President Biden swiftly left the East Room of the White House on Wednesday following the Medal of Honor ceremony, ignoring questions about his health.
The embattled 81-year-old commander-in-chief has faced mounting pressure to withdraw his bid for reelection following a disastrous debate performance last week.
After bestowing the Medal of Honor to two Union soldiers who fought during the Civil War at the ceremony, he quickly headed for the exit while dodging questions.

Would you like to learn the true back story as to why the Democrats picked those two particular Union Soldiers who were executed by the Confederate Army during the US Civil War to receive the Medal of Honor over a hundred and fifty years after they were killed? As since the Civil War there have been many thousands of US military members who have been executed by enemies all the way up to this modern era?

All of a sudden the media is 'concerned' about biden's brain, which has been dead for years. The deep state now wants him gone so now the 'concerned' media is getting their marching orders to get rid of him.
Corruption at it's worse.

What in the world possesses people to go back 150 years to decide to issue a pair of MoHs???
I don't know anything about these men, but good grief, they are long dead, their sons and daughters are probably also long dead. Why now? Is this just an invented "Joe event" showing how great a guy he is and "supporting the troops".....of 150 year ago?
Seems contrived and faked up to me.

I saw the show today. Biden did okay, read the script and didn't fall, mumble (too much) and didn't sniff the old lady's hair.
But I still ain't gonna vote for him.

The Civil War incident is known as the Great Train robbery which made into a movie starring Buster Keaton and another movie by Disney starring Fess Parker. The leader of the Union raid was James Andrews. I used to drive on Piedmont Avenue in Atlanta on which there is a small historical marker saying on this spot in 1862 James Andrews was hung. Train theft was frowned on.

There are a few things a struggling POTUS can do to boost his poll numbers, and one of them is to hand out military awards, in other words, always keep an award waiting in the wings, and never too far from reach.

I heard that Joe got tired of waiting for the medal recipients to show up, so he left in a huff.

A AP headline said that the two Civil War soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor for having taken part in a “daring mission” with a small raiding unit during the US Civil War, during which they were captured by Confederate soldiers and were executed by hanging. This award yesterday sets a precedent for awarding the Medal of Honor, which before these awards were made in the modern era based upon the individual actions of military members that were beyond the call of duty. No Medals of Honor have been issued in this century for unit actions like raiding actions behind enemy lines. The D-Day invasion in Normandy, France in June 1944 was a “daring mission” by any account, and the Army Rangers who climbed the cliffs on D-Day to silence Nazi artillery guns were not as a unit awarded the Medal of Honor. In such unit actions the units involved have instead been granted Presidential Unit Citations. So since Biden is a outright 101% partisan political career DC liberal Democrat politician you can safely bet your hat that there is a big politically based back story behind Biden awarding those two Medals of Honor to two soldiers for a said to be unit action in the Civil War that took place over one hundred and fifty years ago.

Biden was proud to award those MoH's to the two soldiers because he thinks he fought along side them.

#2 might be on to something. I've never seen Pedo strut; the only pace he has is "shuffle". But he certainly seemed to have hightailed out of the ceremony as fast as possible. New batteries? Different "cocktail"? Different biden?

It was definitely a contrived event. Staff members have been pouring over history books to dig up something they could use for such. Anyone but an idiot can see right through it.
Someone on TV commented on what poor taste to use a decisive thing like the Civil War.
