The authorities have intercepted a cache of rifles headed for “transnational criminal organizations” at a gas station in Blythe, California, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) press release published Friday. The discovery of the weapons came when a K-9 unit detected the weapons and alerted its handler. Border Patrol agents searched the vehicle and found 25 AK-47-style rifles with 30-round magazines and two pistols, according to the press release. The authorities arrested the two individuals in the car. These included a 25-year-old U.S. citizen and a minor. “Transnational Criminal Organizations traffic weapons to fuel their illicit activity on both sides of the border.

Joy Behar of NBC’s The View has expressed her fear that Donald Trump will somehow cancel the show if he wins back the White House in November.
Having invited leftist MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow onto the panel, Behar responded to her recent claim that she could be targeted in the case of a Trump victory.
According to Behar, Trump could use agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service or demand companies pull their advertisements to force the show off air.
Representatives Thomas Massie (R-KY), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and Eric Burlison (R-MO) have introduced a resolution aimed at rescinding the congressional subpoenas issued to Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro. This proposal also seeks to officially repudiate the actions of the January 6 committee, which Massie and other Republicans have labeled as wholly illegitimate.
Rep. Massie floated the idea on X, suggesting that Speaker Mike Johnson could play a pivotal role in preventing Bannon’s imprisonment.

WASHINGTON – The House Ethics Committee said Tuesday that it's expanding its investigation into Rep. Matt Gaetz, R.-Fla., to include “additional allegations” that the Florida lawmaker sought to obstruct the probe as the panel looks into accusations of sexual misconduct, illicit drug use and more.
