Three officers with a U.S. Marshals task force were fatally shot while serving a warrant Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, officials said. One marshal and two local officers working with the fugitive task force were killed. One additional task force member and four officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were also shot, officials said. One of the wounded officers was in critical condition, officials said at a news briefing Monday afternoon. In total, eight law enforcement officers were shot. They said a suspect was also dead. A fugitive task force was serving a warrant on a suspect in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon when the violence began.

Media had pictures of perp. Publish them! When media and police refuse to identify, we know who did it. Then story will disappear… Sick and evil. Pray for law enforcement and America.

Three lives lost and several more wounded over a firearms violation? I'm not a cop but there are smarter ways to make this type of arrest.

Serving a warrant these days should require the lawmen to be wearing rifle class bullet resistant vests and carrying rifles, and being very careful.

Police have to stop going up to houses to arrest perps. They need to wait until the perps are outside and then make arrest.

The most pertinent line was that the perp is dead, saving taxpayer money prosecuting the putz and incarcerating him.

Another day in the line of duty for these law enforcement officers. I do not envy them their jobs. It is thankless and filled with peril. There is no respect for the officer or position. The amount of hate coming at these men and women everyday would crush most of us. God bless all the men and women who go to work everyday knowing that they could not make it home at night. My sincere sympathy to the families and friends of these officers. Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted.

Earlier, we reported on the pathetic and disgraceful display being put on this week by pro-Hamas protesters on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). To quickly recap, demonstrators who were upset over early morning arrests at an attempted encampment took down the American flag at the main campus and replaced it with a Palestinian flag. Though the agitators were amused, the university's interim chancellor, Lee Roberts, was not. Roberts proceeded to walk to the flag pole himself, remove the Palestinian flag, and re-fly the U.S. flag, to the appreciation of the Jewish students nearby. In another defining moment,

Internal data obtained by Fox News via a House Homeland Security Committee subpoena to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shows that thousands of illegal immigrants have been flowing into over 45 U.S. cities under a controversial program instated by the Biden administration. The "CHNV" migration parole program stands for Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Immigrants from these countries are eligible to participate in the parole program. The program permits them to fly into the U.S. directly under certain conditions, such as having a sponsor in the U.S. and being approved for travel. Between January and August 2023, approximately 200,000 migrants flew into the U.S. via this program.

As RedState reported, things finally reached their breaking point at Columbia University on Tuesday night. After weeks of illegal trespassing by pro-Hamas fanatics that escalated to the storming, damaging, and occupying of Hamlitlon Hall, police finally got the green light to move in, and move in they did. According to the latest reports, the pro-Hamas "encampment" and Hamilton Hall have been cleared, with over 100 arrests being made. Videos are emerging of the raid and its aftermath, with dozens of "protesters" crying in horror as they face the consequences of their actions. A fair warning that you may enjoy this a bit too much.

Barely two weeks after initiating layoffs for at least 14,000 staffers, Tesla is now reportedly laying off hundreds more — including senior executives and the majority of its Supercharging team. According to an email first reported by The Information and then Electrek, the automaker’s senior director of EV charging Rebecca Tinucci is leaving the company on Tuesday, alongside most of the 500-person team she oversaw. Tesla’s head of the new vehicles program, Daniel Ho, is also out along with his team. These cuts come in addition to the recent 10 percent workforce reduction — and Musk’s email leaves room for more.

The New York Police Department received a letter from Columbia authorizing its officers to move onto campus. Columbia University is threatening to expel student protesters against Israel’s handling of the war in Gaza who took over a campus building on Tuesday. “Students occupying the building face expulsion,” said Columbia spokesperson Ben Chang, The Associated Press reported. “Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation — vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances — and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday,” Chang added. Chang is referring to the school’s Monday promise to suspend people who did not clear the encampment and sign a document promising to obey the university’s policies around protesting.

Thankfully the bite occurred under her arm pit as she instinctively raised her arm to protect herself. The dog clamped down and shook her like a rag doll.
