Trump's Latest Proposal Could Earn Him
Big Points With Blue-Collar Workers

Former President Donald Trump is putting American workers first— unlike the incumbent leader in the White House now. Trump discussed the proposal of eliminating taxes on servers' tips in his pitch for a new policy position that could inch him closer to victory in November. The former president introduced the idea during a rally in Nevada over the weekend where many Americans work at hotels, restaurants, and in the entertainment business and rely on tips to make ends meet. “This is the first time I've said this and for those hotel workers and people that get tips, you're going to be very happy, because when I get to office,

Smart move, very smart. Of course Biden will say that it’s a tax break for the rich.

Around 2019 Trump was visiting reopened coal mines in eastern Ohio. Tall, hefty, burly men who had just gone back to work, were holding his hands and sobbing like infants. The video was an eye opener.

Actually, the rich pay much more than their fair share of taxes. It’s just the rich DemoniKKKRats that don’t because they know the IRS won’t audit them.

Legally, this could be done. Tips are gratuities and not necessarily income that can be taxed. It’s a regulation imposed by the Democrats in the IRS that makes it a tax. Trump could change that. It’s also brilliant, and could flip Nevada and other places with a large service industry. So it’s solid politics.

How about eliminating (or significantly increasing the floor) where social security benefits are taxed?

A similar thing President Trump might consider: It had long been normal for companies to recognize a retired worker's long service by extending some privileges. For example, a theater might offer free or reduced tickets to retired workers, or bus, train, shipping lines or airline companies for travel in otherwise unused berths or seats. Then about 20 years ago, the government started taxing the retires on "income" that others would have expended to purchase the "empty" seats. Seems it is "unfair" that everyone who never worked for a company is entitled to a share of those who did, to "make it fair." A bit like the endless left wing wacko war for "death taxes" because inheritances are "unfair." An "imputed tax" is very similar to the "auras and penumbras" of imagined "rights of government" in the "living document" alleged to create "imputed limits" on Liberty.

Eliminate taxes for everybody until congress critters pay down the debt they got us into. Make them work and garnish their wages and wealth, especially those like nasty, Schumer, and McConnell.

Host Jen Psaki said, “I’m sure you are aware of the controversy that broke out over some comments that Trump made about Milwaukee, which is hosting the Republican convention coming up later this summer. He reportedly called Milwaukee a horrible city. He called Washington a filthy and crime-ridden embarrassment. He has called Chicago worse than Afghanistan. He once called Baltimore a disgusting rat and rodent infested mess. These are America’s cities.

PINEHURST, N.C. — This was everything you want out of every major championship. Star power at the top of the leaderboard. Dripping drama to the final putt struck. Palpable pressure on every shot. A taxing and exacting golf course with zero margin for error. (Photos) The 124th U.S. Open was a true and proper war of attrition, just as it ought to be. And when the day — the fourth consecutive sun-soaked day of oppressive 90-plus-degree heat — was over on Sunday, it was Bryson DeChambeau who was the last man standing.

A popular haircut known as 'The Edgar' has sparked a major backlash - with some restaurants and schools seeking to ban those who sport it. The bowl-shaped style - which has been compared to a modern Moe of Three Stooges and Spock of Star Trek look - is typically favored by Mexican-American young men who are known as 'Edgars'. But the trend is causing widespread division in Hispanic communities as locals increasingly link the haircut to crime, while others accuse critics of being racist.

Many wondered if the Chicago Sky would again resort to bullying tactics and obvious, flagrant fouls in their rematch with Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. The answer is yes. Yes, they would. Late in the third quarter of a tight, hard-fought battle between longtime rivals, Caitlin Clark drove to the basket to increase her team’s lead. However, her scoring attempt was undone by a forearm to the head from Angel Reese.(X Video) The foul was initially called a common foul. However, officials upgraded it to a Flagrant 1 after review. Honestly, this is just purely malicious. Reese wasn’t even pretending to go for the ball here.

France— Jordan Bardella is shaking things up in French politics. He’s young. He’s handsome like a male fashion model, and since 2022, he’s been president of the National Rally, the new name for the National Front party founded in 1972 by controversial far-right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen. The party has moved on from its far-right roots, becoming more of a populist party under Le Pen's daughter, Marine. "Jordan Bardella, the right-wing 28-year-old without a college degree, could be the French prime minister in a few weeks," says Thomas Corbett-Dillon, a former adviser to former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and adviser to other European politicians. Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) Texas home was disturbed yet again by pro-Hamas agitators as he remains true to his pro-Israel stance. Cruz’s Houston-area home was the victim of more than two dozen pro-terrorism protesters who occupied his front lawn, yelling antisemitic slogans. This weekend marked the 23rd time protestors showed up at his home. The senator took to social media to reiterate his undivided support for Israel, saying that “No matter how much these antisemites cheer Hamas,” he will always stand with the Jewish state.

Imagine a Jan. 6-style crisis, only this time with serious (as opposed to politically manufactured) disagreements over whether the presidential candidate who won a key state is entitled to its electoral votes. That disturbing scenario just became a little bit more likely — not for the next presidential election but subsequent ones. Without fanfare, Minnesota’s governor signed legislation last month that would award the state’s 10 presidential electors to the national popular-vote winner even if he or she lost Minnesota. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact purports to take effect once states carrying 270 electoral votes (the minimum needed to win the presidency) have agreed to its terms.

What’s happening with black women in America? Some are rising to power thanks to the DEI movement, which rewards skin color, gender, and sexual preference over merit, experience, or excellence. However, the problem arises once those women who are not qualified are placed in positions of power and leadership, where they often quickly crash and burn. From embezzling $15 million in COVID funds to engaging in shameless plagiarism, these meritless women have demonstrated that they are not up to the task and struggle with the responsibilities they’ve been given. President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign on Thursday called on top Republicans to drop litigation seeking to curtail aspects of mail balloting now that Donald Trump has begun to embrace the method. Trump for years falsely claimed voting by mail was riddled with fraud, but his 2024 campaign began a program this month to encourage mail voting if convenient for people. It is part of Republicans’ attempt to increase mail voting among their supporters. At the same time, the Republican National Committee, newly under the former president’s control, has sued or joined lawsuits seeking to limit certain aspects of mail voting.
