Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush may be headed for a defeat in this year’s primary battle amid a federal investigation and strong criticisms of her positions on the Israel-Hamas war, a new poll suggests. Bush, a member of the so-called “squad” of left-wing House Democrats, is trailing her main primary challenger, Prosecuting Attorney of St. Louis County Wesley Bell, by 22 points with about six months until voters in Missouri’s first congressional district go to the polls for the primary election in August, according to a new poll by MOScout and Remington, a Republican polling firm. Bush is currently under federal investigation for alleged misuse of federal security money, and

I think there IS “white supremacy “ in corruption in Congress. White Congresspeople get away with enriching themselves. Blacks and Hispanics, who do just what everyone else does in Congress, get called out by white colleagues and the “press “.

Many democrats are sick of the illegal antics practiced by those they put into office and hopefully, cheating methods will not be as effective in the downstream races that resulted in the 2022 wave that saved their bacon. Crooked politics was acceptable in the past as long as the dems and labor unions were beneficiaries of the corruption but in this over-the-top administration, everybody is suffering except for those who successfully gamed the system and haven't been caught yet.

She has got to be one of the most offensive members of Congress. I see her type all the time working here in DC. Unqualified, but arrogant and in your face with her arrogance - knowing she can get away with anything. BTW #3 - check out Rep Maxine Waters - she's done very well for herself and no one calls her out.

In a rare bipartisan move, Senate Republicans and Democrats worked together to push through a supplemental foreign aid bill that would send even more money (with virtually strings attached) to Ukraine. While conservatives in the Senate blasted the bill, their hopes were on the House killing it before it could be brought up to a vote. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky gave a fiery speech on the floor about the issue on Monday afternoon. (X Video) The bill has not formally passed the Senate, but it's already dead in the House. In a statement released on Monday night, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced that the bill would not be taken up

Hillary Clinton was met with backlash online after congratulating 'Taylor Swift's boyfriend' on his dramatic Super Bowl win. The Democrat, 76, took to X last night to celebrate Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs becoming back-to-back Super Bowl champions - yet failed to address the player by his name. 'Congratulations to Taylor's boyfriend - and the entire Kansas City Chiefs community!' she tweeted. But the message upset NFL fans who alleged Clinton, a self-proclaimed feminist, was 'objectifying' the 34-year-old tight end with the 'extremely disrespectful' dig. Some even argued that her tweet proves the far-right conspiracy

European leaders reacted to Donald Trump’s comments on NATO over the weekend — in which he laid out his frustration at member states refusing to pay their way and yet still expecting full protection from America’s military might and hence the U.S. taxpayer — in two ways, a report in The Times reflected. Not a newspaper particularly friendly to the 45th President, the British broadsheet noted that some reacted with “sheer horror”, like Spain’s Josep Borrell,
