Like Alice dropped into an illogical world, I’m looking at the past week and seeing a chaotic, topsy-turvy, irrational series of policies, events, and outcomes. There are many possible examples to choose from. I’ve chosen four: The open border, the inexplicable disparities in the handling of crimes by Democratic district attorneys, the Administration’s song and dance with Iran and UNRWA, and China, and there’s a degree of overlap in some of these.

In the Superman comics I used to read, it was called Bizzaro World.

Nobody spells it out like Clarice. Obama and Valerie Jarrett were not only soft on Iran, they gave them billions of dollars with no restrictions and terrorism across the Middle East thrived. Quite the coincidence that Biden is doing the same thing.

In the comments below the article,a commenter mentions the similarities between the last days of the Soviet Union and our own current mess.
Yes,our figureheads are a gerontocracy, but,we are ruled by a foreign cabal of freaks and weirdos hiding behind the meat puppets installed in our government.
We won't be voting our way out this...

FTA: 'Confronted by a reporter concerning the no-bail policy for illegal criminals, New York's Governor Kathy Hochul suggested they be deported, contrary to her state's and California's sanctuary state policies.'
I bet she only said that so her police detail will continue to protect her worthless carcass.

I love Clarice and her columns. Spot on as she is every Sunday. Coffee and Clarice is a great start. I really miss American Thinker’s comment section. Before pay to play it was a great feature.

FTA - "Millions of people -- mostly military-age men -- from almost every country on the globe are being processed by the Borden Patrol and released with orders to show up for hearings, many not set for several years distant, during which time the Democrats will certainly seek an electoral advantage."
Doesn't it bother you that millions of foreign military-age men are being invited into the country through the southern border? What "orders"? What "hearings"? I know. I know. It's the old, " it really doesn't affect me so why worry about it"? But it will and in your lifetimes.

Forget Alice in Wonderland, I'm thinking more along the lines of "The Electric KoolAid Acid Test."

Meanwhile, the rest of us live in the suburbs, somewhere between A Brave New World and A Clockwork Orange. Alice’s tale is forgotten fancy, Britbox historical TV.

Let me tell you nay sayers...there is NO way Americans will let biden serve another term...orchestrated by Obama and valerie Jarret...the Iranians that rule the White House....the only way they can win is...if they demand martial law and keep everyone away from the polling places....Iran's dream of taking over the Middle East is not happening...and you can bake cookies on that!!...Israel will never let that happen....

Clarice: You're off by one little word.
From your article: "Either Biden is stupid or he thinks we are."
It should be" "Either Biden is stupid AND he thinks we are."
There we go.

FTA: "The combination of the sweeping preemption by the courts and diminishing enforcement by the agencies has left states as mere observers to their own destruction. It is like watching your house burn down as the fire department works primarily to prevent anyone else from putting it out."
Good summary of life in the US controlled by democrats. It is as if the 10th Amendment, "any powers that are not specifically given to the federal government, nor withheld from the states, are reserved to those respective states, or to the people at large," never existed, even though the first ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights, was ratified by the States in 1791. It is still the Law of the Land and should be enforced by the States and "the people at large," that still follow the Constitution. It appears that it is the democrats who are actively in rebellion, led by our current Chief Executive, aka, the Head of State.

Those whodon't read Clarice are seriously underinformede. For example, who knew:
FTA:
While Robert Malley was placed under FBI investigation and was removed from office as Biden’s Iran envoy, the administration has not deviated from the never-disclosed policy he set in 2016 while he was with the non-governmental agency, the International Crisis Group -- a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Biden will not enforce sanctions against Iran, has instituted no arms embargo against Iranian drone purchases, and has not interfered while Iran builds up its nuclear arsenal. Those drones Iran purchased are apparently the very ones the Iranian proxy Houthis are firing at vessels in the Red Sea. We keep announcing that we are shooting down those drones, but it’s a costly “victory.” The drones are worth about $50 thousand each, and the cost of destroying them before they damage our ships is in the millions. Certainly, reason suggests it’s time to destroy the drone launch pads and launchers and abandon Malley’s plan.
