but Hennessey has a more conservative and tentative estimate. He asserts that Biden’s withdrawal announcement yesterday “brings to an end the big lie Democrats have been telling about the president for at least a year and maybe longer—that he is in full control of his mental faculties and springier than an Olympic gymnast.”
I doubt that Biden’s announcement brings the

No wonder Kamala is so fond of saying “unburdened by what has been,” for example, her own record. A burden indeed. I doubt the Trump campaign needs this pointed out, but they should move quickly to define Harris in the public mind by highlighting her previous policy positions this week, before she tries to stake out new “moderate” ground as leftwing Democrats always do. You know the media won’t do this, unless they are forced to. Set her up either as the leftist she is, or as a flip-flopper when she tries to move to the middle.
In other words, dust off the playbook George H.W. Bush used effectively against

Herewith a few observations in the form of theses to help us think through where we are after the withdrawal of President Biden from the 2024 race.
• Democrats have enacted a variation of the old Churchillian apothegm. In political wartime, power is so precious that it must always be surrounded by a bodyguard of lies. Churchill said it something like this regarding the protection of truth during war. Democrats have transformed my variation of it into a permanent truth of our politics.
• Until June 27 every Democrat who has humiliated and shivved President Biden surrounded him with a bodyguard of lies. They lied about his capacity to do the job

There were two peculiar events before Joe Biden decided to drop out of the 2024 race. The media and donors besieged the president, along with Hill Democrats, leading to the dam breaking during the Republican National Convention. One underreported thing was that the Biden campaign was struggling to raise money; the other part of that disastrous Nevada trip where Biden contracted COVID.
He had met with his money man, Jeffrey Katzenberg, about the finances, which wasn’t good. Katzenberg tried to deny it, saying they’ll raise the funds to win, but, when pressed further, redirected all further inquiries to the Biden campaign, which refused to comment.

The Open Championship is at Troon in Scotland today through Sunday. Tiger, who is in the field at Troon, has known Donald Trump for a long time, and has spent time with him. The two are friends. People who spend time with PDJT like him. Tiger will vote for his friend. Good people stick up for their friends.
