The New York City Council opened its Thursday meeting with an invocation praising Allah, recognized in Islam as the supreme deity. Imam Abdoulazakou Traore of the Darou Salam Islamic Community Inc. led the council in prayer, beginning with an Arabic recitation followed by an English translation that expressed reverence for Allah as the “Lord of the world” and sought guidance for the city’s lawmakers. The New York City Community Affairs Bureau estimates the Muslim population in the city to be between 800,000 and 1,000,000, with other sources citing numbers as high as 1.4 million. This demographic makes New York home to the largest Muslim population in the country,

It always surprises me when a person or a group of people invite the Creator of the Universe to Get Out! and invite another god in instead. That takes Hutzpah, and New York City Council neither knows nor cares. There's the pity.

Uhm, I believe Commandment I, takes care of this. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. That is not a suggestion it is one of the Big Ten. It is appalling to me that anyone would give voice to Islam knowing the satisfaction it gives this unhinged fringe to blaspheme Almighty God in a public setting especially in NYC. It makes me question the sanity of the very people who bore such a loss on 9/11. How can you then turn around and give a platform to the people who committed such a heinous act. Seriously, has NYC lost its mind? We will learn to our great sorrow that you cannot give voice to people who support a religion that screams Death to America! Without complete and utter renouncement of that sentiment, they should have lost ALL opportunity to speak publicly. Just do not give them a platform. What do they have to do New Yorkers, kill thousands of you again?!

Tonight, as Iran launches attacks on Israel, it is important to remember that exactly one month ago the Biden administration granted new sanctions relief to Iran that gave the country access to billions. The move was criticized by Republicans and downplayed by Democrats and the liberal media. It’s just another reminder that Biden has a habit of making the exact wrong decision on foreign policy every single time. FOX News reported in March: US frees up billions in sanctions relief to Iran as Tehran proxies wreak havoc in region White House national security advisor John Kirby on Friday said the funds from a sanction waiver extended this week by the Biden administration to

President Kamala Harris. It's an idea that keeps popping up on the campaign trail and in more Washington, DC conversations, as more people are wondering if there is a real possibility the vice president could be the 47th president of the United States. Republicans continue warning that President Joe Biden, 81, might not make it to Election Day, but as the election draws closer, political strategists are turning their attention to Harris. Former President Donald Trump, without being prompted, mentioned in an interview that Harris would soon become a 'very big part' of the 2024 campaign..

There have been multiple polls in recent months that show Trump leading Joe Biden in the swing states and those polls are making Democrats very nervous, but another new poll has some Democrats much more worried. This poll has to do with voter identification. Democrats have had a strong advantage on this for years but that has changed. The split between Americans who identify as Democrat vs. Republican is now almost perfectly even. Nick Arama reports at RedState: Fascinating Poll Shows Another Major Voter Shift That Brings Good News for GOP Since the 90s, when Republicans last had a lead in voter identification, there had been a shift toward people identifying as Democrats until

In previous decades, it was customary for sitting presidents to refrain from berating and criticizing the work of previous presidents, but Joe Biden has never been one to engage in human decency. Thus, from the onset of his presidency, he has relentlessly scapegoated President Trump to deflect criticism of his nearly four years of failed leadership. With a presidential election six month away, it is time to highlight Biden's failed policies and lay blame where it belongs: at the feet of the current occupier of the White House. Democrats counting illegal immigrants in the U.S. census is “all about power,” Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, detailing the real reasons why the left is allowing the southern border to run amok. Earlier his year, Hagerty and his colleagues pushed an amendment that would have barred illegal aliens from being included in the count that determines the census, which affects how many congressional districts each state has. They were trying to fix a problem former President Barack Obama expanded upon, he continued, as the former president took away the question on the census of whether or not a person is an American citizen.
