Supreme Court to Hear Challenge to Biden
‘Ghost Gun’ Rule

Original Article

The Supreme Court agreed on April 22 to consider the Biden administration’s rule regulating so-called ghost guns that can be assembled at home. Oral arguments in the high-profile case are likely to take place in the fall. In October 2023, the Supreme Court reinstated the rule, which lower courts had enjoined.“Ghost gun” is a pejorative term used by gun control advocates to describe a homemade firearm that lacks a serial number and therefore can’t be tracked by law enforcement. Although some states regulate homemade guns, gun control groups have been trying for years to ban or regulate homemade guns at the federal level but have failed to persuade the U.S. Congress to act.

People have made their own guns in this country since the 1600s. Even then, some of the more complex parts were more efficiently made in factories, but the majority of the gun, the stock and the barrel were made by hand either by the user, or sometimes by a local gun maker. NONE of these home made or locally made guns were serial numbered or registered. Today, partially completed gun frames have been sold, with the WRITTEN APPROVAL of the ATF for many years, with the owner finishing the frame which the ATF defines as "the gun", and then installing the other parts which the ATF has defined as just parts. Now the Dems, preparing for their goal of banning guns and confiscating them all, is horrified that people can make their own guns, without any federal records and the government won't know who has a gun or how many. This is about banning all guns, for certain. Until 1968 gun law, anyone could sell as many guns as they wanted, and sales through the mail were very common. And guns only had serial numbers if the manufacturer wanted to do it for their own reasons. The guns were handled no differently than hammers, saws or shovels. They were just TOOLS. Now the government fears We, the People, and is desperate to disarm us because they know we are getting very tired of what they are doing to us.

Re #2, I'm afraid that when the time comes, they'll send out a heavily armed and armored team to a few homes, and if there is even the slightest hint of resistance, they'll mow down every living being in the house, people, pets, whatever. This will be repeated a few dozen times to train people that "resistance is futile". They won't show up with two cops and a warrant. It'll be 40 with an armored car, flashbangs and machine guns at 3 am.

Former UK Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson announced Sunday that he has resigned from the Labour Party, amid growing scrutiny over his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Mandelson’s resignation comes after the release on Friday of Department of Justice documents suggesting Epstein made payments totaling $75,000 to accounts linked to the Labour peer between 2003 and 2004. Mandelson, who was a sitting member of Parliament at the time, denied receiving the money, but said he would resign to avoid causing “further embarrassment” over his ties to Epstein.
