It is a real mystery why Trump Derangement Syndrome has managed to destroy the legacies of so many formerly admired Hollywood celebrities. Robert DeNiro, whom I had always thought was a terrific actor, has become such a vicious and profane TDS victim that I have lost the urge to watch again any of his great performances. After the braindead NY jury found Trump guilty of 34 fake felonies, Hollywood TDS-infected stars celebrated this egregious miscarriage of justice. I really can't say 'great' He plays the same character over and over. Adam Sandler is the same, but he OWNS it. :)

I did NOT like the movie "Raging Bull." And until De Niro's TDS rant, I didn't realize that I have not ever liked De Niro. I had to go back nearly 25 years to a particular scene he played which I thought was funny. The movie was "Analyze That" in which he played a Mafia car salesman, fresh out of prison, who pointed out to hoity-toity potential buyers that the big car trunk could hold three bodies. He didn't make the sale.

At Biden’s request DeNiro struts into a press conference outside the courthouse with his bodyguards trying to look the Movie God. He proceeds to go into a rant in a gravelly voice sounding like he’s possessed. His brain got taken over by Trump hate and turned him into a pathetic old man. Who on Gods earth does he think he’s influencing?

Hollywood...as WE knew it in the good ole days is gone....I only watch movies from my private collection now...anyone seen the original "Enemy of the State"?...it explains a lot of what's going on these days with washington.....watch out for the FBI and CIA...and NSA...they are corrupted by the K street and washington swamp creatures...and they are DANGEROUS!!...I still think the guns drawn at the raid on Mar-A-Largo was an attempt at shooting President Trump as he defended his wife and children and his personal belongings...they even took his medical records and his person letters and passport...what does that have to do with Presidential records?

I agree with her except for the part where she says Robert DeNiro was a great actor. He seems to play himself in every movie. I also cannot and do not watch anything these leftists idiots were/are in. I dislike seeing or hearing anything about them. That includes George Clooney as well as Obama and senile Joe.

I understand Alicia feelings. We both grew up in the two major entertainment cities of our country. Alicia in New York, and myself in Los Angeles. The relationship between celebrities and locals is an easy laissez-faire respect. They are treated as any other citizen. It is considered gauche to act "like a tourist", at least in Los Angeles. They need to run errands like anyone else and deserve their privacy, but we are proud they are our fellow citizens. I believe this respect for actors and the big name directors is the legacy of the WWII entertainment industry. The Hollywood and Broadway Canteens, and the Bond Drives. Not to mention the Jimmy Stewart's and Clark Gable's that enlisted and served in the war. This current crop of malcontents have taken this proud legacy and are wearing it as a skin-suit to cover their ugly, devilish visage. The delicious irony of this whole escapade is that DeNiro has destroyed himself, just as Hollywood and Broadway are destroying themselves. I'm also watching the old movies on You Tube. I pick an actor or actress and watch all their movies. I've done Herbert Marshall, Ronald Coleman, Joel McCrea, Olivia de Havilland, William Holden, and I'm currently on Ida Lupino - they also have the movies she directed. (Hat tip to a favorite Ldotter.) As others have commented; the stories, acting, sets and costuming are absolutely wonderful. If the theater owners really want to make some money, they should show these films!

As fat as I am concerned, the first good performance DeNiro did was "Taxi Driver", which coincidentally also the last good performance he did. And in the unlikely event that I ever watch that again, I'll be cheering for the Harvey Keitel character, despite him being a low budget Epsteinian child pimp.

The first aid from an American-built pier arrived in Gaza on Saturday since storm damage required repairs to the project, the U.S. military said, relaunching an effort to bring supplies to Palestinians by sea that had been plagued with problems. The pier constructed by the U.S. military was operational for only about a week before it was blown apart in high winds and heavy seas on May 25. A damaged section was reconnected to the beach in Gaza on Friday after being repaired at an Israeli port.

It was [Hitler's friend, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-] Husseini who turned the Arab-Jewish dispute from a resolvable conflict over land to an irresolvable conflict over religion. Were a Hamas-run state to replace Israel "from the river to the sea", it would be a theocratic regime closer to that of Iran than to the autocracies of Jordan or Egypt. Jews and Christians would not be allowed to live as equal citizens in such a state. Indeed, in areas currently controlled by Hamas, Christians and other non-Muslim minorities have been ethnically cleansed.

The American Left is like a dog with a bone when it comes to attacking religion. Barely a day goes by without somebody holding some totalitarian worldview yelping about how Christianity in the United States is creating a new era of racism or anti-LGBTQism or some other form of generalized hate for something or other. The Left recently warned that flying the colonial era “Appeal to Heaven” flag is a leading indicator of one who is “extremely invested in the semiotics of American fascism.” No less alarming is how Christianity is fomenting an “ideology that justifies any tyranny that one’s nation might inflict.”

In a daring feat masterfully executed, the Israeli Defense Force rescued four of the hostages in Gaza. Most touching of all was the rescue of Noa Argamani, whose mother is dying of brain cancer, who had prayed she’d be reunited with her daughter before she died. The hostages had been held by private citizens in two separate apartments 200 feet apart within the central market of Nuseirat in Gaza and the rescuers had to stage a difficult simultaneous operation to free them. They operated under heavy fire from Hamas and local citizens.

Spain, Ireland and Norway recently formally recognized Palestinian statehood.... It is unprecedented in world history for a terrorist group to attack another country, murder its people and take hostages, only to then be rewarded with a recognition of statehood – cordially facilitating its future actions, including against countries in Europe. We have already seen this April "thousands of protestors" in Germany demanding a Caliphate with sharia law. The West's reward also sends a message that... the West will eagerly accept any antisocial behavior rather than stand up for the values of civilization that have defined it for centuries.

The evidence for this proposition is thoroughly presented in a new book, The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy: The Final Analysis, which I have recently published with Dr. David W. Mantik, M.D., Ph.D. Armed with a Ph.D. in physics and a medical practice extending over five decades as a radiation oncologist, Dr. Mantik has seen the JFK autopsy skull X-rays more than anyone else. Using a densitometer, he measured the light coming through the X-rays millimeter-by-millimeter (with some measurements at a tenth-of-a-millimeter calibration).
