Former President Trump is making a special 78th birthday appearance for fans in his “Club 47” group at a venue near his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Fla.
Congressional Republicans feted the party’s presumptive presidential nominee on Thursday during Trump’s first post-Jan. 6, 2021, visit to the Capitol.
Should Trump return to the White House, he would be on track to edge out President Biden as the Oval Office’s oldest occupant by the end of his second administration.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EDT.

First Lady Jill Biden is arguing in favor of her husband’s old age while on the campaign trail, telling voters that President Joe Biden is a “healthy, wise 81-year-old” and that “age is a gift.”
“This isn’t just about stopping an extremist, and this election is most certainly not about age,” Dr. Jill Biden said Thursday at a Green Bay, Wisconsin, event, CNN reported. “Joe and that other guy are essentially the same age. Let’s not be fooled. But what this election is about, it’s about the character of the person leading our country.”
As the first lady stops in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, Nevada, and Arizona, she is rolling out

Nancy Pelosi is losing it.
The former Democrat Speaker of the House is the walking personification of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Her hatred for the former (and likely next) president burns white-hot, as evidenced by her petulant, childish, immature, and unbecoming incident in which she tore up her copy of President Trump's 2020 State of the Union speech. Now, she's just becoming pathetic, as we see in her recent interview with MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, where she begged the Trump family and the GOP to "stage an intervention" to prevent Trump from running. Why? Probably because she can see that he's winning.

Dr. Peter Navarro granted an exclusive interview to the Daily Caller from the Federal Correctional Institution of Miami, where he is serving out a sentence for contempt of Congress – a term he and his allies have called a political imprisonment.
“Lawfare is real. Lawfare is wrong … We’re not supposed to act like Communist China or a Banana Republic. But that’s the growing perception of our justice system,” Navarro told the Caller.Navarro served as Director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy from 2017 to 2021. He is set to be released from prison on July 17, at which point he plans to debut his new book,

A newly released video showed Joe Biden becoming severely triggered while being questioned by a reporter during an "influencer" event at the White House. Independent journalist Jonathan M. Katz, who has a sizable social media following, confronted the president with his phone in hand, asking about civilian deaths in Gaza. Biden was none too pleased. He snapped and attempted to make some kind of threat involving throwing Katz's phone. It's hard to tell what his intention was because his senility got in the way and he completely flubbed what he was trying to say. (X Video)

With President Biden arguing that former President Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan decided it would be a good idea to try to help make that case. On Friday’s CNN News Central, O’Sullivan was seen on the road with Trump voters, where he was aghast at the idea that they view America as a republic, not a democracy.
In one clip, O’Sullivan was speaking to a couple when he declared, “Obviously, there's a lot of criticisms of Trump that he is bad for democracy. That he's bad for American democracy.”
A woman interrupted him to assert, “Can I say something? We are a republic. We’re not a democracy,”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he had a “positive meeting” with former President Donald Trump on Thursday after Trump traveled to Capitol Hill to talk with Republican lawmakers.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee praised the GOP Senate leader during his comments at the D.C. meeting, POLITICO reported.
“We had a really positive meeting, he and I got a chance to talk a little bit, we shook hands a few times, he got a lot of standing ovations, it was an entirely positive meeting. Mitt Romney was there, as well, and I can’t think of anything to tell you about it that was negative,” McConnell said.

On Wednesday, three judges with the First District Court of Appeal for the State of Florida ruled that Plaintiff Zachary Young had sufficiently provided enough evidence to the court that they could proceed with his defamation suit against CNN for punitive damages. The network allegedly, knowingly lied about his security consulting company and their work amid President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Jake Tapper, one of CNN’s presidential debate moderators was one of the journalists at the center of it all.

Fortunately, Friday is Joe Biden's last day in Italy for the G7, so the time that he can embarrass us overseas at the conference is thankfully coming to an end. We've seen him wandering and people having to help redirect him back to where he was supposed to be going. We've seen him giving garbled answers and snapping at a reporter because the reporter dared to ask him a question at his presser that wasn't about Ukraine. That managed to get a reaction out of the White House Correspondents Association. They threw Biden under the bus in their statement, saying there were no "deals" as he claimed.

DETROIT, Michigan — Black conservatives gathered in Detroit, Michigan, on Thursday evening ahead of former President Donald Trump’s speech at Turning Point Action’s The People’s Convention.
A BLEXIT event, featuring its founders Candace Owens and Brandon Tatum as keynote speakers, took place on Thursday evening in Detroit, where black conservatives gathered to hear from conservative thought leaders, including Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The event kicked off with singer-songwriter Raquita Harper performing the National Anthem while attendees stood with their hands over their hearts.
