Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer Rob Reiner appeared on MSNBC this week to promote his new film about ‘Christian Nationalism’ and used the segment to explain that he understands real Christianity better than Christians.
His documentary is obviously just his latest attempt to demonize conservatives and Trump supporters, yet he tries to suggest that the project is somehow not bashing Christians.
Isn’t it hilarious when people on the far left claim to speak for conservatives and Christians?

The only explanation I could think of to understand Meat-head’s meat-headeness, was he majorly bogarted joints at every protest meeting he attended, plus tripped on acid and peyote past his brain’s red warning zone, After that, the dude was gone and was never home in the attic since then.

To Meathead: Do not speak about which you know nothing. You are a godless reprobate who is not qualified to speak for Christians. It is offense and arrogant. Let me leave you with this thought from Psalm 14:1 ~ “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” You are going to have to take this up with Almighty God one day. Good luck with that.

Meathead, who does not believe there is a God, touts the teachings of Jesus (well, only the one's that he agrees with) who claimed to be God. Can you get anymore inconsistent than that?

From the article: "ROB REINER: Because it doesn’t really reflect Christianity from what I understand. I mean, I went through a very tough time in my life, many years ago and I read about Christianity. You know, I was raised as a secular Jew. There was no religion in my household. But I started reading about Christianity, about Buddhism, about Islamic religion and I came away with understanding the real teachings of Jesus were about loving thy neighbor, doing unto others as you would have them done to you and those are the things that I latched onto."
My first concern is in the first sentence about from what he understands. If he hasn't read the Bible from BEGINNING to END, his understanding is narrow and limited. My second concern is in the last sentence about loving thy neighbor and doing unto others but he left off the first part of the Greatest Commandment - love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Rob Reiner seems to think one can be done without the other. My last concern is his arrogance and lack of humility. It speaks of the Democrat party trying to take God out of society.

Yo, Rob...Jesus was the first Christian Nationalist, but in the name of the Kingdom of God.
In fact, Jesus' religious nationalism was so repugnant to the Pharisees that they demanded His excecution.
As Jesus said, His Kingdom is not of this world...but it is a Kingdom, and it is at extreme odds, even fervently nationalistic, with every modern Pharisee.

Rob, your "documentary" is nothing but a "mockumentary".
Until you humble yourself before God, and genuinely ask Him for revelation, you are not capable of comprehending Jesus:
"but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles." (1Cor 1:23)

you wont be able to run for safety, Rob, when you are snatched up and thrown in the Lake of Fire. But God's Word says that after a judgement time there, everyone will bow their knee and worship the Redeemer as King.

I commend him for trying to learn about Christianity. LIke many, he is picking and choosing what he likes. What does he think about Jesus's teachings on divorce and sexual immorality? Or that that Jesus said, "no man comes to the Father except through me?" Also, he missed the most important thing Jesus did, which was die for our sins (and fulfill the Old Testament prophecies). If many Christians are conservative, it is because liberals like him mock and hate Christians who believe that we live in a sinful world and need Jesus's full message of salvation. that

A secular Jew is a person born to Jewish parents who is a Jew in name only.
They do not obey the ordnances of the Jewish faith. They were simply born to Jewish antecedents.
They use the Jewish fait like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi use the Catholic faith, they make mention of it when it serves their purpose.
Lucianne will not allow me to say what the meathead really is , but it ends up in a septic tank.

I love to watch The Rockford Files on my smart tv (LOVE James Garner!), and there is an episode where Reiner plays this self-aggrandizing football player who is actually a big loser. I watch it and think, he's playing himself, basically.
Like many liberals, outside and inside the church (they're a poison wherever they go), Rob wants Christians to "be nice ...love everybody.... accept everybody", but he doesn't impose those strictures on himself or other liberals. They are happy to talk about Jesus' teaching as long as it benefits them. They even like to talk about how Jesus ate and drank with the sinners. Of course, they always leave out the part where he called them to repent and believe, and to go and sin no more. And if that comes up, then they become like Pontius Pilate - "what is truth (or sin, for that matter)?"
Of course, he doesn't understand the Scriptures. And the fact is, he probably hasn't read the Bible, but rather picked up Scriptures off the internet, like other liberals, having no context or clue about them, just looking for a gotcha and banking on many Christians not knowing the context, either, which is, sadly, becoming more common, and which leads to many being deceived and falling away from the faith. It's funny how Satan pretty much still uses the same lie - "has God really said....?".
That said, if he has read the Bible, the fact is, God's Word doesn't return void. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. If he has read the Bible and remains outside the faith, he has rejected, thus far, the work of the Holy Spirit in his life. As long as he is living, there is still an opportunity for him to repent, and I pray that he does; however, if he continues to reject the truth, he will indeed one day confess that Jesus is Lord before facing final separation from Him in hell for eternity. As much as I despise his arrogance, I don't wish that on him or anyone else. After all, according to God's Word, "... and such were some of you". We are all born rebels against God, and those who are Christians are such not because we're smarter than other, but because God brought us to a place of repentance and faith. Faith is a gift of God. I pray that God would do the same for Mr. Reiner, and for all those who are enemies of God,, before it is too late.

The rich man the Lord tells us about recorded in Luke 16:19-31 had one request in hell. “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment." He was now in hell and he did not want any company. Repent.

Rob Reiner:
~ “I came away with understanding the real teachings of Jesus were about loving thy neighbor, doing unto others as you would have them done to you and those are the things that I latched onto.” / Loving thy neighbor does not include murdering babies in the womb or up to birth; does not dictate, restrict or forbid God-given freedoms of speech or behavior that is within the realm of God’s revelations/teachings as presented in Scripture which is the inerrant Word of God.
~ “and I started to see that there was a movement afoot that had nothing to do with what I understood to be the teachings of Jesus and it was a pure political movement for just, for power.” / God created all things, including civil authority (Romans 13), and makes clear that everyone is subject to governing authorities; however, God’s laws prevail over man’s laws and when man’s command conflicts with God’s command, man must obey God (Acts 5:29). An effort not for power, for a restoration of the principles of this country’s Founding Fathers, adherence to the U. S. Constitution, acceptance of God-given freedoms.
~ “And I got a book--a book was sent to me called The Power Worshippers by Katherine Stewart and I said, “wow, this could be a real great documentary to show that there is a difference between the precepts of Christianity and Christian Nationalism, which is a pure political movement.” / Ms. Stewart’s writings suggest she has a leftist ideology so that ideology would influence her interpretation of things contrary to leftist ideology. Using the same “precept” analogy of Christianity and Christian Nationalism for comparison purposes, would Mr. Reiner perceive the nationalism influence of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals” as a pure political movement?
