If you thought that the effort to make Pete Buttigieg into a thing has waned or diminished in light of his tenure as Secretary of Transportation, think again. CBS Sunday Morning leveraged a treacly Father’s Day profile of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and husband Chasten into an infomercial hyping a 2028 presidential run.
Watch the end of the interview, as correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti asks the presidential question, and elicits an emotional response from Buttigieg:(Video) JONATHAN VIGLIOTTI: Is there a world where you see Penelope and Gus living in The White House in 2029?
PETE BUTTIGIEG: I don't know about that. That's just not how I'm thinking about even the near future.

He's an idiot. World War III could explode across the globe, and the only thing he'd have to say is 'We're closely monitoring the situation'

Not a serious person. I would say, “serious man,” but I’m not sure if that would be politically correct. …Not a guy I see squaring off with Putin.

While I agree with other posters that a Buttigieg presidency is a laughable proposition, look at what the Dem vote machine has managed to put in office lately: Biden, Harris, Fetterman...none of whom are remotely serious people yet, there they are. I believe it's possible that they could run this limp-wristed nothingburger, and the votes of the dead and the cat ladies could be enough to propel him into office.

He's a total idiot and now has a public record of failing at Transportation as well as being a clown. He won't even survive the primaries if he tries.

You mean, "What, me worry?" Pete E. Neuman? This is the level to which dems have devolved to?
The fact that the media has devolved also to the point of not bursting into guffaws at the mere mention of Buttigieg as a Presidential candidate is pathetic.
Of course they have been propping up their Biden sock puppet for the last few years so this is not too surprising.

That bum would NEVER get my vote and not because he's a homosexual. It's because he's a lazy stupid arrogant democrat and we've already been through that twice.

Don't count him out. If the democrats can run a senile old fool, and a skank, they certainly can run a peter-puffer and his butt boy.

Bring it. Buttigieg is as worthless as Kamala Harris and I'm sure she can produce more breast milk if she so desires; could probably beat him up as well.

He's dumber than a bag of hammers. He just called all Catholics "insurrectionists". Ain't gonna happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if the dems tried it.

Please. Even the Democrats now see what we always saw in this incompetent clown. Plus, those pda's with Chasten on the campaign trail would make most independent voters vomit.

I lived in the South Bend area when he was mayor. The best thing about him the residents of South Bend Indiana had to say about him was, "Thank god he isn't around very much." In South Bend there is the University of Notre Dame, and outside that area is utter urban decay. The University does not allow the city of South Bend any say in what happens on University property nor on University owned property. Buttigieg is all posturing of leftists - nothing more.

“Pot hole Pete” did nothing to repair the pot holes in the streets when he was mayor. After seeing his performance as Secretary of Transportation, I believe his performance as mayor was the high point of his career. It is a toss between Pete and Kamala who would make a worse president. His reaction to any problem is to say it is somebody else’s fault.

We must amend the Constitutional requirements to be elected President. We must specify that a candidate must be a living human being in order to eliminate animals like Buttplug (weasel), PIAPS (a sow), and the sniffer (walking dead zombie).

Buttplug is no more qualified to be POTUS than was 1-term senator BHO...and neither could point to a single, meaningful accomplishment to certify themselves as a worthy candidate.
Point is, if BHO could get elected solely on the faux-merit of his status as a minority-black, so could Buttplug, as a minority-homosexual.
