Michael Patrick Leahy appears on Steve Bannon War Romm discussing, in part, the Jeff DeWit message to Kari Lake and who from “back east” was the originator of the message to bribe Mrs Lake to stay out of the Arizona senate race. {Direct Rumble Link} As expected, the sources for MPL’s report outline that Mitch McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Committee originated the proposal. This should not be a surprise to anyone who reads CTH. The NRSC is primarily funded by the biggest lobbying group, the U.S Chamber of Commerce.

Ruh roh, Turtle. You really stepped in it this time. So, who were you expecting to run against Sinema? The sheriff from Pinal County? Or you had a deal with Sinema that if she would run as a rino pubbie, you would ensure her re-election, and run against who pray tell? Look for your dim colleagues to demand an ethics investigation on you. If they and your fellow pubbies can prove you gave the go-order to offer Lake the bribe to not run, you may be toast, pal. Turtle, I seem to recall that in 2009-ish, the former governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich was impeached, removed from office, convicted, and incarcerated for eight years on federal charges of public corruption for attempting to sell Obie's senate seat to the highest bidder.

China Mitch, 'Mittens' Romney and their ilk are why I stopped contributing to the Pubbies years ago. They give the Democ'RATS everything that they want, as long as the 'Rats drop a few crumbs their way so they can continue to feather their already rather plush nests. When, a few years ago, the Pubbie 'establishment' types attacked Texas representative Louis Gohmert for his efforts to stop the invasion of illegals, that absolutely made up my mind. I'll support Trump, Jim Jordan and the MAGA supporters, but NOT ONE PENNY for the 'China Mitch' crowd.

Is there any question that Mitch McConnell needs to be de-funded and retired? This is what makes Trump so attractive to voters, nobody owns him. McConnell, in contrast, is owned by big donors and has to do what they tell him. He is the worst of the DC uniparty swamp.

The Senate immigration bill, aka border security bill, is only designed as the cover for the Senate to send $60 billion more to Ukraine. The Ukraine money is the priority (corps/lobbyists) the border “security” bill is the technique to create and spend it. That said, they certainly would not want to let a created and purposeful border crisis go to waste, and they didn’t. The latest version of the Senate Immigration Reform Bill is now public [SEE HERE]. The proposed Senate border security bill provisions are actually worse than existing non-secure border provisions.

President Joe Biden won the South Carolina primary on Saturday, the contest that revitalized his 2020 campaign and now has given him his first official victory in his bid for a second term. The Associated Press declared Biden the winner at 7:23 p.m. based on an analysis of initial vote results showing him with a decisive lead in key locations throughout the state. At the time the race was called, Biden was leading statewide with about 97% of the vote, nearly double the 49% he received in the 2020 primary. Almost an hour after the race was called, Biden’s vote percentage remained largely unchanged at about 97%.

Obama and Biden like Iran. Obama and Biden are facilitating a pro-Iran policy. Obama and Biden don’t want to do anything against the interests of their pro-Iran position. That’s the simple baseline. As a direct consequence, the same U.S. intelligence community that proclaimed the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation, now modify their prior intelligence to proclaim that Iran likely doesn’t have any control over the various terrorist networks they support. As a result, Biden cannot conduct a retaliatory strike against Iran because Biden cannot prove a direct link to Iran.

The former president will participate in a roundtable with the group’s executive board, its president and rank-and-file members as he targets the blue-collar workers who fueled his 2016 victory and who are expected to play a major role in November, particularly in critical Midwestern swing states like Wisconsin and Michigan. Union voters tend to vote Democratic, with 56% of members and households backing Biden in 2020, according to AP VoteCast.

N]o, America should not want to enter into any AI agreement with the People's Republic of China on "nuclear C2" — command and control — or any other matter. An agreement requiring a human to make launch decisions would, as a practical matter, be unenforceable. None of China, Russia, or the United States would allow others to pore over millions of lines of their computer code..... America does not need another feel-good agreement with China. It already has them, especially the Biological Weapons Convention, which has no enforcement mechanisms. The Chinese regime wants to talk about artificial intelligence largely because it is trailing the U.S. and thinks an agreement would help it catch up....

A Republican-led House panel approved articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas early Wednesday for having “willfully and systematically” flouted federal immigration laws and breached the public trust. The House Homeland Security Committee voted 18-15 along party lines for the two articles of impeachment, affirming that Mayorkas failed to detain migrants crossing the border before deciding whether to grant asylum. The articles also state that the secretary ignored records requests from the committee and misled Congress about having “operational control” of the US border and maintaining that it is “secure.”

He was the first firefighter to die in the line of duty in recent memory, city officials said. The heroic first responder never emerged from the blaze, prompting a mayday call, Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp said during a press conference.

She came in third in Iowa and second in New Hampshire after everyone else dropped out. If she loses South Carolina, people are going to call the race done even if she stays in since that's where one might expect her to do the best — in her home state. But right now, South Carolina is leaning heavily toward Trump.
